I had a Flatsy doll about 60 years ago. I played with cut out dolls when I was a kid. I spent many hours cutting and dressing them in their paper outfits. I used to watch Daria with my kids and still love that cartoon. Great video Renee. I enjoyed everything about your trip to the sale. You will do very well as a seller too. ❤🐨
That was an awesome rummage sale🌞I had the sunshine ☀️ family dolls in the 1970’s. Good luck 🍀 listing your treasures. I hope you make big bucks 💵. Stay hydrated and happy thrifting Renee.
Shopping with you is the best, no clutter added in my home. I have enough clutter as I am a junk journal enthusiast and have a hoard of papers of all sorts. Happily my health has been improving and I have been able to get sticky creating lately.
Dearest Renee….I LOVE the term “Honey Pot”….for Steve’s Finds….but even better is when Steve looks out for YOU and YOU looked out for Taco …..paying it forward makes so much sense in our overly buy World…..
✍Thank you Renee👍❣ for this fun video. My husband comes to my PC when he hears the intro. 👏Your honesty is so refreshing! It's fun to watch you dig for that diamond or old scrap of paper. I learn so much from you😘 Looking forward to the next video.👵
Agree about the whole rare thing🙄 Daria! Great finds🎉❤🎉 Don't know if you knew but you can take your Daria poster to like Michael's framing or some other frame shop and they have a dry Mount heat press that they will lay that out on and it will flatten it and take out most of the wrinkles 😉 Oh those paper dolls are so beautiful😍 Yay Junk Steve ❤❤❤
Had no idea about the heat press at Michael's! I'll have to check that out. I had a print professionally framed there years ago and oh my, I when I got the final bill I think I had to pick my jaw up off the floor. It cost more than the print!
We got 2 guinea pigs and had a St Bernard at the same time!! The huge dog was terrified of the guinea pigs and went tearing out the back door when she saw them!! ❤❤❤
We played with the cut-out dolls you would find in McCalls I think it was. And our grandma would help us make extra clothes and extra dolls. She did so much with us. Thanks for more good memories, sweetie. ❤️😘💞💞💞🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻✌️
If I lived near this one looks fun minus all the people. I look forward to you going just so I can see what’s there. 😊. Best wishes on the poster etc great job. I have my paper dolls and was surprised to see Mr Brady and Cindy too. I don’t even remember those. ~ Texas
Fifels hat is out west..🤔🙄😂 Nice finds today Rene and care package from Steve..😍😮 Love the dairy bottle that is local..🤗 I have some dairy bottles froma local dairy and they seem to sell very well in our town/county..🎉 Good luck with your poster.. Take care.👍❤🔥🤙
Hi Renee. Great finds at the sale. Who knows, that poster can be rare and the bottle you found, and you said liquid was in it. That bottle carried milk in it. I remembered milk was delivered in baskets still in the 1950's and 1960's. That bottle can be rare. You have to keep it. But keep looking in the Internet for more info on the bottle. God Bless you Renee. You are truly a trooper to go out in this heat. Later and HUGS 🤗. Maria. 🤗🤗🤗❤️❤️❤️👋👋👋👍👍👍👍🏵️🌻🌸
I have to look around a bit more online to see if I can find out anything about the bottle. I think it was looked over by others because of where it was placed at the sale, but that's okay as it was a win for me! Hope that you had a wonderful weekend!
A super sale for you on that specific date! Very happy for you! Those books are great, especially on a day when there’s deep snow and you are shut in, or ANY day! A fourth grade student I had in my class would check out one of the same books each week from the library and I’ve forgotten the exact title, it was about the most unusual people, places, and things. He was so impressed with the things in that book he never grew tired of looking through it and reading about them! The book was falling apart by the last month of school and the librarian gave it to him! He was SO thrilled with it…never mind the condition of it by that time! I believe he had much of it memorized by then!
You should put books on the poster to try and flatten it some. I don't know if ironing would work. Maybe check online and see if there are some tips. Fun finds.
Great collection of things. I love the Daria poster. I used to watch it after school in the 90s. I just watched it all through again this year on a streaming platform. It is still so good!
