Great video Renee - you and Taco work so well together - you are so 'natural' with each other - it's lovely to watch. Hope you sold enough to cover your site fees and whatever you spent on your purchases. Have fun - take care 🙂 x x
I love the videos where you & Taco are working together. I'll also be glad when the cooler weather arrives. It's been such a hot Summer here in Southern California. ☺️
You were SO me when, in the middle of your sentence, you said "oooh there's the white dog!" ...."I wonder what his name is....anyway, the dollar box people...." 😊
Hey Renee. This was a great Flea Market of a day. It wasn't so hot yesterday. Today is a little bit warmer. Great finds and glad you sold the rice cooker. God Bless you Renee. Did The Tote Man get to the Flea Market. Having you and Taco Stack's together is amazing. HUGS 🤗❤️. Mari'a. ❤️🤗❤️🤗👍👍👍🌸🌸🪻🌺🌹💕💕
This is a different market then the one the Tote Man goes too. Wish this market had their own Tote Man! I’m looking forward to the fall weather, so enjoying the colder mornings before it gets too hot out! Hope that you are doing well!
I spotted you there yesterday when you got the bicentennial bank bag! I wanted to say HI, but didn't want to interrupt while you were doing your thing! Got to chat with Taco a bit, and got a.mason jar from him. Love when you guys colllab!
I love watching your channel you find all this old items and then you go look back in History, keeps you busy, plus you will never catch up 🤣🤣keep the video,s coming all the best Renee
Not every day at the flea market can be an overwhelming one, nonetheless you made some pretty nice finds like the untouched coupon booklet, the religious cards, the old photographs, the Bicentennial bag and the old candy boxes. And finally you enjoyed your snacks ! 👌 Keep it up, not too hot, but extremely humid over here, next week it should be better. 🌄Greets from GER, U.
I did get a donut, I wasn't going to but I caved in! Now since I purchased my first Bicentennial piece, I cannot start a collection on that... though it would be rather easy to find one of the items from that time every flea market trip! One viewer commented that she remembered seeing an ad for a Bicentennial toilet brush! They really marketed that to everything possible. Hope the weather isn't too unbearable for you over there. I'm ready for fall weather, as I've come to that point in summer when I've had enough of the heat.
I enjoyed this video. It reminded me of when I used to sell at the Canton, Texas flea market. I loved being outside when the mornings would be so cool and calm. The smell from the food vendors was so good. Canton had a lot more shoppers than yours did today. It will pick up again when Fall comes.
Some great finds can be found at these flea markets. I noticed that you found some interesting items. Hopefully next time there might be more sellers and buyers at the next flea market you attend next time. Great video.
In the evening (CET) when I'm sitting in my armchair, I turn on the computer and hope for a video of Paper and Moose - today I was lucky! The finds may not have been much, but they were good, especially the military coupon book and the box from a viewer (your viewers love you). I hope the fact that the van was much emptier on the way back means lots of good sales. Sending best regards with anticipation for the next video Gabriele - Berlin
Enjoyed the video, looked like a good flea Market and I think you got some neat stuff…I liked the Christmas photo We used to set up at a couple flea markets a week, can be hard work but I do miss it.
Enjoyed the video...would love to find the old biblical pics...I've been making cards with them on front...such fun to see you both having a decent sale day...🥰
I loved everytjing you found. I'm glad you did a lot of selling also. I lobe t he bimtage Chrostmas photos. They makee think of our trees. Dad would string the lights then us kids would hang the decorations. Mom would do the rest. She did the tensil so beautifully. Our tree was always so beautiful. So thanks for the memories again. Love ya! Stay safe, healthy, and blessed..😘❤️💞💞🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻✌️
What a beautiful day that was! Your weather looked amazing. My Thrifting Thursday this week was pretty good. It was hot and muggy out, but I managed. Had to slow down my walking pace once or twice. 🌡☀🫀 Rescued a hand embroidered picture and some wooden/pewter Kongetinn pieces. It all sold just after I listed them. I bought books on rosemaling by a very popular author/artist here, but books sit for months, so I don't know why I keep doing it. I had to do some research on a vintage set of pewter handled fruit knives before I listed them and I'm pleasantly surprised, so I'll be able to list those for about $50. I love those little surprises. It turns out, they were made by a Norwegian company that is still in business in the beautiful mountain valley town of Geilo, where they still make each piece by hand. Happy treasure rescuing!
I remember all the Bicentennial goods being advertised in the newspapers but the one that took the cake was a Bicentennial toilet brush!! I kept that ad for years. Guess i gave it up during one of my moves.😂
"Huh. Naked Santa." Another shirt possibility. And Jesus trading cards. But not in top loaders. My wife grew up doing "Sword Drills" in Sunday School - whoever could find a passage in the Bible first - I imagine that might have been done with cards like that (she won lot but had a tabbed Bible). I think the Jeffrey Kirsch Vietnam Album (organ player - every church in Europe) had those five-cent chits like you found. I don't like it when sellers give you photo prices after you've picked out what you want - but sometimes that's the way it goes (I'll find a photo that they didn't know they had - then all of a sudden it's very valuable :).) That cabinet photo of the stairway - in most old houses these days, the dark wood has been painted white. I've stripped seven of our 21 interior doors back to the wood but each door takes a weekend. Great gift of the candy box! Bicentennial seems never to go out of style. If you keep it until 2076 I bet prices will be high :). Thanks for the video - glad you guys sold out (almost) and hav a great Thursday!
2076... I can't even imagine. I actually just did the math on that & there is a possibility that I could see 2076! That would be great! I wonder what TH-cam will be like in 2076... that year seems so odd even looking at it. I had to laugh the other day when I heard someone calling the 1990s the "late 1900s". It's true! Saying the late 1900s makes it sound hundreds of years away, a bit more historical, so now I need to start saying it :0) I've had that happen to me a couple of times with photographs & paper. Sometimes they look at each photo & the price isn't bad, other times it's a song & dance and back the photo goes to the bottom of the pile. The ways of the flea market! 21 doors... curses to whoever decided that white paint over original wood was the "in" thing!
@@PaperandMoose My wife plans to live to be 108 so she can wear a Betsy Ross costume in the Tricentennial parade just as she did in the Bicentennial parade when she was 8. The late 1900s - ha!

