Ryan yes, agreed. I've fallen so much on my bike it's no big deal. Biden took the fall well. If that's the worst thing we can chide him about I'm all for it. We all laugh at pratfalls and they are funny when your president does it. Subversion of expectations.

If only there was a way to make all legal citizens serve one term in the military like other countries but also a term as local police. Understanding for the job would be universal! And everyone would have a platform to fix the problem of uncontrollable power!
Hate to sound pessimistic, but I foresee a number $ ú íç idés of law enforcement in that town or possibly even mú rd ër$ of them because the more things come out on how the police failed those children the angrier people are becoming.
Yes, so very very predictable. Side-car....for the most part make a few buddies hiding behind the blue line, maybe 6 months of training and you are the newest model of the property retrievers. Mean while the skilled person caring for your property(hair) is required to complete depending on state, 10 months to 2 years. You get what you pay for!

Can you imagine the increase of foster care that these unwanted births will go into. Most teenagers having children , don't have the means to provide for a child , whether it is financially or mentally. Children may suffer if in fact these children never get adopted and go thru the foster care route. Will the government then help with the surge of children in a foster care situation?
If states would give parents the same amount of money that foster parents & adoptive parents receive, ppl could raise these kids on their own.
You are correct. Our already overflowing foster care system will be even more overburdened. The children ultimately pay the price. If a child is not adopted by the age of nine the statistics state they will age out of the program as an adult. We already have over 400,000 children at any given time in the foster care system in the U.S. There are roughly 1 million abortions each year. Just to be generous we will say that 1/2 of these children are kept by family members that then puts our system at almost 1 million children in foster care. :( This is all so sad and frustrating.

Like the fact that a person who was convicted of domestic abuse was able to get a gun!? No wonder, half of all woman homicide victims, were killed by a current or former intimate partner. The only person that would oppose that, is a man that commits domestic violence, and wants to have a gun to control and instill fear in their victim. Then when control over their victim is slipping (or they just straight up snap) they will use that gun on her and maybe even her children (They can be his or not). I don’t remember the number exactly but, when an abuser has access to a fire arm, the probability of her (and possibly her kids too) getting killed, increase a dramatic amount. I can not believe that republicans wouldn’t allow that law earlier.

Pardon me, I did fall off my bike after a ride with my husband and brother in law went for a ride around NYC when I was in my twenties. When I stopped and tried to get my feet off the pedals and on the ground the bike fell taking myself and my young son, who was on the back in a child seat,towards the ground causing me to move quickly to rescue the both of us by turning quickly and grabbing my son just stopping his head from hitting the ground.
Well anyway, getting feet out of those pedal CLAMPS can be a challenge for anyone. Especially right after a bit of a ride.

They dragged a cop out of the building that was trying to go in to save his wife. The cops dragged him out of the building, and put him in a patrol car and took him off the scene. That cop could have saved lives all by himself. The cowardly cops in the hallway couldn't have him making them look bad.
I haven’t heard this but this is so so horrible. I cannot believe how worthless that PD is! Heartbreaking 💔 is an understatement.

The cops that were involved in the school shooting should all be charged, they pretty much have helped the gunman by giving him the time he needed to accomplish his sick goal.
Cops are under no obligation to protect citizens according to the Supreme Court, so no charges would stick.

They kept parents from going in to get their kids; when one mom got in and got her kid and their friend out they arrested her and threatened to add on charges if she talked to the media.
I'm super thankful to have raised my child without ever having been faced with such a preventable tragedy as this, but if I did, go ahead and try with all your might to stop me from doing whatever it took to save him. It wouldn't work. It destroys me to even try to imagine.

I'm not sure how you would know about this if she can't talk to the press (a gag order without a trial or hearing?) but can you imagine? If that happened, it was likely because they were embarrassed that she had the courage to go in while they cowered outside. They were so concerned but didn't even go after her when she entered the building, they were so scared. Waited for her to come back out where they felt safe to arrest her. Those are the same type of cops that beat up on their wives, handcuffed men, and children then think that they're tough and don't understand why so many people lack respect for them.

If you're referring to the overturn of Roe v Wade, that's exactly what it does. It makes it a state decision instead of federal. So states who want abortion illegal can make it illegal, while states who want it, have the power to do so. It did not make abortion illegal on a federal level.

Start charging big oil for any oil permits on public land that go unused and take them away then give them to a company that will use them. Charge them enough to offset the price at the pump till they start pumping and drilling. Right now there is no down side or incentive for them produce. They still make record profits at the cost of the American people that allow them to drill on public land that needs to change.

If your kid needs a hundred dollar graphing calculator, that will save you up to 10 bucks on top of the price, but even then it doesn't make a lot of difference compared to the out of pocket expenses you will incur.

So the decision was actually 4/2/3 because of Roberts' separate opinion. Looking forward to the next test case. I’ve gotten my foot caught in the clips on my bike before. I removed them. I can see how easily it would be to fall. President Biden rebounded fast. My 85 year old dad fell a few weeks ago walking his dog and broke 2 ribs. He slipped on ice. (They had some crazy weather in Coeur D’Alene in early June). I’m glad the President wasn’t hurt. We need a healthy President and Vice President. I just don’t want him to run again. Bless his heart.

What about windows? I've seen firefighters enter through a solid wall underneath said window. If they are charged up enough, one minute 40 something seconds. In. Give me a metal grinder, mainly intended to cut concrete, I could value engineer a cut in a wall in half that time. With proper assistance, this horrible situation would have ended in one minute and one second. The second is exaggerated because a round fired from a gun takes less than a second to strike the target.
He should threaten them with price controls, discontinuing their subsidies, taking back their leases on public land (which they haven't been using but asking for more.

you know why gun law can not be agreed? the answer is the gun enterprise has very role in America. They made a lot of contribution to malitary development( think the huge military expenses every year) and the goverment tax income. By approving the gun law, their profit will reduced heavily. So they(gun enterprise) will not let this happen, and they will try every way to stop the passing of the gun law.

US-Americans whine about gas/petrol costs per gallon, but when I do the maths how much their price is per litre and convert it from Dollar to Euro, they're still paying piffle. It's less than the price we paid here in Germany prior to the war energy crisis. Americans still pay _far too little_ for gas/petrol! If they had to pay more, there would be incentive for them to get off the gas-guzzling SUVs and outdated overweight cars, and their overall consumption of petrol would go down. But of course the oil companies don't want that.
