Bro I live in Saudi Arabia and you have no idea how many scam calls I get from Indians. They pretend to be from the bank and ask for personal information. I have blocked so many numbers. Unfortunately my uncle fell for this trick and lost over $15,000

They prey on innocent victims and once they realize they cannot trick victims, then they trash talk and cuss at them. They used to call me everyday with different numbers but i was patient enough to just hang up. once they realised that, they still used to call me just to trigger me and ruin my day. Unlike in west, where compines value Presonal information, here in india when we buy a product or service and register our number with service/product provider like car dealer. The middle men employees illeaglly have deals with scammers and share customers numbers.

Just this week there was huge anti scammer operation in Assam's Guwahati which resulted in hundreds of scammers arrested. Big win for the Cyber cell and all who stand against cyber crime.
Just in the past few days there was a story in the Houston Chronicle about a guy that lost $130,000 to these scammers. It is an incredibly sad and frustrating story.
As an Indian I thank these people. Our cops are useless. A family friend recently lost ~1/3rd of his savings to these b$st$rds. Indian govt should be paying you guys per scammer exposed

I got scammed for over £30000 recently in the UK, i appointed a company to retrieve my money but they faled me miserably, even the online bank didnt take any responsibility so i lost the lot. You are doing a great job so keep it going.

I’m sure the government doesn’t mind all that stolen foreign currency circulating into their economy. That’s why they put such minimal effort into cracking down operations. Also from a nonwhite American perspective, most of these scammers target elderly Americans and it’s starting to create a very negative stigma and stereotype of Indians (obviously not all Indians are scammers). I'm from Munich, Germany. They tried here as well. They have the audacity to call as from the police from Bavaria but I was immediately asking myself why the police will call in english and with an indian accent. After I close the call with the scammer, I called my local police and they said it's nothing they can do. Maybe your work is inspiring the authorities!

You are so spot on! I’m big fan of you, Pierogi, Rosie, Trilogy, Kitboga, Pleasant Green (shout out from SLC) and Jim Browning, and y’all are so right on the money! I’m very skeptical by nature, as well as my training to avoid theft of high end goods, or scams. So WHY can’t the governments do something like this? Too lazy, too political, too scary for them. You all are the grass roots of social change to protect the citizens of our countries against millions of dollars and euros being scammed/stolen. Hats off and kudos to you all!

I love when you talk to them in their own tongue. Not like someone overseas learning the language but someone who lives there. They must hate that so much.

In my younger years before the computer world , Scammers used the phone system to steal from the elderly.
There were many public service ads and education in schools about these guys. Now we have computers and our Governments do less to help the people. That’s why you are all the good news and work that you all do.
It’s up to us all to spread the word.

Karl is right- it’s frustrating to see no action taken by governments or police like the kind being done SP. In the US, I don’t even see a politician making it their pet cause like some do with other issues.

Karl, I came upon your channel while watching the Scammer Payback video... thank you and the team for what you do. I concur, my favorite moment is at 30:40... love it.. I love how all of you came together as a team to shut down scammers, it's a huge problem that won't go away but the more great folks like you all it will make an impact.. the other issue is trying to educate older adults and disabled adults who are easy targets. I'm from Munich, Germany. They tried here as well. They have the audacity to call as from the police from Bavaria but I was immediately asking myself why the police will call in english and with an indian accent. After I close the call with the scammer, I called my local police and they said it's nothing they can do. Maybe your work is inspiring the authorities!
