My grandparents originally moved to Colorado because my grandfather had TB. I grew up in the springs. I cannot believe they built houses on gold hill. That hill had no vegitation growing on it from 1948 when they shut that mine down to when they built houses there. Nothing grew there naturally. Super suss.

right!!! it's absolutely insane that the EPA still has it marked as a superfund site, yet they've developed so much of it.
