As a salty old Veteran, I love The Bad Batch. It works for us. Crosshairs PTSD hits home. Although that clip you posted of TM asking for change...... Legit!
I can definitely see a clone underground being led by a leader who even they cannot know the true identity of, so that the movement can remain active. That leader may, of course, be Ashoka. And perhaps not just a clone underground, but an entire network of underground fighters that eventually merge into the Rebellion, especially after the destruction of the Death Star.
Idk why, probably bc my age (im 30) like what was talked about but the clones lore has always fascinated me. To see honed purpose built warriors evolve after being railroaded and thrown away is so interesting. Bad batch so far is my favorite animated starwars series.
Maybe Disney should find people that are passionate about their projects. They could save money producing and have better quality projects that will make money. That's probably why Bad batch/ Clone wars does so well.
Everyday I pray that Commander Cody (my favourite clone) is out there raising an army, just like one of my other favourite characters Lando Calrissian.
Been going through a shit time for the last 3 years your videos never fail to make me smile so thank you been thinking of commenting this for a while 💯
As someone who watched the clone wars growing up, I can confidently say that I didn't care for anything the episodes had if there wasn't clone involvement. Absolutely didn't watch the episodes that were mostly focused on the jedi or the senators or the politics. I just wanted to see clones in action, doing their thing. I love the episodes that focus on how each clone is really an individual at heart that just shares the same face as his fellow soldier. And their tales are just so tragic that it's hard not to love them. I'd love to see a show dedicated to the clones that shows them effectively forming the rebel alliance and fighting the empire. That would be so awesome.
@SpencerBurkett oh, I can relate to that! I LOVED the Clone Wars as a kid, and I mostly watched Star Wars for clones and Mandalorians and the fun costumes and set designs (still do tbh). I don't dislike Jedi or anything, they've got some very interesting stories, but I definitely got bored if someone asked who my favourite Jedi was or what colour lightsaber I'd have (though my answers were and are Ahsoka and green). When I'd watch A New Hope in particular, I remember I'd be looking at the stormtroopers and just going like "...I miss the clones, these guys are terrible :(" the whole time. I'm glad my brother and cousins also liked clones and Mandalorians a bit more than Jedi; we all watched The Clone Wars, so at family gatherings we'd run around with nerf guns pretending to be clone troopers (and once or twice on the trampoline we pretended one of us was the sarlacc in the middle and the rest of us were Jabba's staff, and I always wanted to play Boba Fett lol. Like yeah, he gets eaten, but he's BOBA FETT). I've recently been revisiting Star Wars, and finally finished The Clone Wars (I stopped watching when it ended with Ahsoka leaving the Jedi; I only just learned there was more. Also I really thought Fives would make it to the end of the war...ouch). I'm halfway through season 2 of Bad Batch right now (just finished The Outpost, which was AMAZING), and it's so good to be seeing the clones again. I find the tragedy of their lives so compelling, and I also find it so beautiful how much happiness and family they manage to carve out, to create for themselves as an act of defiance. Every moment of levity, every relationship forged by a clone is a subtle act of rebellion, an affirmation of their humanity in the face of a system that tells them they're expendable, and I find that really tragic, wonderful, and powerful. Gods, I love the clones :)
As someone who's done with the imperial era and what's between Episodes 3 to 4. If this does happen, then screw it I'll tune in for this. I do love Clone POV stories, that I'll stick with them in this era too.
I really hope in the final episode of TBB, we get a scene similar to the prison speech in Andor. Rex on the comms in Tantiss telling all his brothers if time to rise up.
Honestly I have a feeling we will find out that Hemlock isn't the only one working on Project Necromancer and his division of it fails because he was using clones when others likely will use other sources.
It feels like there’s so much left unsaid that the bad batch started talking about, like I’m still wondering how they’re gonna manage to wrap everything up in 2 eps left. I would love for clone troopers to get their own show to see what happen to characters like howzer and why he isn’t in rebels. If it’s left open it just feels like they’ve written themselves into a hole that they can’t get out of

The Star Wars animated shows are the most universally liked. It would be stupid not to continue a fan favorite format. Also I've noticed in "The Clone Wars" people referred to the war as a Clone War. Having a Clone War II could fill out the lore for the early years of the empire.
From the creators of Clone Wars The Bad Batch comes an all new original series! Star Wars The Clone Rebellion! At least that’s what I’d call it, can anyone think of a better name for it? 😅
I’m 49 and grew up with the OT , my favorite era is The Clone Wars! I still binge the series ! I don’t know any kids who watch Star Wars, live action or Animation!
clones deserve so much. i really hope we'll get a clone underground show. and my favorite episodes were the solitary clone and the outpost too. those episodes were heavy it was painful to watch but it was beautiful too.