Oh really? I usually kid around about always finding Bicentennial items at the flea market or auctions, it's like something you can always count on seeing. Good to know to maybe start picking up the more unusual items!
All I see is "you and taco work so well together"... what everyone realllllllllllly want's to know is... y'all hook up? :D Sorry Jersey Girl here... I have no filter! ~whispers~ Not sorry lol
Maybe I will start seeing if I have anything left. Did save a bicentennial syrup jar as my daughter was born 7-6-1976. She was so surprised when I pointed this out to her as she thought it was just another of what she calls my too many collections.
Hello Renee. Well this was a welcomed break. I’ve been busy all morning so I needed. You know I want to ask you something but it seems a little intrusive, but here goes. You and Taco do the storage units together and you been selling together,no I’m not asking if your together, what I want to know do you split the money up at the end of the day or how’s that work? If it’s none of my business just tell me and I’ll be fine with it . Take care. 🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🫎🫎🫎🫖☕️🫖☕️🫖☕️🫎🫎🫎💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯

Among the Bible cards, at 14:14 there one of a kid who has tossed his baseball bat and ball to the ground chatting up a girl holding a doll, as a dog prances in the foreground. Transition from boy to teenager? I wonder how that one got in there....
I think those that collect are always going to collect, especially if they find what they have been looking for at a price that seems "reasonable" to them.
Love watching you and Taco working what you love together.

Put your boxes under your tables, they keep dry, you don't have to leave the table unattended and you have a box handy for a bulk buy customer.😊
