I am 59 years old, and I’m in a wheelchair in life right now. You are an absolute hero of mine, you’re doing the very thing I wish I could’ve done being in the middle of wherever in the woods. Off grid, living and doing things to sustain your life and make your cabin your home. Good luck girl you’re doing awesome
I totally agree with your sentiment. For the record, Hanna’s property is not off-grid. She has electrical power and water to the dwellings. Good Vibrations
Gives you all the variation levels for different height clothes with one rod so thats pretty cool too and you can always add as many notches as you need
Agree! and a lovely quilt/wall hanging on the wall behind the bed, and curtains to add more coziness. Another more colorful rug under the desk area, and a few pcs. of art on the walls.
I really like where the cabin is going :) A little feedback for the new editor: The little comments disappear to fast for me to read :( can you make them stay longer? And it'd be rly cool if you could add little comments for converted units (fahrenheit to celsius etc)
I like the new camera angels you're starting to use (suggestion from new editor?) 100% better than most other TH-camrs! Is it possible to use any of Shakira's music or is it off limits because of copy rights? I had fast metabolism when I was young, but did not know what to do with it? Ha!
You’re getting SO GOOD at this whole carpentry thing. Even though this room took you 7 months, I feel like it really shows off your skill, dedication, and as always, style! 💘💘
Wow, that space is really lovely now! I can't believe it went from a 'blank canvas' of yuckiness to this super cozy and spacious room! You're a magician. Also, props to the new editor, the final scene especially was just *chef's kiss*. Hope you have more time to live life now!!
It would not be a Hannah video without music, singing and some dancing❤️❤️❤️❤️. I’ve missed you but so glad you were able to take some down time. THANK YOU FOR ANOTHER VIDEO, they are always top notch. Happy you are back❤️❤️❤️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Wish you had a video every day as you are very entertaining as well as VERY TALENTED. You have had some very challenging projects with room you are putting together, but, you have conquered every one of them. Would be nice if all young people were as motivated as you. I am 81 years old, but, not too old to enjoy watching such a lovely young lady as you. Keep up the good work.
Regarding the measuring method: my dad has been in carpentry for almost 30 years and he's always done this thing where if the length is between measurements he'll say big or small. So like 11 1/2" big would mean it's a tiny bit more than 11 1/2". And he'd write that as 11 1/2"+ (and it'd be the minus - symbol if it was a tiny bit less aka "small"). I've always thought that was cute. He built so much of my hometown it's crazy. There are subdivisions full of houses he's built with his crew. He must've worked on hundreds of houses over the years. He even helped me build my house 😄
Oh thanks for sharing! I always use "and a bit" or "minus a bit". Makes my husband crazy but my crafting buddy knows EXACTLY what I mean and even though we're half a country away and working together on Skype, our stuff always comes out measured correctly!
My dad does the same thing except with "long" and "short" So 11 1/2 "long", or he'll tell me to either leave the pencil mark I made when measuring or cut it off.
@@h4ppy3nd holy shit i always thought it was weird that you guys dont use the metric system but never realized that it actually means you cant measure things precisely 😱😱
You never cease to amaze me, Hannah! The loft is gorgeous. Have you ever thought of becoming a carpenter/interior designer? I love the way you have an idea, then you just do it. You make it look so easy. Love from an envious 65 year old in Australia. 💞
The video previous to this one shows HOW MUCH works goes into each of your videos. I think about how often you have to walk and then come back and get the camera. You are amazing at what you do and will follow you until you are ready for your next venture. ❤️
Every time Hannah starts doing something in a room I’m immediately like oh nooo it’s already so beautiful don’t do thatttt! Then she does it and, it’s always GORGEOUS. You really have such an eye for interior design
You are absolutely my favorite person on this platform. Every time I get a notification that you uploaded a new video it feels like Christmas morning! Thanks for doing what you do and sharing it with all of us. So much love to you ❤️
I'm 70 y.o. and have been working my butt off all day. What a joy to sit and watch you sing, dance, and enjoy life. I'm going back to my project with some music, dancing will have to wait. Lol
Absolutely beautiful! Such hard work went into this loft! You love, blood, sweat and tears!! And it didn’t take you down, you did it!! Awesome, well done Hannah Lee Duggan!!! Blessings and Peace ❤️✝️
You're actually getting better and better at that. Don't underestimate yourself. You're very talented and it shows....and you have good taste. just keep doing what you're doing.
You're back! Yay! 😃 I love the lace curtain! Beautiful touch. And I loved watching you build the desk. I want to do something similar and I expect I'll be watching this video over and over and over when the time comes. Thank you!❤❤❤
This is one of, if not thee, best van build I I’ve seen! And I understand truck life, as in Semi. Having a workable bathroom on the truck would make that life heaven.
It’s good to see you young lady with your free spirit and love for life.. Enjoyed the build and I’m impressed every time a new video is posted. Please keep them coming ☺️
You're such an inspiration for many woman like me, who are afraid to start something as too worried "it might not work" or " I won't be able to do it". I can't believe how you just came up with that desk and the closet layout and build it from scratch! Girl power! thank you Hannah for showing it's possible on your own.
I grew up in Minnesota never trusted spring. I now live in Colorado where we can have any weather in any season and the snow is always likely to melt tomorrow (backyard ice rinks are not sustainable here). I no longer mistrust spring. I just love that almost any weather can happen at any time. We've had plenty of spring days throughout winter and I always hope we get just one more snow.
The closet looks AMAZING, I know it's temporary but I absolutely love how that fabric looks in-between these stained boards! The place is looking so good, can't wait for the next episode! ❤
That top board where you cut out for the logs is amazingly done. *Loudly slow Clapping over here for dramatic effect!* Always a joy to see the smile of "The Stud" in your vids!

