Just a random commenter on TH-cam but I've been through that and lost a lot of things as well as some valuables that are irreplaceable things to get better and you'll be in a better place once everything's cleared up but I know the times are hard! You got this!
I think the era of the bad batch might be a tad early for the inquisitors to be fully active. It could be that the upcoming failure of Hemlock might lead to the inquisitors taking over the role of his assassin clones.
That would make sense because Hemlocks Necromancer Project runs kinda parallel with the soon to be Inquisitorious. Mostly regarding impressionable force sensitive kids, M-Counts etc. Perhaps any surviving resources either living or simply assets from Tantiss will be reallocated to Nur.
I suspect that the tales of the empire will be getting more into that, with Barris Offee being trained into potentially one of the first inquisitors in this same time frame. Also what Hemlock is doing isn't so much redundant with the inquisitors, it's more that they will replace or begin to oversee the M-count bounties.
That’s what I suspected. We only just saw the whole transition to the Empire, and the inquisitor program didn’t start immediately from what I remember.
I think Hemlock is working on a project where Vader shouldn't have his nose into. Its for Palpatine survival and the last thing palaptine needs is Lord Vader dogs(inquisitors) to have a play anywhere near that.
So one of the things about the rule of two is that in included both the fact that the master should not go gentle into that good night, as well as the fact that if they find a potentially stronger apprentice they should start to train them and make the two compete... to the death. Darth Bane himself knew the essence transfer force technique and tried to use it on Darth Zana when she came to succeed him, had he succeeded then Bane 2.0 would have found and taken an new apprentice with the same set of rules. The fact that he had trained her to be stronger than him and he was unable to take her body was the entire point.
I love that Hemlock had something over Tarkin, and Tarkin was just out of the loop on the project. It was a nice change of pace for once having Tarkin not being in the position of power so to speak.
Of course, you know Tarkin is now going to do everything in his power to destroy Hemlock. Even if it takes years, Tarkin will find a way to annihilate his enemies.
Out of context and off topic: If Anakin Skywalker as the healthy adult, used the voice amplifier in a cave of a planet it would sound pretty loud and amusing, bears will be curious of that sound.

Remeber, the kids are basically DNA donors for Palpatine, he has no interest in training these kids in the force whatsoever, and putting Inquisitors near them and potentially having one of them use the force on the kids may inspire them to connect with the dark side and then just cause unnecessary problems, Palps wants their DNA/Blood, not more Jedi hunters.

If the empire is a gigantic machine and the bureaucrats are gears in it, does that mean the emperor is also a gear in the machine? Just a bigger and more crucial gear than the average ones.
Not so much as what he is hiding but the Empire has a lot of projects running that compete against each other (Krennic, Thrawn, Vader, Palpatine and more). It reminds me when NAZI Germany was competing agiants itself buying stolen works of arts for both Hitler planned museum as well other officers personal collections (the Germans wasted precious war funds in the markets due to agencies working for the same buyer out pricing each other). Check the different US intel agencies as a modern example as, I understood, one agency had intel for 9/11/2001 but decided not to share it until much later that there were some suspicious persons that entered the nation. He worked with Anakin enough to know, and had he been told "This is for Palpatine, he wants to do something with 'M-Count' children"
Even if Helmlock didn't understand and Tarkin didn't fully understand. Tarkin would have told Anakin "You are all that is left of the religion, my old friend".
I don't think we've ever see it, but I think even Vader knew that Tarkin knew. He DID have respect for Tarkin. Vader and Tarkin without all of the Puzzle pieces could have aided eachother in putting the questions together. Helmlock was TOLD not to tell Tarkin perhaps by name.
Heyyyy.. isn’t the Highlander technically like the Sith?? There can only be one, but it starts as two??🤷🏾♂️🤔
How was Anakin choking Padme supposed to lead to her miscarriage when she literally gave birth to two healthy children..?
Easy Palpatine didnt want vader or anyone else knowing what he was doing pretty sure vader would destroy tantiss himself if he knew what Palpatine was planning