Brother you do a great service by educating people through Star Wars, while also diving into the most interesting Star Wars topics. #1 Star Wars channel.
Excellent analysis and commentary, thanks! I especially appreciated your balancing the 'art' with the 'financial' aspects. To me, a long time Star Wars fan, I believe that the best Star Wars experience and 'buy-in' is to be found in the animated series... better story telling, better character development, better canon development. Personally, I find the live action movies (and somewhat, the live action tv series) a step down in quality and experience. Obviously the animated format allows for better creative development. I wish Disney would commit much more to animation w/ the Star Wars franchise. EDIT: And just this morning (Aug 10, 24) the news is full of Disney's big reveal for what next for its consumers... and not a single animated Star Wars was in the lengthy list. Bummer on several levels.
Hollywood changed in the 60 and 70s. Realized Hollywood was left of center in my 20s. With that in mind profits will always trump Hollywood later politics. I’d love to see a clone underground show. That would be awesome.
What I think will happen links to rebels. Imperial records state that Rex is dead (probably until Wolffe’s report) and that Gregor is a traitor, but in rebels the commander states that they were pardoned by the emperor
I want so badly to see more on the clone commandos. I'd love a series following Delta Squad during the clone wars, giving us a peak at their cool operations and lives.
Would love to see a partisan series if we are filling the imperial years, with clone remnants being characters or factions. Let's see a bit of the darker side of the rebellion and some of the smaller wars the empire was involved in.
What is the different between the clone troopers and the Janissary Corps? The Janissaries eventually became corrupt to the point that they can enthrone and dethrone the Ottoman Sultans as many as they wanted as long as their benefits are met. And this led to them eventually becoming corrupted to the point that Sultan Mahmud II decide to perform the Auspicious Incident to disbant the Janissary Corps. The clone troopers, however, have been doing nothing but fighting for the government that never deserved them in the first place. P.S: SLICK WAS RIGHT!
I hope we get to keep this animation style as the go-to for star wars animation. which seens already the case. holding out hope your prediction of the clone underground series holds true. sounds pretty likely, especially with the clear set-up they've been doing for it.
I will continue to hope they make 1 or 2 seasons of a clone wars legacy show, completing the remaining unfinished episodes - Crystal Crisis, Son of Dathomir, Dark Disciple/Finding Vos, Boba Fett & Cad Bane, and Yoda & The Bad Batch to be specific. Would also be nice to see the events of Republic Heroes and/or the 2003 Clone Wars in a canon show.
With the amount of stuff I hear with Disney and their dealings in the anime industry, it's going to be a long time before Disney decides a new financial strategy for their IPs and such.
Yeah, a new series following Rex, with side stories with other clone defectors would be awesome. The real question is what should the name be? Star Wars: Clones Star Wars: Clone Rebellion ?
Thank you for another excellent video. The history lesson was welcomed as I only got into SW from the Mandalorian, otherwise, beyond the original trilogy, it was gone to the movies once just with friends interest. A fan fic had me change my mind about the Bad Batch and from them, Clone wars, Rebels and so. I can definitely see the interest in a clone underground show. Your discussion of the economics also helped explain the cut of shows, and I mean the recent cancelations of a few Star trek shows that were popular with some fans, but not enough fans. As always, the education you give is excellent and I thank you for expanding my horizons not just with SW but overall. Be well.
I've yet to watch Clone Wars, Rebels or The Bad Batch. I watch Alan's channel for the background his videos of those shows provide to what I do watch, the live action iterations of Lucas' Star Wars universe. I also enjoy his tangential philosophical musings. That being said, I think it may be time to dip my toes into the animated worlds he so thoroughly enjoys.
The Clone Rebel army needs to take in/merge with a faction of mado's and get isolated on a remote/hard to get at planet. Something that makes them a minor role in the pre- because they were not there in mass. However, that does not mean that they could of started the foundation that then merged into the true rebel cell call that happened in CW:rebels.
Totally agree! I don't care if it's more clone-related animated series that covers the next 2-3 decades. The more clone stories, the better! Give us what we want disney!!!!
I'm gonna bet that Disney's going to keep telling stories of the clones up to and including the battle of Endor. Since it's been ret-conned that they were indeed part of that fight, I think it kinda makes sense Disney would want to make that official and actually show it and everything that led up to it.
There's a moral undercurrent that every viewer can relate to for their own personal experiences in day to day life. Life has a beginning, and storyline filled with suffering along with appiphines which leads to prosperity through wisdom. The end of life is full of reflection and hope, but as citizens we all die under various circumstances. Which helps viewers to look at their current situations and can empathize with the character arch to satisfy personal connections as an individual in support of the larger collective. Be a Shepard of morality and ethics to preserve prosperity of humanity.
