Finally somebody did all the colors.
My thoughts exactly, I originally ordered the Midnight blue but worried that I will scratch the sides of the USB C slots. I still can't decide though!

@@romeomangubatjr.7832 I had the Midnight on order, cancelled it and gone with silver. Midnight will be the new space grey in terms of popularity, I like to be different so i'm going retro with silver.
I have the midnight blue for two weeks now - using every day and the fingerprints are not a big deal. They are minor. Don't let the reviews scare you. It's a beautiful color.
Man, ty so much, i was in doubt but now i make a desicion. What about scratches, i saw some reviews and they said, that midnight have the same problem as iphone 5(black), are the sides of mac scratching?
The ports area colour starts to chip of and starts reveling a sliver ocular layer so according to my opinion, it’s better to for the space gray or silver and even starlight☺️

@@vladimirkr1285 It has now been a month. And not seeing any scratches. I purchased a clear case (always have kept my laptops in cases) which helps. The inner surface does not show much fingerprint. I looked closely and even felt silly examining the port sites to convince myself there were no scratches. I am very happy with this color and stand by my original review. It's has not bothered me and I like my stuff looking nice.

At first sight, I liked midnight the most but I’m starting to think that starlight is the best color. It looks champagney which is unique and elegant.

Extremely helpful! I really appreciate you filming them in different lighting. It gave me an idea of what each of them looked like as the light and shade fell on them.
I needed to know how they look on tree branches, no other reviewer did that.

Awesome video! Love all the angles, side by sid comparisons and situational shots. I should've just watched this instead of braving the crowds at the Apple Store on Black Friday. It was between Silver or Starlight for me. Ended up coming home to order the silver. I love how the black keyboard pops against the silver chasis and it's just the perfect clean and timeless look for a Macbook.

Courier just came to collect my midnight Macbook Air M2.
Initially was willing to put up with the fingerprints but it got too much hassle cleaning the casing after each use.
Have had many macbooks over the years in silver, space grey and gold. For me, the space grey is too common and whilst it still looks great, have decided to order the starlight.
My previous macbook air m1 was gold and adored it, so starlight for me is a happy medium.
Totally agree. It would be great if they did an oleophobic coating for the Midnight. Personally, I went with SIlver because of the same concerns, but I have to admit Midnight is gorgeous.
Thank you for sharing the four colour choices. Really helped me with the decision. Though Midnight would have been my choice, I went for Starlight. Just ordered it so we’ll see how well I like it. In store, it looked very clean and sleek.

@@mystickal6342 did you go for starlight? It was my fav since the beginning. I actually got it yesterday and ..... it depends where you'll put it. I was shocked when I had to admit that sometimes it looks like it came out of the household of hard smokers or from the cellar after a tornado with chemical weapons. It is still really marvelous color but I do believe ill change it for space grey. Just don't want to have any thought that it looks worn or like a menu in a cheap spanisch restaurant that its damaged by the sunlight.
Its like silver in a sunlight on the beach. actually still my fav ....but ... I still have a week to change my mind.

This video is such a great idea and it's so helpful - thank you very much! I had the chance to see and compare in real life the new MBA in midnight blue and space grey and I have to say that while the midnight color is absolutely gorgeous, it is also the ultimate fingerprint and smudge magnet. And, rather surprisingly for me, so is space grey, but to a lesser extent. They did no have there the silver and starlight so I cannot comment on those.

Just bought the MacBook Air M2 in Silver, a family member has the Midnight Blue and as such as it looks nice the fingerprints on it is a big deal for me. No regrets with the Silver one

Best resource for showing all the colors. Apple should pay you for doing their work. All the different backgrounds and lighting conditions helped me decide. Thank you for explaining the starlight color and mentioning lighter colors show less fingerprints.

Haven't ordered one yet but tempted...if I do, I think it will be silver. It's just such a timeless color. I especially like how the black keys and bezel contrast with it, it's like the classic Apple look.

Silver looks the best.
I picked space gray because I wanted something darker but liked the contrast of the keys and main body. It was a happy medium between silver and midnight for me
