      Correct. Involuntary manslaughter is when someone unintentionally gets someone killed through reckless and negligent behavior. Voluntary manslaughter, on the other hand, is when you have full intentions on killing someone, but it wasn't premeditated; think "in the heat of the moment" kind of caused death.

      @@q-tip4723 It's always interested me that it's not considered murder to intentionally kill someone if it was in the "heat of the moment" - like I get the logic that if it's planned you've considered your actions overtime where in the heat of the moment you might act without truly thinking but it's just interesting to think about

    • @ratholin
      @ratholin 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@q-tip4723 Nope you can't have intent. any intent is murder 2. Manslaughter is when you kill without intent. Like if I get mad and punch you and then you die but I didn't mean to kill you that's manslaughter. But if I get pissed off and pull a weapon and kill you that shows intent, so murder 2. Now if I go back to my car get a weapon and kill you. That's murder 1.

    I love the thugs in Arkham Origins. I love their banter and I love how when you're about to take out the last thug in a combat encounter, they always have one final line, before being knocked out. I kind of wish that Rocksteady brought that back for Arkham Knight. It would have been funny to hear the militia trying to bargain with or to hear them beg for mercy from Batman before being taken out, after all the supercilious banter they spew throughout.
