My early Y reg Mini drivers seat had a terrible home made repair so I had to change that, but the replacement seat leather needed repairing and colour dying, and the air bag connectors were cut off so needed soldering on

In the US Bissell vacuum sells a Spotclean wet vac. I used it with a bit of detergent (Chemical Guys brand) along with wicked hot water. I was amazed what came out of the interior of my Mini Cooper S. Uses less water and dries quickly.

No, it was car 204 and had a very hard life - it went Australia at first then came back then someone made it into a Paddy Hopkirk tribute, drilling the roof rack straight through the roof panel! I salvaged a few bits from that car as it was 2 down the line from mine
