      @@balancefound I have the same problem. Search white tea. It is really low in caffeine compared to the other green or black tea. They all grow on the same plant but with different growth times apparently. Sort like green yellow red peppers. The trick is to boil water, then wait until it cools slightly and steep the leaves only 2 minutes for the least caffeine. Longer steeping adds more caffeine. I will look up the articles I read and leave another post. I honestly don’t know if I will be able to drink it I certainly won’t be drinking it 3 times a day just in case more affects my Afib. I have been Afib free for close I a year and nothing is so tasty or good for me if it affects my heart. Good luck. I bought organic white tea and a glass tea seeper (don’t use metal if I can help it. Good luck.

Yes, we didn’t have TH-cam or internet back then. This would have been beyond helpful information during those awkward teen years. Through a lot of hard work and trial and error I learned which foods to avoid because I would get hungrier as I was ingesting them. Thank you for all your information! My husband and I enjoy a lot of fermented foods daily and I wonder if that might be part of the reason why all the cabbage and beans we consume don’t bother our digestive tracts. I’d love for you to do a video about fermented foods. I know you’re not a fan of dairy, but what about fermented veggies. They’re so easy to make at home.

    • @Healthyimmunedoc
      @Healthyimmunedoc  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      One packet has 2 grams of sugar, which is less than what your body makes when fasting. No one is going to over drink NACPro+. Have you ever tried crushing vitamins and dissolving it in water to drink? It’s not palatable. I have no problems with 2 grams of sugar to make something healthy palatable. The average person eats 68 grams of added sugar delivered with fat and highly refined carbs.

    I really enjoy your videos, your approach to teaching us is refreshing. Though, with many of these, I have found that there is a stumbling block for me. I have stage 3 Hydradentinitis Supervia and have been diagnosed since I was 8 years old, I am now 54. Six years ago, I went on a total elimination AIP diet and found that most nightshade veggies, gluten, vinegar and turmeric were triggers for developing abscesses' in my body. I have since been in remission for 5 years just eliminating those foods from my diet. Many of your suggestions for an acid requires a vinegar, is there a substitute for vinegar that would be friendly to my system? Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

    Limes and Meyers lemons are better than vinegar to flavor food....I make balsamic vinegar from red wines I make....it has to be really quality....drink wine or use limes lemons to flavor...better for you....

      I have lemon trees but use vinegar when I eat greens, always with cruciferous veg. Dr. Esselstyn says it helps our bodies create Nitric oxide for our arteries.

    Hi, Doctor Liu, @Healthyimmunedoc, I swish use coconut oil as a form of oil pulling before brushing my teeth to remove bacteria, is that not good oral health? Do you not swish anything before you floss and brush? Thanks, Frank

    • @SleeplessinOC
      @SleeplessinOC 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’ve read someone say it can eventually cause gums to loosen from teeth and other possible negative effects . It might also kill all the good bacteria too. Me I just decided not to do it after considering the risks .

    • @frankwturner
      @frankwturner 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      do you not swish anything at all? do you only floss and brush? I've heard the opposite from dentists i trust -- that listerine and such were the good bacteria killers, but that oil swishing promoted a healthy oral biome, that's why the news about oil pulling in Doctor Liu's video was shocking to me@@SleeplessinOC

    • @SleeplessinOC
      @SleeplessinOC 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@frankwturner i only swish with water for rinsing after I brush . I use a little bit of tooth power mixed with a few drops of an EO in a little bottle run by a husband and wife company mostly before bed but in the mornings when I am in too much of a hurry , I just use regular toothpaste . I’m almost certain you have come across them on the internet at some point when searching for tooth products and such but it seems my comments get deleted if I mention certain names or brands.
      I too heard that lister ine can kill all good bacteria in the mouth although another former dentist doctor on YT says that’s not the case and explains it a little more in depth . Although , I dont use it myself but I do use it to disinfect my toothbrush a few times a week if I’m not lazy about it.
      I don’t know for certain how true it is that coconut oil will not kill the good bacteria but I just choose not to use it . I tried it a few times and it’s a yucky feeling in the mouth and decided it wasn’t for me. Some people swear by it though so I really don’t know what to believe.

    Doc, I’ve heard you say more than once that refrigerating your foods: bread, potatoes, can be helpful processing the sugars. Question: After you refrigerate the potatoes can you still get the benefit after reheating them to now eat?

    You make sense. There’s faults on Utube about eating meat because it doesn’t have bad cholesterol. These doctors that want a fast solution to losing weight,but don’t realize the long term effect of eating too much red meat,are giving false information about cholesterol 😖
