Stuck Bonnet, No Tools? No Problem!

How to free your stuck bonnet on your car. The car featured is a Mercedes Benz CLS 250! However, it dose not matter as most bonnets open the same! Please leave a comment if you freed your bonnet this way and also if you get stuck at any point and I will get back to you! Thanks again for watching

Good video, very common problem evidently. Mine isn't stuck shut but is definitely causing my bonnet not to sit flush on the drivers side. Tried wd40 which loosened it up slightly, will try degreaser instead next

Thank you it worked. But I tied a sting to the bonnet release and steering wheel to keep it pulled because I was on my own. Thanks again it saved me money.

@@TheTriumphGuy101 I used kitchen cleaner to melt the grease and use cooking oil to lubricant the latch. That's all I had to hand. Later I'll buy some grease and re grease it. Thanks again, I can't help walking around with a smile on my face thanks to your good self.

@@TheTriumphGuy101 Thanks for the reply. I won't pull it. It is stuck on the passenger side. I must have banged it by the latch a good fifty times while my son pulled the lever. I've even tried spraying 3-in-one Silicone Lubricant but there isn't any real gap on the side that is stuck.

Just hit it on the top till it opens and then put wd40 on the latch after you open the bonnet
