Due to the HIGH VOLUME of requests for appraisal and identification, I am unfortunately UNABLE TO RESPOND to these messages. Please feel free to post your items in my facebook group: bit.ly/2BmAheK - บันเทิง
My Irish hart was braking when you walked away from those lovely cups and saucers and the beautiful Waterford crystal vase😢
My dad took me and my brother to spring training every year. The little baseball hats you said were souvenirs, were used as bowls for ice cream sundaes at the ballpark! Seeing them brought back some great memories!
I just found a box full of them in my attic.
The Holland tulip vase was pretty neat. Never seen one like that before
I wish Goodwill would sell pieces that go together all for one price , it's ridiculous selling each piece separately..just does make sense to me.
Some people only want the pieces they're missing or collecting. There's no sense buying a 12 piece set for a butter dish.
In 2016, I was forced to break down a housefull of stuff and move across the country, USA. I sold some, threw out some, and repacked the rest to move 4,000 miles...twice. I salvaged furniture, disposed of everything broken in moving, gave some away, and am still trying to get everything organized. I could've filled half of a Goodwill store. Do yourself a big favor and start earlier to downsize. Give things away to your kids and friends. Donate valuable things like vases to charity auctions. Just how many old blankets and bedspread does 1 house need?
Keep only your most treasured and favorites.
Have better days!
With all the intake of items imagine the employees of goodwill trying to put together what should be sets lol and wonder if they have all the pieces! Lots of things are donated because maybe a piece broke ? Customers have to look Lol. Some items maybe all in a set because the donated items were packed good and all together.
How interesting that you say it does makes sense to you.
2:05 The symbol on the saucer is a Tara Brooch. These were (& can still be) used to secure a cloak or shawl. A Tara Brooch dating from around the year 700 was found in the 1900s and is in the National Museum in Ireland.
My Irish hart was broken when she didn’t buy them 💔
Perfect timing❤
Oh the Tiffany stars and then right after the kitschy bookends!! 🎉🎉🎉
Tifffany and Co in the wild again whoot whoot 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
That deco Holland base is a tulip vase
Cool finds today
Those masks at the beginning (although they didn't excite you, which I understand) were really neat. Just so fun and colorful! Would be awesome decor pieces!
Love the Italian jars
Love the kitch book ends
I cant believe you passed on that tulip vase!!! I saw you taking that with you for sure!
Just came across your channel! I love finding new thrifters and people to watch me and my wife do garage sales and thrifting as well and started doing TH-cam last year!
Love your show..
Great stuff today!
Thank you very much for putting out a video on the Fourth of July evening. I noticed you are about the very few who always puts a video out on the holidays. You are awesome!
Yes most all don’t post all week on a holiday
That is an amazing Goodwill…so much inventory!
The piece from Holland is called a "tulipiere", ot tulip vase.
I wish you bought it too.
damn i've been looking for one for a long time
I thought the rolled clay pottery vase was neat.
What a great shopping at Goodwill. You found some great deals. Please Stay Safe Happy and Healthy Have A Wonderful Day
Thank you so much Jocelyn I really really enjoyed watching you collect all those beautiful pieces and I really really love 🧡🧡🧡🧡 the Tiffany stars ✨, so elegant too. Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤❤❤❤
Loved the video ❤😊.
I wish goodwills were open 24 hours! I have to go I have to go now! Happy 4th from Wisconsin!
This goodwill in full of nice things❤
My favorite antique lady!
Mine too!
*note to self: do not google ‘Tiffany Star’ without ‘safe search’ being on. 😮
Happy 4th of July ❤🎉🎉😊
Can’t believe the Goodwill prices anymore. Considering all their items are donated.
It doesn't really matter that things are donated. Goodwill has bills to pay and employees to pay just like everybody else. Everything has gone up in price.
@@rikkemeek1506 true, good point
Great video 😊
3:38 it looks like a Waterford crystal to me.
I have a pair of those cobalt candle holders that I purchased 20 years ago in Washington State.
I have the same hand blown vase with the heart-shaped opening but in yellow! Found at a Goodwill! 😊
Enjoyed ❤😊
The green smaller vase looks like same color and craftsmanship as Blenko pitcher I have. Maybe it's the "other Blenko".