I think there two clones series with Rex and Echo spin-off series and Cody spin-off series coming in 2025 and 2026, Rex and Echo show might go first in 2025 and then Cody show goes second in 2026.
I grew up with the clone wars (primarily) and rebels when I was in my early teenage years and tbh, I prefer the animated stuff (and by animated I mean TCW, Rebels, TBB, TOTJ and most likely TOTE) over most of the live action stuff… that includes SW episodes 1, 4 and 5.
I think the release of a clone underground-like show is almost a guarantee now that Bad Batch is done. The finale closed one chapter but there are many loose ends such as Cody, Wolfe, Howzer, Echo, Emerie, etc… Lucasfilm and Disney know the demand for clone content is high, so they would be stupid not to capitalize
18:00 Forget star wars, have you seen some of the things people do with Blender? I'm sure you've seen the "Backrooms" memes? with a VHS 1990 filter? You would believe those videos are real!! Kane Pixels might be the next lucas. You would believe "The Rolling giant" is live action. But the guy remade a WHOLE mall in Texas that got pulled down, and i've seen videos of the Mall before it was pulled down. It's 100 percent accurate to the original. It's insane.
I love the clones! My love for them grew even more with 2003 and 08 clone wars. It's too bad that 99% of clones didn't realize they were disposable slaves until the empire came along. I wonder what happened with Slick. His methods were questionable but his true message fell on deaf ears. I was expecting Bad batch to do the clone rebellion but it doesn't seem the case and I hope there's another show with clones. Maybe Echo, Howzer, Rex etc could have a clone rebellion show.
They gave a clone captain a glow-up 🤦🏼♂️🤣😭💀👍🏻 What if the rangers of the new republic concept morphs into a hidden path/Quinlan and Asajj/bad batch clone uprising/rebellion/new republic/rangers of the new republic kinda vibe?
Maybe off topic but I give to Wounded Warrior. I’m not rich by far and if I had more money I would pour it into taking care of our Soldiers, Veterans who served and need help after they gave all. Also I also watch it all my good sir and give it all a chance. Great video.
So the thing that actually got me on board with the clone wars was the out of order arc with 5's squad told throughout the first two seasons. I didn't like the clone war animated movie or most of the first two seasons, and I mostly preferred the clonecentric episodes to the Jedicentri episodes.

The clones keep getting hotter too. First Howzer, then Mayday. Not to mention Hunter and Crosshair. They know they doing it for the ladies
Don't forget us dudes who like dudes. Definite eye candy for us too!
@@MotoHikes I bet even straight guys appreciate! Also Gregor is fine too
😂 so true!
You're not wrong.
And I could TOTALLY listen to Hunter's voice reading the fr***ing phone book... 😂
Yess girll! 😅
Idk why, probably bc my age (im 30) like what was talked about but the clones lore has always fascinated me. To see honed purpose built warriors evolve after being railroaded and thrown away is so interesting. Bad batch so far is my favorite animated starwars series.
Clone wars has eclipsed the other star wars content. I do hope this is the direction they go.
I want to see Rex and Cody reunite. It would be interesting to see how clones handle finding out that their actions were not their own.
Maybe Disney should find people that are passionate about their projects. They could save money producing and have better quality projects that will make money. That's probably why Bad batch/ Clone wars does so well.
Everyday I pray that Commander Cody (my favourite clone) is out there raising an army, just like one of my other favourite characters Lando Calrissian.
good choice, but I think Crosshair is cooler
Clones are really underrated, and I think there should be an annual 'hug your clone' day in the Star Wars universe.
If it’s left open it just feels like they’ve written themselves into a hole that they can’t get out of
Most people on the street are the most vulnerable. Foster kids, mental health affected individuals, emotionally damaged , the troops , drug and alcoholics. All shunned. Was homeless.M at twelve with my whole family then was in foster care at eighteen was thrown back to the curb by NYS
It's honestly unfortunate that The Bad Batch final episode didn't include what you predicted.
But we absolutely need more Clone content.
The Star Wars animated shows are the most universally liked. It would be stupid not to continue a fan favorite format. Also I've noticed in "The Clone Wars" people referred to the war as a Clone War. Having a Clone War II could fill out the lore for the early years of the empire.
I didn't know it until I watched this video, but I NEED a clone underground show. And just more clones in general
Here me out, it could be called: The Clone’s War
From the creators of Clone Wars
The Bad Batch
comes an all new original series!