Hello Renee. It was nice of the viewer to gift you those things, I so love the 3 pictures of the pup. Really beautiful. You found really cool things at the rummage sale. Did they have a clothing tent? I like the bottle it’s pretty cool that it’s not on eBay and rare. 🤞. The prices seem ok. I’m sure the heat was a bit much in the tents and a lot of people in one tent made it feel worse. But you braved it and found treasures. Take care. 🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🫎🫎🫎🫖☕️🫖☕️🫖☕️🫖☕️🫎🫎🫎💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Twas a hot-in-tents day, but treasures were about to be found! From a very rare MTV poster to paper doll books, all but one a-doll-teraded, and even an antque milk bottle, thankfully no milk was spilled. Well enugh of this fun in puns, I'm off next to watch your storage unit video from a day gone by 😉. Can't wait to see it, hope you do excellent! 👍👍
On the dairy bottle you might try the local museum, preservation society, for Allentown and Lehigh Valley County. They usually have contact information. A visit to local museums and societies usually sparks searches for history you didn’t even know was out there. We used to get our inspiration for historic finds by reading our Antiques Weekly and Antiques Trader newspaper articles. I once found an article that identified my cane marked ‘Stick to Pluto’. It was handed out to guests at French Lick Mineral Springs in Indiana. Pluto water was their proprietary mineral water. Of course, it was a purge for the bowels. They only had outhouses for outdoor emergencies. The canes were placed outside the door to indicate it was occupied. Pluto Water pictured a devil on the label and postcards. You can imagine the fun we had with these symbolisms. Good searching.
A very well organized rummage sale, that´s for sure ! 👌Rarity is always in the eye of the beholder. For example "Alice in Wonderland" as a book, bilingual edition, in English AND German language is not rare over here, but could be hard to find in the States. You own one of these, by the way. 😃 Some pretty neat finds though. The BTS doll should be something for a certain member of my family, she´s a huge K- Pop enthusiast. Max Geisler offered a lot of neat pets a hundred years ago, remember the TV series "Miami Vice" where the protagonists kept an alligator as a pet ?! 😅Anyways: great result of your rummage purchase, so it might be time for an update of your vacation plans for 2024 (perhaps a trip to Yellowstone AND Europe ?!). 🤔Have a good time, beat the heat, and see you on the next one ! 🌅Greets from GER, U.
What K-Pop groups does your family member like? My cousin & I are waiting for Stray Kids to release their tour dates & hoping that they come to NYC. K-Pop music is a whole world of its' own and I'm glad that my cousin introduced me to it. Makes me feel like a teenager again! If only I lived in the early 1900s, I could have easily ordered a cute little monkey! Now it's not quite so easy to have exotic pets! Hope that you also stay cool with your upcoming heat!
@@PaperandMoose Melina (21 years old) told me that she is a huge fan of K-Pop groups like "Day 6" and "EXO", but not that much of "BTS" or "Stray Kids". She went to their concerts in Berlin and Munich and owns tons of fan items. Besides the music, it´s also a business, you know... 🤑
I love watching your channel you seem to just pick up odd items then your of looking at it,s whole life, not 1 at a time, no wonder your busy🤣keep videos coming wait for the next one
My first time finding your channel sweetie so excited to see what your contents like I absolutely love flea markets, garage sales, and storage sheds. I’ve got two 10 x 20’ storage sheds right now I’m trying to condense down.❤❤❤❤❤❤
Enjoyed your video ( as always!) I normally put things on eBay for $9.99 no matter what it is worth or what I paid for it, I figure it will sell for what it is worth But I would think demand for that poster ( and bottle) might be a limited to a small group so maybe start the auction off higher. You can always relist it at a lower price When I was a kid I really wanted a monkey, I saw an add for a spider monkey for $19.99 in the back of a magazine. I pestered and pestered my dad about it finally told me if I got the money I could get it. I cut the neighbors grass, picked up bottles, sold vegetables from my grandfather’s garden and trapped minnows and sold them to the bait shop Finally got the money up and gave it to my dad to order the monkey. Well-organized and big. "One small tent" is as big as the big sales here. Did anyone else see stuff (depending on price) that we'd have bagged so fast and that Renee went right past? They never let us in early here, but I'll bet the heat played into it. BTW - "rare" on eBay means "only one for sale at a tag sale this week"! Actual rarities can be a really tough sale, because no one who knows what it is and what it's worth is looking where you're selling it. Or it's so rare that there's no sales record for the item because nobody's selling them.
