Anytime I’ve compared myself to others, I’ve felt less than. Until I realized that the only person I should compare myself to, is the person I was yesterday. No matter what you compare, you will always find someone richer, better looking than you, has a nicer car, has a better (fill in the blanks). And it's totally pointless. When I began focusing on the idea of going to bed better than I woke up, basically making sure that throughout day I do things that make a better version than the one who woke up that morning, then life really began to change for me. Focus on you and your own progress. Run your own marathon!

No, not really. He wanted her to let herself take up space and be loud. She doesn't HAVE TO be loud all the time to seem confident. It's just so she'll able to be both without overthinking and stressing out. It's not about "force this behaviour every time without much thinking" but about "feel the emotions that arise from going out of your comfort zone, let yourself process them, then repeat until it no longer causes fear"

I feel like anytime we give ourselves the opportunity to DO something that our initial reaction to was “I can’t’”, it is a huge confidence boost. Even if doesn’t go perfectly or even particularly well you are still proving to yourself that you CAN.
And you didn’t die. This on repeat is how I’ve built my confidence.
This is a really good frame to have. Focusing on any wins you actually made rather than how you didn't do it 'perfectly'

Come on you're just making her feel like she is supposed to react in a certain way and it makes her even more confused. What if her natural reaction just happens to not be loud and crazy? The solution to the human problem is NOT within yourself.

Man is a sinner, and sinners need the redeeming grace of God. ALL the problems in the world, involving humanity, are cause by sin. YOUR sin causes YOUR problems with yourself and others. Sin is what sinners do. In order to not sin, you MUST be changed from a sinner to a saint.
This happens through Jesus Christ, who died on the cross and resurrected three days later, and promises that "Whoever believes in me and Him who sent me HAS eternal life. He does NOT come into judgement. . ." (John 5:24)
Then, once you are born again into the family of God and are a child of the Heavenly Father, you will receive the Holy Spirit. HE will produce in you "love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, and self control." (Galatians 5:22-23)
Pursue the Lord, your Maker, and HIS Kingdom and righteousness. Jesus promises that everything else, which this internet guru tries to SELL you, WILL be given to you from the Father (Matthew 6:33).
If you will not repent and follow Jesus in all He says, the Bible says there is NO peace for the wicked, and ONLY the judgement of Hell remains.
The kingdom of heaven is within. So he’s not totally wrong
@@blackout2430 the Kingdom of Heaven is only within you once the HOLY SPIRIT indwells you. He only does so after you repent of your sins and turn to the Father through Jesus Christ in faith, and submit to Him as your Lord and Savior. The solution is outside yourself, and then He comes inside you and changes you by grace.
