Flea markets..Hate to say this, but whatnot may have changed the game as well. People can buy to resell and never leave the comfort of their homes (or buy huge pallets of stuff to sell themselves). The reselling game has changed drastically in the last two years. Love your videos and always wish you only the best.
You’re totally right! Whatnot has changed the game for sports cards which is a huge part of whatnot. I still go to shows because they’re fun to be at, but I make most of my money buying cards for real cheap on whatnot and then selling them on eBay. Same goes for all kinds of stuff on there. I’ve even made some money on stuff from Josh!😂
I agree, and it really sucks because you never know if a garage or yard sale is actually going to be used personal goods or a pallet of Chinesium garbage or returns that someone bought from Amazon.
The owners of the flea market don't care if you sell 1 thing or a 100 things or even show up, as long as they got their table rent money. That's how they make their money on the rent. Happens here at a flea market near me. ✌️
That printer wire looks like a standard cable.... you probably have one you can borrow from a computer or monitor hanging around.
Yea that's a standard 110v power cable I have tons here from old obsolete equipment. I have seen them in junk cable bins at thrift stores.
Yes, that's a very standard cable - should be able to pick up from a goodwill or local. Pretty much every printer has that same kind of power cable.

Was going to say exactly this, also known as a IEC cable or in the uk a kettle lead (even though now days kettles have a fixed lead generally!)
You can get these at the goodwill bins for super cheap as well.

After reading some of the comments on here, I'd like to say that it's ok for Josh to vent once in a while. He and Hayley got up early and were ready to do business that day. It must be really annoying to get to that flea market only to find out that the vendors haven't bothered to show up -- just saying

Flea markets are going out slowly....my hometown flea market was the same thing people would set up but they never show up...I get your point...😮😢
I grabbed a Greenworks Pressure Washer at a garage sale 2 weeks ago. It was broken so the guy gave it to ke for $5. I stripped it all the way down except the broken pump. I had 20 parts listed, already sold 7 of them for over $148 profit. Just BOLO.... it only took me about 10 minutes to strip down with a phillips.
And I'm the type of guy that would have about 8 tarps for sale if that frustrated me.enoigh, or if I sawit too many times. Seriously, that's one way to show ppl not to do that.

A thermal printer is definitely a game changer. It saves so much time by not having to cut and tape the mailing labels. I just wish I had gotten one sooner!
If there’s a sign saying reserving with a tarp isn’t allowed, seems like other people who want to sell could just take the tarp off a table, fold it up, put it under the table and set up.

My Rollo printer was a refurbished Rollo printer. It has all sorts of hiccups, but it keeps working for me, so I'm still using it.🎉
I agree with the printer, but I will say, when I was avidly reselling I honestly preferred to have the full paper printer because I could rip it in half and personally hand write a thank you note, it became a system for me.
I definitely can see how the label printer would be quicker but I loved my little personal touch

That's just a simple power cord, any desktop/tower, and many monitors have that cable. Quite a few other power supplies do as well.

I go to the same 2 flea markets you guys do, but almost never go to the older one because I'm only looking for sports card which are almost never there. The older one seems to have the same 12 items over and over again at each booth. Food, tools, junk cellphone cables, broken toys, etc etc 😂. I've sold out there before and getting a table or tables is indeed a nightmare because of the tarp clowns.
Usually if you have a table blocked and you don't show up by a certain time then your table is free game. Also there are vendors who come both Saturday and Sunday every week and if they don't show one day they will still be charged for the previous day they blocked a table on the next day they show up to sell. At least that is my local example how it goes in Ladson, SC.
Have a Munbyn, they are awesome. 1500+ labels and still going strong. Never jammed or had an issue. I have a corded version, can't speak for any wireless options.

Have a flea market in Syracuse NY, rent is $65 for 10 x20' spot, dealers are getting priced out, and the market poorly promotes the Sunday flea vs. their sat. & Thurs nite farmers / craft events. Sat. is jammed ,Thurs is dead...but I did more than what I did on all the platforms last week...
There's a flea market by me that's $35 for a space with a 5-foot table in it if you set up anything else like on the hood of your car or you brought shelves they attempt to extort you for another additional space. The rule is you can only use the table. Seasoned sellers don't fall for it but I bet you they get a bunch of newbies every time

I have been using my Zebra printer for about 6 years and it has been amazing....
The green light comment made me laugh becasue I live in NYC. A lines of cars would be honking you to kingdom come if you don't move the second the light turns green.

Just wanted to say if you're looking into buying a thermal printer, we have had a Phomemo one for several years now and no issues! So that's another good option...Thousands of labels and it's still going strong. I think the current model of the one i have is like 80 dollars or so? (less when they're on sale) and then they have a bluetooth one that's usually around 120 dollars (again, less when they do sales...they had the bluetooth one on sale for 80 something last i saw...)

I have a zebra and the cable you want it just a standard one that is probably connected to your monitor. You can pick them up for pennies at thrift stores or yard sales
At the first table you missed those "miss me" jeans , should definitely remember for next time as a bolo they sell well for $30-40

I have a Dymo 400 and love it! The time it saves would be worth it, but factoring in not having to buy ink and it paid for itself quickly.
Come to Rosemont, IL on a Sunday during the summer. They have a huge fleamarket that could have up to 700 vendors at it any given Sunday.
I love my Rollo. I got mine slightly used on Mercari for like $120 plus it came with a decent amount of labels.
You can find those power cables at every thrift store its a standard fit and is used for computers, monitors ect.

My flea market is the same way. The last time i went to try to sell, I couldnt because of this issue. All the tables had little reserved blocks on them and most of the vendors never even showed up

Theres a flea market at allstate arena near Chicago and it has over 700 vendors every sunday 🔥

A label printer cut my shipping time in half definitely recommend getting one worth the investment for sure!
You can find cords like that all the time in any Amazon bins store. Middle of the week it will cost a buck or two.
On the flip side Harry, less resellers means us normal bargain seeking folks have more opportunities to buy quality products.

Local flea market in Savannah is the same way. 2 years ago I was leaving with 2 or 3 ikea bags filled every time. Now I’m lucky if I can buy something from the regular sellers. Sellers who have been set up for 10 plus years are gone, just isn’t the same.
You should travel to other flea markets. I highly recommend bragg blvd flea market in fayetville NC

There is a Barnyatd Flea market in Greer, too. I think the Tadpole flea market is permanently closed, I'm not really sure. My husband enjoys Barnyard. They make and serve fresh donuts on the weekends. Very good!

I bought a Label Range LP320 for as little as I ship, and it was totally worth it. It was pretty cheap.
If I was trying to sell, I would pick a spot directly next to the sign, neatly fold up the tarp, then just point to the sign when the rule breaker showed up

You should try the Ladson Flea Market down near Charleston. It’s a great one
In the uk we have trading standards officers go around the flea markets, checking the stalls to see if they are selling fake items
This brings me back to the 90s Memphis flea market. A booth my broke sisters and I loved sold well made fake Dooneys. One Saturday while we were looking at several, the vendor offered them all for $10. As soon as we loaded up and left, they packed up and skedaddled. We later saw FBI agents busting fake sellers and realized what happened. 😂 Nowadays, I think fakes fall under Homeland Security.
I know vendors in my area that go to Florida for holiday weekends. You are close enough too that vendors may do that too.
That storage unit set up where they can sell out if is pure genius!!! Not having to set up every week would be amazing.
I use to have a stand like that at my local flea, 20x40 unit for 300 a month open 7-5 saturday-sunday. Absolutely loved it! But moved away and miss it every day!
