How to dismantle a Mini front seat and take the side airbag out

In this video I am dismanteling a front seat for a Mini R50. I dismantled it to remove the side airbag and scrap the metal, but it does show you what you're up to when you do it yourself. I didn't need to rebuild it, if you do, probably a bit more careful is a better approach.

A while ago i was searching for a video like this to make new seat covers for my mini and i couldn't find it so i didn't take the risk to do it on my own, thank you man now i can, my worn out covers will be gone !! You have my like and subscribe! 👍

That's not how you change the airbag that's how you rip a seat apart and destroy it

A perfectly good seat just trashed.
I just bought one for adapt to my car and I just need to take the airbag out for safety reasons.
PS: I was not the one who left dislike... XD

So true. I tried giving it away for years. When I moved from Germany to Holland I didn't want to bring and store it again, so it went for scrap😟
