However, reading recently about approved world record of 3208 push ups in one hour by an Australian guy I read the rules of correct exercise which is as follows: "The body must remain straight throughout, meaning there can be no bending at the knees or waist. The body must be lowered until at least a 90-degree angle is attained at the elbow, then raised until the arms are straight". Unfortunately I see your arms far from straight and despite great result I think that just a few of your push-ups would be approved by the Commission. Anyway keep trying!

If you do 50 push-ups in 30 seconds, then you can definitely do more than 60 without stopping. As the speed of push-ups increases, so does endurance. It means you have a lot of strength. I can do 60 pushups in a minute, I know how it works and I've never seen anything like it in the video. I'm not even talking about the fact that he did not unbend his arms from the very beginning to the end. On such videos, you need to put a stopwatch next to it.

There's minimal danger if any from locking out. I don't know where this came from. Furthermore, locking your elbows is supposed to slow you down because that's how you're supposed to do a pushup. Using a full range of motion is obviously harder than partial repetitions.

I noticed that you didn't fully extend your arms at the up position. Make sure they are extended and your elbows are locked before going back down. :)
