You can not live with someone who you have learned…is being dishonest with you. It will kill you. And they will not care. It’s all about them. Always has been. Always will be. Serial cheating is an addiction that becomes worse as time goes by. And if it’s a sex addiction, those are the most difficult addictions to break. Even more difficult that heroin. Do not let someone else’s addiction…destroy YOUR life.

Great video. I lived this after 30 years of marriage. My ex was a compulsive liar & I doubt everything he ever told me. We had kids. He acted like the perfect husband until the mask came off. It’s brutal but now I’m so much better off without him. Find Jesus it’s the only way. God loves you & will never leave you!

I've developed long term health consequences as a result of my husband's addiction. Almost 7 years in he's sober but I'm still waiting for the empathy to show up.

Self-doubt when your partner cheats is probably the norm, even though it's the wrong response. It's even harder to avoid self-doubt when the cheating partner TELLS you that their cheating is your fault (been there, done that). The road back to self-respect and self-value is hard, but so very worth it in the long run.

One of the absolute best videoed I’ve ever seen on what a betrayed partner deals with- thank you so much

Being married to a serial Withholder is about the same. I doubt everything my partner ever told me, since her new narrative has changed so much. I have not cheated although it is 7 years and counting. She seemed to be concerned if I had cheated, but yet the avoidant disconnection and withholding continues. I would almost rather have had her involved in an affair instead.

Haha, calm down lady. Men get told to shut up all and get over it all the time.

Hang in there. Don't listen to that guy. He's ridiculous. I have been there too. Google Michelle Mays.

@@thengokalumbu5606I don't think anyone here would respond to you by telling you to get over it. Especially those of us who are going through this too. We understand how devastating this is. You might check out S-ANON telemeetings if your partner has a sexual addiction. You would be welcomed. Spewing hate towards others won't fix this for you.

can you recommend youtube video about how healthy mind works and what abusive people know about healthy mind so that they are capable of breaking people's healthy minds ? It makes me wonder why abuse works ? Abusers abuse people because they know abuse works on people. How is this possible that abuse works on people ? why people break under the influence of abuse ?
