PrairieDise Guns
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 20 มิ.ย. 2022
Just a guy livin on the prairies who loves to shoot and learn about firearms.
Road to 1000 meters. 750 and 800 meters. Getting close to my goal!
In this video I shoot 750 and 800 meters. I have found a different place to sling lead and it has a nice huge back stop. I have found it much easier to get on target and correct myself. The wind is always blowing up here so it still will be a challenge. Please Like and comment so I can tell my parents and my dog I’m a TH-cam star.

Savage A22 trigger disassembly and reassembly
มุมมอง 133หลายเดือนก่อน
I am disassembling the trigger in a savage A22. One of my early guns I bought and My first trigger I ever took apart. It was super confusing at first so hopefully this video helps at least one person.
Road to 1000 meters continues. 650 and 700 meter accomplished
มุมมอง 1772 หลายเดือนก่อน
In this video I shoot 650 and 700 meters in reverse order if you watch closely enough. But since I am an editing genius I can hide it. (I’m definitely not) stay tuned for more videos. As I am more eager than ever to get that 1000 meters. Please like and comment as it gives me something to do at work
I am at 600 meters of my thousand meter goal. what have I learned so far.
มุมมอง 4235 หลายเดือนก่อน
I challenged myself to shoot a 1000 meters with a 223 with my hand loads and have 2 hits on a 8 inch gong to complete the stage. Once I get to a thousand I will buy myself an impact 4000 as a reward. But It seems to be a challenge as I am learning along the way. I just finished 600 and 650/700 meters is up next. Stay tuned as I am not sure how long it will take to finish this video series. Be s...

And it only took a half hour of you standing there waiting for a fireball...lol there is this amazing feature when editing called trim...
@@wavular go to the bottom of the video and there is an amazing feature where you can drag your finger across the video to find the parts that interest you
Take a look at the firing pin detent to see if it's walking out at all?
It looks like a Siberian srv2
Haha yeah the bugs definitely were not helping in any way
😮
who holds a gun like that by the barrel or butt stock. worse handling ive every seen, looks like u dont even know the tip from the butt. lol
@@CynicalVapsta 😂😂
Is this a cz 600?
Yes
Atta boy
Thanks homie
I’m thankful for the mute button
It‘s interesting for Germany
I think Kray would like this. 👏🏻
Hey bro, sask guy here and a CZ alpha owner, you can open the bolt when the safety is on hold down the bolt remove button as you open bolt , CZ on bro
Also you can straighten the stock just wedge in a small piece or two of cardboard , on the tight side, then apply just a small amount of heat , maybe get it to 90 f, then leave it stand on it butt for a few days, I did this to mine it was the same as yours, worked great ,, iam guessing it came like that cause it sat in a box on its side for months .. good luck hope it works for you
Nice thanks haha the stock bend doesn’t bother me. I just make a mental note of which companies take the time to make sure it’s straight and go on from there haha.

@prairiediseguns I love you daddy

i have this rifle and the optic i have mounted on it is also more expensive than the actual rifle itself 😂 but it’s so accurate! great firearm to pick up

Dumb question👉🏿 how the sam h3ll do u lube this thing.. not 1 video on lubing this rifle.. only cleaning. 🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️🤣🤣🤣👉🏿lubing tm22 for dummies like myself
Just put a little bit on the rails where the bolt carrier group rides on and that’s all I do really. Everything sticks to the lube and I found most 22s run better with very little lube. That’s just me
@@prairiediseguns Thank u 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿 i appreciate u

Joe rogan ~probably a jacked kodiac bear got him
He found out his ladies found a bigger buck, and took the whole bottle down with him.
Yotes..wolves or the cold then scavengers.. hard to tell if it was shot and not found....could be anything..
Hope I'm not too late, a washer should be added between the bolt stop the rubber donut, and the buffer tube to prevent the bolt stop from going into the buffer tube, which also stops the charging handle hitting against the reciever.
You maybe right , I’m not to worried about marks on the gun. I’ll have to take a look at it
The mask has to go!! COVID is not a thing anymore.... AND that is NOT a long range caliber!! Can you hit something with it long range .... sure but that small bullet is going to have a problem with wind and gravity at distance! Good luck with your shooting!! Is that upside down flag on purpose??
Stumbled across your channel, fellow Canadian and gun enthusiasts just starting out 🤙🏻🇨🇦 subbed
Heck yeah 🤌
That is some serious bling on your wrist!!
Hahah knew you’d like it
Found me a Sasky gun tuber. Nice!
Heck yeah hah 🌾
Looks like the flag on your arm is upside down. 🤔
Correct
600m is the max distance for SA80 Its surprisingly easy hit a fig 11 with enough practice thought. Also tried 5.56 on compounds walls at 1K and was surprised how fast it would travel, accuracy was out the window though was more out of interest.
Hope you accomplish your goal. What's the size of the barrel?
Gunna take some work but I hope so to haha and it’s a 24 inch.
That trigger looks nice and light 🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽
I agree CZ makes a nice trigger
Its certainly cool but it doesnt seem practical with pumps and semi autos available. Maybe if you lived somewhere where you couldn't buy them
The Auslof spring loader was made in the depression era when most people only had single shots. Doesn’t make sense now but a 100 years ago it did haha
@@prairiediseguns Still makes sense today as a 20th or 30th gun to add to the collection. lol I love how unique it is.
@@lomparti absolutely haha
@@prairiedisegunshave you tried the cheap challenger shells? Any issues?
@@prairiedisegunsWeird question, but would this work with rifle ammunition as well? I'm working on a story where a character has a big single shot rifle, and I thought it would be cool to bring something like this into the story, but idk if the design could make sense with rounds that aren't flat on the end, like a shotgun shell.
600 yards hip fire the rifle
Aluiniun body never torque screws down to tight soon you will strip out the Threads or not be able to get the screws Out in time it will happen.
Have one, It rocks. It loves IPSC and Steel Challenge.
10/22 fan here....but that design looks flawed for long term heavy use. Too many little screws with fine threads, too easy to strip. The handguard looks a little fragile.
If you don’t over torque them you will never have an issue and the handguard is quite robust.
Weird
Thank you for this quality feed back
Does nobody notice bro lives in heaven?
Haha why you say that?

Which 22 LR do you use ?
Like for ammo your talking? I switched over to aguila for the most part they have a nice selection of grain and styles and fair priced. I do like my CCI’s if the gun is being picky with ammo I run CCI copper round nose.
Im lefty too do its feel easy when its time to reload?
You can practice so it’s not bad I don’t really care for the mag release it’s kinda small but I just strip the mag out always so it’s not a big deal.
Based flag patch
cool
That's the best condition one I've seen! Is that one authentic or a reproduction?
Reproduction from turkey ahha
oh he answered i was gonna say the og alof was on a iver and didnt get that comfy gripstock
M15 x 1 silencers are common in the UK. No issue whatsoever.
I am in liberal Canada so it’s definitely an issue haha
@@prairiediseguns I guess that's one of the drawbacks of buying a European rifle , when you're not in Europe 🤣
Yeah unfortunately ahah
Do you have social media ??
Yes ahha same thing on IG
Is that a modern reproduction of an alofs ?
Correct a Turkish one
@@prairiediseguns that's really cool not a big fan of Turkish made shot guns though had a few friends who have had really bad experiences. But I mean what do you expect from a sub $500 CND shotguns. although it's pretty hard to screw up a single shot. Those guns were pumps and autos
