  • In today's video we're dealing with my 2022 Jeep Wrangler 4xe's first issue/problem!
    Yes, you read that right, I unfortunately have experienced my first "FCA/Stellantis" problem... but the good news is that it wasn't so bad of a problem itself! The more exciting matter was just how long it took for the problem to be resolved.
    Watch the video to see all the details of my first issue and how I was able to have it fixed through warranty at no cost to me!

      The "He doesn't work here anymore" delay is frustrating. It really is like they could care less about their customers. It has happened to me, too. Different car make, so maybe that happens a lot? Still low budget way to treat customers....

    Maybe not a problem you would experience in SCAL, but my rear defroster contact broke off the glass for the 2nd time. The fix for this is to replace the entire rear glass (with the exact same faulty part). First replacement glass last year took over 3 months. My last replacement this year took 5 months!. In the 2.5 years I have owned my 2020 Sahara, I've only had 1 month of winter where I had working defroster.
    I guess my point is, the supply chain is pretty much jacked on everything that is not dedicated for a production line. Good luck, love the Jeep still.

      Haha ya I've heard about that issue, but luckily don't need it nearly as much as other regions. Nonetheless, it's surely a flawed design... I'm sorry it's affected your Sahara so much

    10 days not bad at all.
    I ordered new shock for mine and it took a lot more days then that to get them.

    Firstly, good job on detecting the issue quickly yourself as some dealers are scam artists if you know what I mean. Secondly, that is a cool looking Jeep & some bad ass wheels you got there. Looks like a tank!! Enjoy it man👍

      I have a 2022 Wrangler Unlimited Sahara 4Xe, and both my rear shocks are weeping. They look like cheap ass OEM shocks to me. Rather than having a dealer replace with the same cheap shocks, I was going to order 4 Rough Country N3 Nitro shocks. All 4 would be 200 bucks and probably $80 for my friendly neighborhood mechanic to install. Anyone heard about these (good or bad)?

    I have the 2024 Willy’s 4xe with 18,000 hard miles of course I live in the cascade mountains so I often put her through many tasks and as of now never any issues. Besides updating the charging cord 12/15 hours charge time is stupid now 2 hours lol still love driving it still like new

    thanks for sharing as always!! great content and insight. so i guess the 35s and new wheels didn't void the warranty, but do you know if lift kits do?? my JL is still stock after about a year and a half and i still love it. but i've been thinking lately about throwing 33s and maybe a spacer lift to achieve the more aggressive stance without compromising too much of the drive quality. will have to check with my dealer for sure

    • @Reoniz
      @Reoniz  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks man! Ya know I can't say for sure, but I think any change you make, voids that particular parts warranty.
      At least that's how it usually works, but I will say Jeeps are one of the most notoriously modded vehicles out there so you'd hope they'd cover you still 😅👍

    I just started watching your channel. I'm in the bait of getting one. one question I have you might be able to answer compared to the other videos I seen. on the sticker it is saying you get 42 to the gallon. is that true ? if that is true if that being in hybrid mode all the time , on the freeway ?

    • @Reoniz
      @Reoniz  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'll try to answer this to the best of my ability. I get around 17-20 mpg in hybrid mode once the battery's depleted, and just under 20 miles of pure electric range in full EV mode.
      So I can combine that out to an estimated mid 20's to low 30's full hybrid usage up until the battery fully dies!

    • @Reoniz
      @Reoniz  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If I'm mostly driving short distances, I can get over 25mpg's, but if I'm driving long distances, mostly relying on the ICE, closer to 18-20mpg's

    • @daisyacevedo3807
      @daisyacevedo3807 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I just need clarification on the “tax credit” I’m reading that you only get 7,500 if you owe taxes. So if I don’t owe taxes at the end of the year, I don’t qualify? Should I go tax exempt to owe?

    • @Reoniz
      @Reoniz  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@daisyacevedo3807 well if you lease, you get the $7500 as a cap cost reduction... basically a free down payment to bring your monthly down!! But if you buy, then yes it would need to be deducted from your annual taxes! So if you don't have any, and you bought, you wouldn't benefit from it!

    • @daisyacevedo3807

    My dad got one about six months ago. Had too many issues that the dealership couldn’t even fix. Eventually he ended up trading it back. Loved the car but the hybrid system isn’t the best rn for Jeep. Needs more range on the electric part. The car weights like 5k pounds and average about like 20 miles on ev only depending on how much weight you have on the car. Overall great video

    • @Reoniz
      @Reoniz  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You're definitely not wrong... there's a lot than can be improved on. I only choose the 4xe trim Bc of the tremendous value it offered for a wrangler

      @Jparkss 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Reoniz you’re right, the deal on the car was great! I loved the car I just think the hybrid system is too complicated and Jeep needs to release the Magneto which is the beta full ev wrangler.
