Fun fact "Making out while the helmet stays on" is a viable option.
Its called a Keldabe Kiss and it's when two people adorned in full Mandalorian armour touch helmets in a kind of gentle headbutt.
This is not "making out" per se, but it IS a gesture of affection.

I’ve never felt more proud of myself than when I immediately knew from the ”kissing in a pool of blood and carnage ohhh yeahhh” tag that it was a Scaramouche/Tartaglia fic. And I’ve never even read a fic about those two 😂😂

I was fully expecting “Kissing a decapitated head” to be a homestuck fic then I remembered it’s actually canon so people dont need to write fics about it
I re-read a fic every now and again and in one of the chapters, one guy (1) goes over to the other guy's (2) house and tells his flatmates they are going to "review notes," or something to that same meaning. A third guy (3) thinks 1 is talking about them going over and kissing and making out. 3 then puts on their gc " 1 going over to 2s house to compare notes, is that what we're calling it now?"
And I told my friend that once and every time he wants to get my attention, he says that.
