How to Open Mercedes B200 Bonnet/Hood

There is a RED lever under the driver's side. Pull that that to hear the Bonnet Release Click. It's rather well hidden even when you know roughly where it is (you have to look up)!
Then go to the front of the car and locate the T-shaped Plastic Lever which protrudes from the front Grill
Lift the bonnet/hood and secure with the hood prop .
Close the Hood/Bonnet
Unhook the rod and fasten it to the clip
Hold the front edge of the hood with one hand, slightly push it upward, and unhook the prop rod with your other hand. Lower the rod and secure it in place-there should be a small clip (the hood prop rod clip) near the front of the engine compartment.
Closing the Bonnet/Hood: . I find the best way to close it is to drop it from about a foot/20 cm.
URGENT/SAFETY
Please ensure that you have properly closed your bonnet , double check it every time
Press a couple of times check everything aligned. Here is some advice from a car website: With both hands, gently pull the hood down. Leave about a foot of space before dropping the hood. Make sure that it is fastened securely.

@@R6Handler Our B200 doesn't close that easy either a high drop works though