Star Wars
The Clone Rebellion!
At least that’s what I’d call it, can anyone think of a better name for it? 😅
The clones' war
Brilliant, just brilliant! 🫡
Omgoodness i totally enjoyed your zap on TH-camr's who keep making their compliments like other "Theory" shows
11:00 that wasnt the entire clone rebellion, its just about 10 troopers
I’m 49 and grew up with the OT , my favorite era is The Clone Wars! I still binge the series ! I don’t know any kids who watch Star Wars, live action or Animation!
clones deserve so much. i really hope we'll get a clone underground show. and my favorite episodes were the solitary clone and the outpost too. those episodes were heavy it was painful to watch but it was beautiful too.
I’m saying rn, there is no way they don’t tell us what Rex was up to through an animated show.
I'm a Clone/Mando Girlie, my favorite deep dives into lore, legends, etc
Brother you do a great service by educating people through Star Wars, while also diving into the most interesting Star Wars topics. #1 Star Wars channel.
During that episode of Obi wan I so wanted the Clone to be recognized by Ben, that we knew who it was. 10:10
The fatwa line was golden Alan. Keep up the good work. Love the show always smash that like button
The Bad Batch ends and this video gets recommended to me lol.
I sure hope so
Hollywood changed in the 60 and 70s. Realized Hollywood was left of center in my 20s. With that in mind profits will always trump Hollywood later politics.
I’d love to see a clone underground show. That would be awesome.
I sorta like a bit of everything to my man
"If what you have told me is true, you will have earned my trust."
What I think will happen links to rebels. Imperial records state that Rex is dead (probably until Wolffe’s report) and that Gregor is a traitor, but in rebels the commander states that they were pardoned by the emperor
Thank you Allen. Loved your analysis,
I want so badly to see more on the clone commandos. I'd love a series following Delta Squad during the clone wars, giving us a peak at their cool operations and lives.
We will just have to wait for the series finale of The Bad Batch to find out what the future holds for the clones.
I do love more content of the clones, though hopefully we can have a break from their stories just for a bit.
Honestly I'm surprised something hasn't been announced already. Perhaps we'll get some news during May 4th.
I enjoy all of Generation Tech videos
Would love to see a partisan series if we are filling the imperial years, with clone remnants being characters or factions. Let's see a bit of the darker side of the rebellion and some of the smaller wars the empire was involved in.
Got my like at “I’m a combo platter kinda guy” lmao😂
I'm jjst saying that if we see the clones rise up, if we get Vode An playing as they march, it would be the coolest thing ever
sponsor plug was so clean i didn't even realise it was an add
Alan has been captured by dolphins, his shaving is a signal!
Imagine A Rogue Venator as the HQ for the remaining Clones. I'd love to see that
Please please please please please more clones, I NEED something like this
With the amount of stuff I hear with Disney and their dealings in the anime industry, it's going to be a long time before Disney decides a new financial strategy for their IPs and such.
Yeah, a new series following Rex, with side stories with other clone defectors would be awesome.
The real question is what should the name be?
Star Wars: Clones
Star Wars: Clone Rebellion
?
Clone Underground next please. What are Rex and Echo doing? No way they are walking away.
I think the Clone Underground will also lead to The Path, since they’ll have these high “m-count” kids to have to protect.
A clone underground show would be sick
I heard from some where that we could see a lot more animation with the Clone Wars Animated style on the future
The Disney so Woke stuff confuses me. WB makes shows about trans and gay kids. Disney is petrified about having openly gay characters.
"They were probably children 5-15 years earlier". God I'm old. I was a child 25 years ago.
6:33 That was like the best episode of the show. All the episodes should have been like that.
I like it all but the early years of the empire I think provide my favorite content.
I like all eras of the empire; it's really cooled to see the early stuff in The Bad Batch.
I would love to see a clone underground/rebellion but that means seeing them all perish in a final fight (lead by a young Boba Fett maybe)
Could you please make a video on the ecosystems of Dathomir
Dathomir sounds like space Australia: everything wants to kill you.

What if the rangers of the new republic concept morphs into a hidden path/Quinlan and Asajj/bad batch clone uprising/rebellion/new republic/rangers of the new republic kinda vibe?
Maybe off topic but I give to Wounded Warrior. I’m not rich by far and if I had more money I would pour it into taking care of our Soldiers, Veterans who served and need help after they gave all. Also I also watch it all my good sir and give it all a chance. Great video.
So the thing that actually got me on board with the clone wars was the out of order arc with 5's squad told throughout the first two seasons. I didn't like the clone war animated movie or most of the first two seasons, and I mostly preferred the clonecentric episodes to the Jedicentri episodes.