Wow! That sale is so well organized ! I'm finally caught up on all your videos 😂 Lol..Flatsy Flatsy..She's flat and that's that .I sang this song to my sister to piss her off!
speaking of ebay... I bought a shirt and some neckwear from ebay that used to belong to the guy from the Mamas & the Papas All the sleeves are brown and the tie is gray 😂
In our line of business/work. Nothing is truly 'rare'. Something might be scarce or hard to come by, but rare, No. So you are correct it is widely overused! 🙂
I always laugh when I am trolling eBay and see something listed as "one-of-a-kind" or "rare" - then on the next page there are two more. Or I have one in my basement. The farthest I will ever go is "uncommon" or "unusual." Hope the poster does well - have to admit I don't usually look at those. With some old panoramic photos I have, I have ironed them on the back under a slightly damp towel to flatten them out - but I assume that's better left to the buyer? In S1:E2 of "Leave It to Beaver," Wally & Beaver get a mail-order alligator and eventually keep it in the wash basin in the basement (unbeknownst to Ward & June). It' discovered by a cleaning lady & they eventually "rehome" it to the local alligator farm (because every midwest town had one 😁). Another excursion where people bring things too you - reminds me of the line in Out of Africa when the train stops to let Robert Redford put his ivory on (it was 1913) and Meryl Streep leans out of one of the cars and says, "Are you quite famous?" Hope you have a great Sunday afternoon ... stay cool ... if you are in the mood to watch a good 4-episode miniseries, you might try, "Mr Bates v. the Post Office." It's unbelievable. Thanks as always for your time in bringing this to us!
I'll add it to my watch list on Prime! (Oppenheimer was recently added to Prime, so that's on my list as well!) A viewer mentioned that Michael's craft store has a heat press that will remove any wrinkles from the poster. I don't know if all stores have that available, but it seems to be a good idea for customers. I feel like I might have ordered Sea-Monkeys in the mail, or maybe just recall seeing the advertisement for them in magazines growing up. I did have a Sea-Monkey tank, but after the first time having them and my hopes crushed of the little guys looking nothing like the ad (haha), no more Sea-Monkeys for me! Wally & the Beav always getting into trouble! That was a great show. Hope that your weekend was relaxing & you're ready for another work week!
I have Max Rusid's 'Human Oddities' book, it cost me $AU5.95 in the late 1970's. It is a bit sun/heat damaged, I doubt it would sell for anything near $100 😁It was published in 1975. I collect old books, mainly Medical - they have to be no later than WW2 and preferably a lot before. I shall covet your tome on Chemical Engineering from afar 🙂I have an early 1900's German to English and vice versa Dictionary, it's very interesting. Have a great week 😃🦘🦘🦘
Looks like the graded VHS sell for that much. If it was original factory sealed, comps are anywhere from $10 to $50. Looks like it depends on what stickers/price tags are on there too.
One Flew was filmed where I live. And, no I don't live at the state hospital. It's got a cool museum. $65 would be good for the poster. I have tons of "rare" posters in not good shape and told it was worth virtually nothing because "it's creased or ripped" and the popular "It's gonna cost money to get framed". Not my problem.
That all too familiar phrase of "it's gonna cost money to...". I personally love when I'm selling at the flea market and everything is marked $1 and I still get complaints about things. "Well, there's a little ding here. Not a fan of the color, but maybe I can repaint it. Would you take 25cents?" It's $1.00!!!
I believe this rummage sale was in PA at Our Lady Queen of Peace church. The Visiting Nurses sale is in NJ in spring and fall. It’s bigger than this one.