I found that same little pink sugar/creamer set last year at our local goodwill. My teenage daughter loves the pink glass and is collecting for when she has her own home. I picked it up for about $7 and gifted it to her for Christmas. She loved it. She also loves that 80s/90s Goose stuff that was around, that one i cant figure out lol
I have a 8 piece place setting of the Italian pottery plate pasta bowls and large pasta serving bowl...served tons of pasta in them...I love them and have had a very long time...in my house now...mine are ckickens...
Beautiful Waterford crystal vase - Alana pattern, I think, right before you picked up the etched vases and that white bubble vase. I'd love to have the Waterford vase.
Bless you daily ❤California
The pink tint glass vase is Tiffin
At 2:33, that's a Henrietta bud vase by Jill Henrietta Davis from Providence, RI. The vase is called Circle of Friends. I sold one in purple last July. I love the heart shape opening. I kept it for a while before I was finally able to identify it.
I believe those Tiffany & Co stars are place card holders, but you could also put a picture in them.
hey Jocelyn, some times the smaller Goodwills are luckier than the bigger ones. Especially with nabbing those 1/2 off color tags. I have gotten luckier at smaller ones myself.
I often buy full complete dish sets then list the items separately. I’m usually left with plates or cups when then get redonated. Lots of buyers are only looking for pieces they are missing.
Hello from Mexico 👋
Hurray
The tall wavy vase is Barabara Batz, I believe. They have some value.
Love your videos thank you Sylvia uk.
Her name is Jocelyn!
Thanks
The vase with the heart shaped opening is Circle of Friend vase.
You so could put Wonder Woman on your desk😂💪
We were in this same store the other day and we all got sick from the fragrance in that store. Everything in the Frederick County Maryland Goodwill’s smells like the strong fragrance that their wall machines spray out. If anyone you sell to is allergic to fragrance they couldn’t keep what they bought from you. When Arizona Goodwill bought our Goodwill‘s in Maryland they started those fragrance machines which are very toxic. When we complained recently that the smell was giving us migraines and making us nauseous the cashier said many people complain but management won’t do anything about it. Our family and friends can no longer go there. But there are other thrift stores that aren’t toxic❤
Everything Jocelyn buys gets washed and cleaned before it's shipped out to the buyer.
I also shop at these Maryland goodwills and it’s astonishing how much the fragrance clings to even some hard goods. I bought a glass orla kiely water bottle with a bamboo lid and had to soak it and wash it several times. Lost excitement for reusing it😢 wish they would stop the fragrance
@@rikkemeek1506 Most things we have tried to soak and wash and scrub but the fragrance still doesn’t come out of them just like the other commenter said. You cannot always get the smell out and many people are allergic to fragrance. Love Jocelyn and her channel and family!! We are just suggesting it’s something to be aware of or even put in the ad that it does have a fragrance so people will know. We have returned things bought on eBay because they had a fragrance and they were household items and decorations.
Love the big red vase. 🤗.
Also the hobnail dish with lid.
You did not get either one!!
🤔😢
Good video
I saw a bottle like the one at 2:39 in a store in Erie for $35. They are made in Rhode Island.
You passed on the Holland multiple spouted tulip vase? I made good profit on one of those.
I wonder if that was My greatgrandmother Pittman to my aunt Laurie? It looks like my aunts style too!!
This is the first video where I was like, Oh no, you didn't get that! Can't get everything I know!
JOCELYN!!! PLEASE tell me what parrots you have 😂 I've been dying to know what Haeger is. I seen him briefly in one of your videos where he was in your sunroom and you said you thought maybe he'd been spooked or something. He looked like a severe macaw or some other species of mini macaw, but I couldn't see him very well. I have a Quaker, IRN, and ACG. Your "It has a bird on it" resonates with my soul 😂🤣😂🤣 I say it all of the time 😁
👀 you know what they say if you fine one piece ( Tiffany and Co ) make sure you look for more and found another piece 🎉🎉
Thanx Jos ☮️❤️😁…..🐭🇨🇦
❤
Mine 2 ❤❤ ❤❤❤❤😊😊
😊❤
💗
Hobnail is cute. I would've bought that. Great for a bathroom❤❤
I really liked it, too.
me too
What about the big poodle? 😊
😻🥳🎂4th🧨🎇🎆🗽🇺🇲🦅🐇🕊️🫶🐦🐉04✝️
Keep Rocking 🤙 the good stuff Beautiful people 🤗🖖
Could the green vase be Blenko by chance. The quality looks good and the colour seems right ?
