These guys are from my hometown. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve seen them perform. Have tickets for an upcoming show. Sadly the amazing harmonica player has passed away. There’s some great books written by and about these guys.
They have another hit that was on top of the charts in the middle 70s called Jackie Blue. Give it a listen. They're from Springfield Mo, hence the name Ozark Mountain Daredevils
I got to see these guys open for the Eagles on the Long Run tour. They were considered southern rock at the time. They're big song at the time came out in 1975, it was called Jackie Blue. And they had another fun one called Chicken Train. It was a great time to be a teenager back in the late 70's. 😎☮️

OK random coincidence…. when i was 7, we visited Aunt *Harriette* in *Ozark* country (Northern Arkansas, we flew into Memphis during severe thunderstorms….) i don’t know Harriette & Papi’s, because i live in a different state (Northern California)
Is that a Pioneer SX-990 behind you. Bought one new when I was in Collage. Great sounding unit. Loved mine but, it got 'lost' when I was moving. Great tune. First time here, will check you more often.

First time I saw these guys was at the Ozark Mountain Daredevils Annual Picnic in Springfield. That's also the first time I saw Bocephus.

Pappy & Harriets is in Pioneertown CA, near Joshua Tree CA which is north of Palm Springs... that's where we lived prior to FL.
