How To Clean PS5 & Fix Overheating Issues (Deep Cleaning) 2022 - UK

- The fan in the console works off the temperature of the motherboard. If the motherboard is getting too hot, the fans will rev up to keep the PS5 cool. Sometimes a build up of dust can contribute to higher temperatures in the Playstation 5.
This repair option includes us opening the console and fully servicing it. Removing all dust and This can help the system to run cool. However, overheating can be an early sign of a PS5 developing the BLOD (Blue Light Of Death) fault which is due to the solder connections breaking between the APU chip and the motherboard - normally due to overheating. If this is the case, servicing the console will not fix the fault.

This is exactly the video I needed to see very used PS5 getting its heat sink cleaned I believe that's how my heat sink looks as well I just finished breaking down a PS3 super slim a PS4 slim and a original PS4 I cleaned out all those heat things and fix those overheating issues so this PS5 is my next and final journey I can't even play my PS5 for 5 minutes without it cutting off but it plays DVDs all night

CAREFUL HE DOESNT SHOW THE LAST TWO SCREWS ON TOP CORNER -UNDERNEATH THE VENT- you got to pop off that vent to get to them. So if you get this far and that corner wont come off this is why.
