Wonderful :) I have a suggestion to help with the drafty log wall that you used spray foam on last winter: I know the logs look nice, but perhaps you could insulate that wall only with the regular kind of insulation (the one you used in your lounge when your uncle helped you move in), then put up a vapour barrier and some planks/boards. Tyvek the wall and add shiplap or other siding. Have the breaker box moved, they are designed to be outside, maybe with a small enclosure. Hannah you could make plexiglass inserts to cover the screens in the porch to keep the snow out in the winter and to protect the things on the porch. Eventually you could make it a 3 season room by adding real windows with screens that you can open to let in fresh air, but close during rain and other wet weather. It looks cute but from the more practical perspective: if you don't fill the gaps the floor will keep rotting. Would consider redoing all the floor because it looks concerning. Also, you definitely need some proper isolation on the walls. Unless you are planning to spend winters in van which is cool and tbh good idea.

I recently made the switch to only wearing dresses/skirts (They look better on me, are more comfortable, and I feel pretty every day). At first it was weird, but now I'm used to doing everything in them. I have aprons that I wear if I'm doing something messy. It's been such a good change for me! I look forward to getting dressed every day, now! :) I figure women only wore skirts and dresses for most of human history. If they could do everything in them, why can't I?
yes! if she insulated and put up a wall on the outside wall in the porch then it wouldn't get so cold and drafty in the winter. it'd also hide all the nasty electrical wires from the electrical panel.
Every time I watch your vids I think wow, there’s another “music soul mate” out there just Like me!!! … who listens to all kinds of music and even the bands not everyone knew about back then. If you want check out this new band, I absolutely LOVEEEE called, Strawberry Milk Cult. Love love love your videos.
What a wonderful job you did Hannah! Although another YT creator and expert on wood, in one of his vlogs stated that if you do plan to paint your outside porch for summers or other seasons. It should be with outdoor paint which is different from paints used indoors. And before painting any wood, it should be sanded down, give it some time to breathe, paint it and add a sealant. These steps will prevent the paint from chipping off over time. And the paint(s) should be a dark shade because dirt will be very visible every time you step outside. Other than that I had so much fun watching you redo your porch! And I suggest you read Kate D'Hotman's comment about insulating the outside logs with spray foam, to keep the cold temperature even inside warmer/cooler. 🛠
Absolutely amazing. Are you going to fill in the gaps between those outside logs so no rain can get through and rot your new floor? I wish I had the vision to do what you do.♥️

Bless your beautiful space, thanks for sharing. You are a wonderful human being. All the best!
It looks cute but from the more practical perspective: if you don't fill the gaps the floor will keep rotting. Would consider redoing all the floor because it looks concerning. Also, you definitely need some proper isolation on the walls. Unless you are planning to spend winters in van which is cool and tbh good idea.
I was getting worried about you thinking that you weren’t going to stain the desk then out it came
You should know by now that she’s a grandmaster of staining
You know what I did with my porch I bought several palms & put them right in front of my porch & created a little oasis there! I loved it!!
Very nice room. Seems calm and a great place to relax. Great work Hannah.
Hannah, you've created a beautiful home through sheer determination and hard work, your cottage is what most of us can only dream of owning! your inspiration is commendable!
Yes. The room is gorgeous. That dress at the end was the perfect cherry on top. 👍👏👌
Dream Goal: to live like hannah in the woods and keep renovating whenever you are bored!
Love the 'cabin' transformation, indeed it is a 'cottage'...that rug...now a beautiful butterfly...
Just beautiful and cozy! Great work!
One of your best. Perfect ending and out. So peaceful.
that ending😩 i wish! be proud of what you’ve accomplished it’s so pretty. definitely consider more asmr especially in this space. the bird chirping is so relaxing
When i see your videos it feels like you are the main character of a nature and magic really cool serie
I'm here for the absolute chaos of you blindly jumping into projects. Never change, pls
I’m always inspired and impressed when I watch her project videos. So much will, discipline and power in such a tiny package!! Get it Hannah!!!
Good job Hannah! It looks AMAZING!
The amount of heart, and ambition that you have is amazing.
Beautiful Hannah you've done a great job transforming the cabin into a home. Your good vibes, good eye and magic touch is evident all around. Cant wait for the next one 💗👍
I'm so excited. Everytime you upload a vlog it's an instant boost of serotonin🥰
I admire your spunk and effort. You're doing great.
OMG I love this room! Romantic jungle safari vibes all the way 😍😍😍
I need to start wearing dresses while doing chores haha
I am a house painter by trade. Seeing her paint in a dress amazes me. I go home at the end of the day covered in paint.....Hannah? Nope. Cracks me up.
💕💕💕
@@breewarner312 this is a video; could be she changes her cloths...
@@bunny_0288 I had to wear dresses and skirts mostly growing up. I don't have to anymore but I like wearing longer ones..actually very freeing.
You are my inspiration! I’m going to get to work on my house now (right after I order a pair of Carhartt bib overalls!).
I love how everything is coming together. I can't wait to see what you do with the kitchen.
Great job on the room!!
It certainly is beautiful. You have done an incredible transformation. Enjoy every minute of your cottage in the woods. 😍💕
NEED TO KNOW: when will you be attacking the cottage exterior?! AMPED to see you go to town on the outside! The patio/porch turned out so good!
yes! if she insulated and put up a wall on the outside wall in the porch then it wouldn't get so cold and drafty in the winter. it'd also hide all the nasty electrical wires from the electrical panel.
Another cabin/cottage project done with minimal fuss. Love the choreography and your internal dialogue. Your home continues to evolve. Stay well.😎
This is cottagecore at its literal best.
You really did a great job it's stunning 🏡😊❤️🐶😺
It always comes out beautiful when you put your Heart and Soul into any project. ❤❤❤
Me at 36: I'm gonna be like her when I grow up!
Meat 52!
I'm almost twice her age and feel the same way....
And at 66! Lol. Ahhhh...dream on!

girl, i admire u so much. how are u so creative!?!
i enjoy eating a spaghetti dinner, watching hannah do projects, whilst sitting on the floor. it’s like having dinner w a friend :,)
This comment inspired me to make spaghetti to eat while I watch 😂😂
I had spaghetti for dinner! Now I wish I ate it while watching this video haha
