Yesss! Never have seen another reaction on this song. Their entire catalogue is amazing. Musicianship brilliant. The more you see and hear the song the more brilliant it is. Absurdist, whimsical, many subtleties, so much to unpack. And a message. Aren't we all chickens on this chicken train of life? Above all hilarious.
I had this 8 track back in the days. Loved it. Being from DEEP Southern Illinois those guys played all over around here, .Cape Girardeau, Paducah, Carbondale, all around, could see them for $2.50 and 25 cent beer at SIU.
Me too. There was a survey of Missouri residents many years as to the preferred pronunciation. The people who live here split 50-50 on the pronunciation. I find myself using both as well.
I grew up listening to this band. Amazing music and amazing musicians.

I saw them live last summer. It's a lot of fun when the whole crowd is clucking.
You can’t go wrong with this band . So many great songs!
this is a good version of this song (and yes, I'm from the area where OMD came from so grew up with them)
It's called an Ozark Mountain mouth bow. He was plucking with his fingers & using his mouth to echo & change sound, but he was not singing.
This was my very first favorite song when I was 5 years old! I'm now 53.
Same and same! Grew up on this and I'm from Missouri. They had some national and even international traction but were huge regionally. Brilliant.
"Jackie Blue" and "If You Want To Get To Heaven" are their best songs. This is a good selection.
There should be a law requiring reactors to view this performance. Coolest thing ever. Just saw a video by the harmonica player, who wrote it.
This was AWESOME!!! Great job you two. ❤
This was a good reaction. I watched it three times already
Should have seen it LIVE, GREAT!
Rip good ol'70's. Rip good old talent and creativity. We have been living in trash since mid 80's.

I saw the band in Regina around 1978 when I was a teenager. Still a fun song.
Thank you for reacting. ❤
A good follow up to that would be Chris Rodrigues and the Spoon Lady!
Great 70's band. Check out Standing on a rock.
Love this song!
Missoura is the west and south part of the state, Missouri is from around St Louis
They know how to have fun ☺️
Why do I want to hear Primus do a version of this song?
You aren't cool until you've heard chicken train.
RIP Steve Cash.
What part of Kansas is camellia's family? I'm in Overland Park.
By Colby and Wichita
Yeehaw!!!!
Born and raised in "Missouree" not "Missourah"!
