Thanks for making the first Canadian video on this thing. Been loving mine so far. We'll probably catch some heat from the 10/22 fanboys but I would way rather shoot my TM22 over my 10/22 any day. I added a muzzle brake just because I had one kicking around and a foam cheek riser. Going to run it in some mini rifle matches.
Haha I do love 10/22s but a TM22 outta the box is pretty awesome. I was gunna throw a reverse fake can on mine once I get one. Where do you go for those rifle matches ? I’ve wanted to do one for a while now
Can’t get the larger mags for 10/22 new anymore since our dipshit government decided to ban 3,000,000 magazines instead of prohibiting 1 pistol that accepts 10/22 mags. Our government is honestly useless.
White, it also comes in white. I'm liking mine alot, but will not be selling my Rugers anytime soon. I've found out with 22LR rifles and pistols its best to try a few different ammo types to see what works best. The only real issue l have is being forced to remove the optic to clean it.
Nice rifle, looks well made, but there is something breaking from buying it, is that we need to remove the optic for cleaning it, loosing everytime the adjustment. So after the cleaning, you are not ready to shoot, straight, you need to re adjust your scope or red dot??
Great video! I know you mentioned in the video you haven't noticed zeroing issues after reassembly, is that still true in your experience? Just wondering because removing the optic rail from the rest of the gun seems to me a recipe for losing zero haha.
From Alaska but visit Canada often since im from there, my brother actually just bought same .22 Derya (but ODgreen)for my daughter B-Day for next time we visit she'll have something to blast since the M&P 15-22 I just bought her is banned in Canada ;(
Hope I'm not too late, a washer should be added between the bolt stop the rubber donut, and the buffer tube to prevent the bolt stop from going into the buffer tube, which also stops the charging handle hitting against the reciever.
Awesome video! Got mine yesterday. To take the plate off the buffer loosen the castle nut, use a rubber mallet and tap the sling plate. It pops off over that flathead. Then you can flip it over or change the buffer. I put a carbine buffer on mine and an adjustable stock. How many failures have you had in those 1000 rounds? Sounds to me people are only having FTFs. Same on your end?
Ohya imma have to try that and my buffer tube was super tight so I just left it. How hard was yours to get off? And maybe like 10 FTF it was mostly out of the one magazine I have. Haven’t had any issues with the 10 rounders just the 25 round ones
Thank u for the video. Good job. I appreciate your laid back common sense style. I always was a marlin 22 fan. Bought a ruger takedown to see what the fuss was about. Had nothing but issues with the mags. Im interested in the tm22 as a takedown. Carry it without the hand guard and barrel nut hand tight. Can u do a range video and shoot on paper?
Thanks for the video, any chance you can tell me the inside diameter of the handguard ?? I want to design a barrel shroud for the TM22 and need to know how big it can be and still slip just inside the hand guard.
@@prairiediseguns lot's of folks an CGN have told me there TM22's have 4 screws and a shroud spacer at the end of the handguard, making the barrel non free floating. Does yours have this ? I didn't see one in your video , it appears the end of your hand guard is open.
10/22 fan here....but that design looks flawed for long term heavy use. Too many little screws with fine threads, too easy to strip. The handguard looks a little fragile.
Dumb question👉🏿 how the sam h3ll do u lube this thing.. not 1 video on lubing this rifle.. only cleaning. 🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️🤣🤣🤣👉🏿lubing tm22 for dummies like myself
Just put a little bit on the rails where the bolt carrier group rides on and that’s all I do really. Everything sticks to the lube and I found most 22s run better with very little lube. That’s just me
Like for ammo your talking? I switched over to aguila for the most part they have a nice selection of grain and styles and fair priced. I do like my CCI’s if the gun is being picky with ammo I run CCI copper round nose.

Theres an adapter made by SBI here in Canada that works well.

That BCL Bison is bonkers!

It’s always been zeroed when I put it back together
This one is on my buy list. Thanks for the great vid.
Great review! I’ve been on the fence about picking one up, I think I’ll go ahead and grab one.
You’ll be glad you did

Yeah I don’t like taking it off to clean it but it hasn’t lost zero at all so it’s been good
Thanks for the video walk through. What spray oil do you recommend for light use on the cleaning you did in this video?
I usually use hoppes 9
Fantastic video and review.
Durable and pretty damm accurate

The laws are rather terrible here but this is a good gun to plink with to say the least
@@prairiediseguns Ya the laws under the 🤡Castro Jr authoritarian regime 💩 ! Anyway should be fun Im sure she'll love ;)

You maybe right , I’m not to worried about marks on the gun. I’ll have to take a look at it

I'm thinking my FTF were caused by the mag, inn conjunction with slightly long ammo. I've had issues with 1 mag and 1 ammo type.

Yeah It would suck to lose that little bolt that holds the hand guard on but yeah I probably could when I get home
Have you got a PAPOOSE ?

If you don’t over torque them you will never have an issue and the handguard is quite robust.
Aluiniun body never torque screws down to tight soon you will strip out the
Threads or not be able to get the screws
Out in time it will happen.
Isn’t dry firing a 22lr bad for the firing pin?
It’s not if you don’t care haha. I try not to but i do it now and again and it’s never been an issue

Im lefty too do its feel easy when its time to reload?
You can practice so it’s not bad I don’t really care for the mag release it’s kinda small but I just strip the mag out always so it’s not a big deal.
What stock/brace is that? Thanks for the video
@mattyjulien It's a stock version, but the newer ones come with an adjustable M4 carbine style. Ive got a video of it.
Which 22 LR do you use ?

What kind of optic is that?
vortex amg gen 2
Looks like a nice one. Might be tacticool enough to get banned soon based on looks.
everything will be eventually
Do you have social media ??
