I've driven a 204bhp with DSG that I hired from Leighton Vans and that was nice (pulled out of a service station on A1 and was easily up to speed by the end of the slip road) so I would imagine these feel genuinely quick and satisfying.
4Motion to make power delivery effortless in all weather conditions, like the one I drove, would be ideal for me also. There's just something about a quick van 😊

Did mine 2 and a half years ago with the Darkside kit. 241bhp and still going strong. Manual gearbox on mine, so no real issues with lag... pulls like a train in 3rd. Just can't get into 2nd gear fast enough. Vans should be this quick.😂

@@craigjames1355 I think the turbo kit was about £2500. Comes complete from Darkside. Look on their website for current prices, or give them a call, they are very helpful. I used a Wagner intercooler £800, fitted all that myself saving labour. upgraded Sachs clutch £1200 fitted. About another £500 ontop for tuning/mapping etc. I had it tuned in the Midlands, those Darkside boys are busy, busy, busy. Was it worth it? If a great big smile on your face is worth it when you drive it for the first time, then absolutely. Hope that helps.

@@craigjames1355 I've not measured the output since, but still drives great. If you drive it normal it's good, you get good fuel economy, just have to remember the turbo is bigger so it doesn't kick in til 2800rpm, compared to 2200rpm for the standard turbo. They are laggy if you are just cruising then want to boot it. Manual works well because you just drop a gear or two. 3rd gear in the manual is where all the fun is. The DSG is better tuned with the van I believe.

Fair play to the Darkside lads working on these newer vdub diesels day in day out they’re an absolute monstrosity 😂 I’m a HGV mechanic and changed my own charge cooler on CUPA takes longer to take the 10 thousand water pipes off then the rest of the job 😂😂

Nice bit of tuning that. I have a 3.0v6 diesel Vito running 290bhp around 700NM as my daily/ work van it's great fun when you roll up on a transporter or transit custom and the owners think they have a fast van 😀
Nice! I currently run 250 hp and 500 nm, and it's already pretty quick. Did you do any hardware mods or strictly software? Sadly there isn't nearly aren't nearly as many aftermarket options for the OM642 as there are for VAG diesels
They are pretty fast!
It has an aftermarket panel filter other than that it's software sent it to the moon. The auto box isn't as sharp as these modem ones but once you've learnt how to drive it it fly's

I’ve had a look one your web regarding an egr delete kit. I seem to have a weird engine though. The top hose from the egr to intercooler pipe has a smaller aluminium/clip connector to the egr than at the other end. As per usual the lugs have worn on egr side on I’ve got zip ties holding it in (the old trick) can I find the correct new pipe ? Nope 😂 it’s 1CO 145 838 E.

Hello. İ got 2015 cfca. Made engine twice during 90000 km. İn cfca engines extra oil cooler will or not? Oil temperature easly passes 120 C

What type of engine is that. my T6 TdI 204hp look different.
Yeah the 204's are CXEB, this is a 150hp which is either CXFA or CXHA
After changing my pants I now have a question. Can this be fitted to the 102 with the 5 speed box? I believe it to be the same engine as the 150?

The 5 speeds are made of chocolate so no, not unless you swap to the 6speeder.

bitdi's can do up to 230hp on a tune but are plagued with egr issues

You didn't bleed fuel injectors before putting all together? Those injectors are very sensitive to run without fuel. They just need 2 seconds without fuel and they are junk.
Pls next time add video from dash how its accelerate.
They already come with calibration fluid in. As you can see in the video as well, it runs mint with no injector issues, even after a few test runs and still no issues
@@DarksideDevelopments I had a problem with injectors in Crafter 2018+. To change glow plugs I had to remove fuel rail. After that I dont bleed system, run engine and he itself died. I tried 2 days start the engine, few technics to bleed fuel and nothing. Injectors were junk. Somebody tried to renew them but this dont help. So I bought 4 new injectors and company that sold me them, told me to bleed system without conected plugs to injectors. When I was 100% sure that fuel is in injectors, I connected plugs and start engine. Everything was great after this. I think without bleeding I would destroy injectors again.

Not only egr problems.
Big thermal issues, oil burning, the turbos are consumables, loss of compression, or even seizing up. And maybe even more I haven't yet heard or read about.
Never ever buy one!!!

Moved back to the UK after 10yrs in Canada and wow we really get short changed in the power department. Everything is 300bhp and up. My wife had a 330bhp buick Mamma mobile and i had 5.7 V8 trucks with 400bhp. Watching this video was cool but 260bhp is a bit disappointing powering a heavy van

This is a diesel. A 5.7 v8 is gas powered
