The deep feeling of fear and despair I felt upon seeing some of these and going « wait… wait this feels familiar », then checking the fic and realizing that yep, yep I have read at least two of these.

I once found "inappropriate use of karaoke rooms" and it was exactly what it sounds like. Also, "inappropriate use of human skin" used in a Yuri On Ice fic has both horrified and intrigued me.
I understand most of these "inappropriate" uses are probably in an NSFW context, but as somebody who mostly reads Gen fic, I'm loving thinking of _other_ inappropriate ways these things could be used 😄

I love “almost inappropriate use of a library” bc it implies that there is not only a few on way to inappropriately use a library, but that you can also be just on the brink of doing so but just barely not.

It was in the Fallout 4 category, so likely, it's the Lone Survivor trying to segway away from Preston asking them to help another settlement.