Hi, do you have to pay to take things to the dump ? we pay by weight, the more you can sell at the market the less you pay for tippage, crockery and Lp's are a killer, it looks better in the marquees, it must be unbearable outside, good job, thank you

For custom framing at Michael’s, wait for their sale. About 3X a year they run a 70% Off sale. I save up my custom framing for these times.
We got 2 guinea pigs and had a St Bernard at the same time!! The huge dog was terrified of the guinea pigs and went tearing out the back door when she saw them!! ❤❤❤
Awe, poor pup being scared of the guinea pigs! You think it would have been the other way around!
You find the coolest items at these sales. So many treasures.
Gosh Renee you have encouraged me to start looking at the old books and paper items when going to garage sales

My favorite in the 90s was My So-Called Life… my heart still skips a beat at the scene when Jordan holds Angela’s hand in the hallway at school!
Reena you are truly amazing person. I have learnt so much from watching you and taco stacks.
You cracked me up with “Fifel’s is missing his hat it’s - somewhere out there”.
I loved my paperdolls! Those Barbies were so 70s!

Me too in the 60’s ✌️
I did too! I realize now how carefree those days were.
My daughter had that same Daria poster...wish I knew where it went to. I loved the show...we would watch it together..
Thank you you have dome great finds thete x

I’d start from the beginning, she has had an interesting journey 😊
Hi Renee, find yourself a treasure, iron that poster and sell HigH! Have a blessed day 💖✝
Excellente !!!!!! 🤗❤️👍🙋🏻♀️
Enjoyed your video ( as always!)
I normally put things on eBay for $9.99 no matter what it is worth or what I paid for it, I figure it will sell for what it is worth
But I would think demand for that poster ( and bottle) might be a limited to a small group so maybe start the auction off higher. You can always relist it at a lower price
When I was a kid I really wanted a monkey, I saw an add for a spider monkey for $19.99 in the back of a magazine. I pestered and pestered my dad about it finally told me if I got the money I could get it.
I cut the neighbors grass, picked up bottles, sold vegetables from my grandfather’s garden and trapped minnows and sold them to the bait shop
Finally got the money up and gave it to my dad to order the monkey.
Few weeks later I get home from school and my dad has a cardboard box with LIVE MONKEY wrote on the side and a hole chewed in the end
Told me the monkey had escaped somewhere in the postal system but they are looking for it. I was heartbroken, I really wanted that monkey
Eventually we got a refund and I bought a pellet rifle.
Few years ago my mother told me …you know your Dad never bought that monkey? He just faked up the box!
Love your story! A creative idea of your dad’s, which actually could have worked well with a mail order animal company. Lots of disclaimers though! “Not held responsible if animal escapes.” Great point on the auction as well. Let the market decide the worth!
Loved your story! So funny.
Yeah Steve! Good Luck on your selling!

Paper dolls would be great for Junk journals. But for some reason they are going for too much money to use in my journals. Fun video
I found some Mary Engelbreit magazines in a thrift store and they have paper dolls in them!
I was born on the quints birthday. I think I had one of those paper doll books. I will look for it.
Oh my. So much stuff. Do they have a half off sale? What do they do with all the left over stuff? Thanks.
I was wondering the same thing!😊
The sale is 3 days & I believe that on the last day everything is 50% off.
Wow! That sale is so well organized ! I'm finally caught up on all your videos 😂 Lol..Flatsy Flatsy..She's flat and that's that .I sang this song to my sister to piss her off!
😂😂😂😂
That was cute! I caught it, if others didn't. "Somewhere out There".🙂
speaking of ebay...
I bought a shirt and some neckwear from ebay that used to belong to the guy from the Mamas & the Papas
All the sleeves are brown and the tie is gray 😂
You had me there for a second! And now I’ll have that song stuck in my head for the rest of the day 😆
First read I’m asking myself “what does he mean?” It took a 2nd read to get it…..so funny.
The one thing I know about eBay is certain items bring more money on a buyit now than an auction bidding form
Really good video quality. Just like being there. Thanks
Daria rocked 🤣
That was an amazing rummage sale 😊

I think you can steam the poster, and press it so it won't look all messed up; then roll it back up. I would then sell for a mint state $950
Jesus keeps watching over you 🥰🙏🏻
Thank you so much! 😊
YW! Thanks for all your fun vids!