I think you've missed one of the canister on the shelves? It had a blue knob just like the ones you've picked up and it was near the front of the shelves where you picked up the other two canisters. Did anyone else see it?
I saw that too but it looked like a lighter shade of blue to me.
Yep I saw it there. Too bad she missed it
At 11:16 ? It has a different pattern and the lid doesn’t have the blue outline, so it doesn’t seem to be from the same set.
@@connych4796 that’s what I think too.
Oh man Jocelyn, you make me nervous when you stick your items in the top of the cart without putting the blue pad up so nothing slips through the top of the cart. Please start doing this. My hearts just can't take it....hahahaha
🎉🎉🎉
Happy Independence Day from Hartselle Alabama USA!
Hi from Huntsville!
Hi! Nice to see another person from Alabama and so close too. Hope your 4th was very nice.
Hi from Russellville!
@@lisageilhausen1866we had a great day. Could have done without the heat! Lol.
@@beachbumetta Look at North Alabama showing up!!! 😊
Why didn't you take the tulip vase, they are so hard to come by
Goodwills here take the expensive stuff and advertise it on a website and auction it off. Is that done anywhere else?
I love how you admire some of the things from IKEA, Homegoods, etc. Even though you aren't buying them for resale, you acknowledge that these items may be cool or pretty. It shows you are not a snob.
Hi Jocelynz💟💕!!! Love watching you pick out the goods... loved that white, hob nailed container. Love ALOT of your treasures, but am down_......sizing. beautiful cobalt candle holders, also, great taste.. Yes! Grab That!
THANKS u
How as a Laurels BIRTHDAY? ...HAPPY DAY, GOOG TIMES. , HAPPY B_-'DAY SWEET LAUREL3RD,
LO E FROM THE USA
Laurel turned 2 on June 13th🙂
I wonder if the four small tea pots around 10:40 weren’t interesting? If they were old and Chinese, they could be worth something. 😊
Sorry, Japanese kettles, iron cast, someone sold a collection?
Fairy light top?
I’m so glad my Goodwill doesn’t put things in baggies. Things get chipped and broken.
Did you miss some melamine plates at the beginning? those sell for $$
Well that was a pretty good haul. Your side comments are too funny sometimes.
Was sorry you passed on the hobnail covered bowl,
i score everyday at goodwill lololololol
canNOT understand how you did not buy the fish vase
I'd like tippy S💟, How was Laurel's visit I wast a good time, ,(-NO DOUBT). LOVE, Mickey xox
Vietri!!!!!!
Vietri is imported through NC! They have outlet sales which you should sign up for, if nothing else but to learn! Nice trip! Hillsborough, NC. also, Th trend since they have been in business is to mix and match the animal pieces together! They are current bride requests and have been for 30 + years1!!!
also, pronounced vee - et - ree (FYI)
Do you ever get tired of looking?
😍🐟🇮🇹🐟
🙂👍
Are the glass vases and pieces made in china not valuable? Is that why you don’t pick them up?
Most newer things made in china are mass produced and not worth buying for resell. Old chinese items are worth money.
I would have asked if they would sell it to me as a set for $5.95 ( the caddy) it doesn't make sense to pay for each piece separately
Another lady did and they told her no.
@@CrazyLampLady oh ok. Thank you for the reply😚
No sound
lol that says candle not candie (which is actually spelled candy)
She figured it out.
Toothbrush holders gross me out !
I often wonder if ppl from China watch these and think …why do they always put things made in my country back?
:)
So much background noise…hard to hear what J is saying…
What is that banging in the Goodwill
Workers working
@@mamaG4 I usually hear them working in there but today sounded like a construction zone lol
@@gaild3975 it may have been her mic being extra sensitive too. It did sound a little extra cranky in this video. 😂
Hi, I have enjoyed learning so much from you over the last several tears! thank you!I only have two similarly based questions....
as you are obviously grateful for you subscribers who become patrons, why don't you include your eBay, ( on this one I have looked and see Andrew's but not yours.). I cannot find it on eBay as a freestanding shop??? that may very well be me: however this is not new to me. Please advise, when you have availability, and thank you!
Finally, I am curious as to your lack of response to comments. You are also able to learn from us asa community . I believe that is part of what makes your site so charming. Emerson Creek Pottery ( VA made) and Vietri (Italian made) can resourced through NC! also MESDA has great resources for Southern Decorative Arts and lies in the Heart of Old Salem - Moravian village fully restored - not replicated! work renowned! you must come!!