I think you've made an unbelievable job of that bedroom! As a diy disaster myself, I'm in awe of your confidence & 'have a go' attitude! You go girl. 👏
It’s coming together so nice !! Is it actually going to be your new bedroom ? The other one was too small? It is really hard work but must be so satisfying at the end to say "I did it all by myself"! Sending love 💕
I’m so sorry that I laughed out loud when the desk collapsed… I love your videos, because you’re just so normal and real, and you leave everything in. Thanks so much for sharing your Reno with us Hannah
You are soo creative...I LOVE the closet. I liked it w/o the hanging curtain ..just open ..because the wood shelves is even so pretty and even the rod with hanging clothes.. Really surprised at the slanting rod and all the clothes still stayed where they were hung and it's so cool looking. The wood wall to closet, the desk, the trim on walls near ceiling, everything is beautiful.
Hannah I love these videos holy cow! Especially because you teach me how to put trim on my walls and help me build a literal desk and a dream walk in closet that I wish I could know how to do. You really inspire me.
Hannah, I am joining your "don't you just love it when....?" club! Having to complete multiple other tasks before one can start the original one we set out to accomplish! Thank you for always keeping it real!
You got so much done! It looks so beautiful, rustic and pretty 😍 I really love the curtain on the closet and the way you utilised the slope for your hanging clothes is genius!

Im in northern WI and I feel exactly like you with this "spring" snow shit. Woke up today to 2 inches and still snowing 😭❄️ I like that it's no longer negative temps tho..trying to look at some positives lol Love your video! Your new room looks so good and I love your closet, like a lot!! The lace cloth to cover the doorway just looks so amazing by that stained wood 👌☺️ ❤️
You inspired me so much that I dug my circular saw out and built a bed frame with nothing but a sketch. Worked great. It had been years since I used it. My setup was as primitive as yours since I don’t own a table saw or even sawhorses, lol. Great job.
I’m watching you from Romania, somewhere in Europe. Step by step I’m trying to do the move, going into the mountains. During the summer I’m staying in an old house, abandoned hamlet, no electricity only 4 solar panels and I want to ask you how are you handling with these too quiet and dark nights? As a lonely 25 yr girl I can't fall asleep without any sound on the background and it’s so annoying 😆.
Are white noise machines/apps/fans not an option because of the lack of electricity I’m guessing? Maybe you could get a small battery powered radio and have the static playing softly for white noise ay night?
I’m more of a silent watcher lol but I’d just like to let you know I quite enjoy your videos! just curious how much a board of tongue and groove costs where your at? At Home Depot here up in Canada it’s 25$ for a 4 inch by 16 foot board ☹️ lol

I totally agree with your sentiment.
For the record, Hanna’s property is not off-grid. She has electrical power and water to the dwellings.
Good Vibrations
You have no idea how BADLY I want a tool company to sponsor you and give you a full set up/workshop
you and me BOTH
That hanging closest solution was really creative. I wouldn’t have thought to do the diagonal like that, but it’s perfect!
I agree. It was genius. I actually said out loud, why would I never have thought of that!
Gives you all the variation levels for different height clothes with one rod so thats pretty cool too and you can always add as many notches as you need
Me either. I had to rewind it. Genius
Right keep the curtain thingy up I love
13:41 Please paint the desk dark green I think that would look so cool. This room is already looking soo good!
The loft is really coming together and the hanging net into the closet is really pretty. Now you need some pretty bed linen and duvet cover.
Agree! and a lovely quilt/wall hanging on the wall behind the bed, and curtains to add more coziness. Another more colorful rug under the desk area, and a few pcs. of art on the walls.
Perhaps It’s a Lace table cloth or Lacey find from a Thrift! It’s so Vintage & so Hannah❣️
Keep it simple!
I can’t wait to see what you make of the downstairs rooms, hopefully a cozy living space that designates a cabin feel with a wall kitchenette
I don’t think Hannah needs duvet stuffs! She’s vegan and she loves animals.
I really like where the cabin is going :)

I actually really loved the look of the closet without anything covering the entryway
Yeah, always prefer to be able to see if there's anything hiding in there especially in the dark, and a cloth is not reassuring 😂
i thought that too...Wondered if anyone else did. I love the hanging cloth but i like the closet open even more.
I prefer it without the cloth as well. Shows off her closet skills. Looks so much nicer without it.