The Fiesta ware is not vintage if it is the printed script writing. The older ones appear to be embossed into the mold when the pieces are formed.🙂
That’s so sweet of him to think of you when he sees things you would like
Looks like on Ebay's version of Terapeak a Daria Sisterhood poster in decent condition sold for $180.00 on Dec 31 2023
Love the Daria poster. Aim high, you can always lower it over time. Go for $400 and see what happens.
Love your finds! You’re just running into Jesus everywhere lately. Storage, garage sales and flea markets. 🎉❤
Get Sully and take him to the swapmeet. He could be your mascot. 🙂
How much was the sealed Harry Potter book set? Very surprised you didn’t buy that to flip if cheap
Love the paper dolls😊
I remember when there use to be one in one of the Magazines , but I don’t remember which Magazine it was. I know it was one of the popular magazines.
Those sealed videos are hard to find... I would have bought the whole lot. Home Alone VHS $100-$150 plus
He's always 'good to find'. But, don't forget to keep him in your heart. 😇
Daria was a good show on MTV 📺
Oh the large Sully plush!! ❤
I wish I knew someone that loved Monsters Inc., he would have made a great gift!
I love DARIA!
His hat is "Somewhere Out There." Well done!
I would absolutely put on ebay your Daria poster for $600 and hope it makes more.....Good Luck.. Love your Channel ❤
I would of liked to be there too shopped.
It was so much stuff there! Good luck with finding the worth of your items.
If I put that bottle on ebay I would start the bidding at $99 Just to see what it would sell for if I wanted to sell a bottle it may go crazy
Auction would be the way to go, let the market determine the value.
Another fun video 😊
was this sale in PA or NJ? Where are these sales advertised?
I think that it is the Visiting Nurse Association sale she has gone to before
She replied to someone else that this was a church rummage sale but didn’t say what state it was.
I believe this rummage sale was in PA at Our Lady Queen of Peace church. The Visiting Nurses sale is in NJ in spring and fall. It’s bigger than this one.
Loved the lobster
Would be great for someone that lives by the beach!
Renee, what flea market do you shop at that has the tote man?
Blue Ridge flea market in Saylorsburg, PA
@@PaperandMoose thank you so much. I live a couple hundred miles away but maybe I’ll take a trip up there one day just to see what it’s like.
That’s a lot of stuff to go through,👏👏👏👍🏻👍🏻💰💰🤠🇬🇧
When we were kids you could order chameleons that would arrive in the mail with a bag of mealy worms.
The mail order animal business must have been something back in the day! I remember when buying “Sea Monkeys” seemed so exotic.
Hi, I haven't seen rummage sales around here. I did go to a garage sale, though. Tina, Al's wife
Our garage sales are hit & miss. Most in my area are filled with baby items. Great for someone that has a newborn & needs to save some money!
Selling animals in the mail.. ( shudders).
Thinking of all of the exotic animals they sold too!
The glass heart dish might have been 'black amethyst ', just hold up to the light.🙂
Delightful❣️😍👍
Daria was great.
That inflatable pumpkin with different faces on each side, i have one just like it from the 1960s.🎃
When I was editing, I asked myself why I didn't pick it up!
Daria was my favorite
How do the vendors get paid for items that were purchased? How do they keep track?
This was a church rummage sale, so all items have been donated and the money goes to the church.
Thanks for answering my questions. Fascinating.
I’m in my late 60’s and I love Daria.
Mail order pets is a bit disturbing, isn’t it? 😬
Especially a mail-order alligator!
It's a good thing Grandma said "no"!

How do I find you on etsy
Hi, do you have to pay to take things to the dump ? we pay by weight, the more you can sell at the market the less you pay for tippage, crockery and Lp's are a killer, it looks better in the marquees, it must be unbearable outside, good job, thank you
I could not understand what you said about something giving you anxiety. Did you say something rolled over?
It was about the holiday coffee mugs stacked on their sides. It looked like an avalanche waiting to happen!
