Another great, calming video. I actually did pre-order the steam deck and got it a few months ago. Really enjoy using it. If I could make a small suggestion - make sure the bottom and top of the steam deck are unobstructed when you play - really helps to reduce heat buildup. (the retired IT Guy in me jumps out frequently 😉)

Catplant. Thank you for unboxing the Steam Deck Oled handheld. It has a 50 Watt battery for longer battery life and it charges faster. The new thumbstick material feels good. The graphics on the Oled Steam Deck look great on the video game Resident Evil. I like the suspense and the zombies in this game. The fan was doing really good. It was not loud at all. I was quite impressed compared to the original Steam Deck. There is much less noise. Playing the video game Unpacking was also fun. Thank you for showing me your new plushie while Unpacking. It is super cute. Baldur’s Gate is also my favorite game. Everything is loading pretty fast on the Oled Steam Deck. Fires of Rubicon runs really well. There are zero issues and the screen is pretty bright zoom zoom zoom. That was the first time I played the game Townscaper. It felt really nice yellow yellow yellow blue blue blue and it goes on forever. The Yakusa video game was very fun and the screen was very bright and vibrant. You are so skillful Catplant. I hope we can play again sometime soon.

Hey great content, i got a tip as an audio engineer, have u tried a high pass filter with just small db per octave roll off like 6db to 12db max. You have a huge bump between 50 to 110 hz on the frequency spectrum, and it gets a bit boomy sometimes especially with speech, you could clear it up with that high pass filter, it try it around 100 hz with like i said a 6 to 12 db per octave roll off, see how that sounds in comparison to your current audio.

I really do think the OLED is great but honestly it isn't a necessary upgrade if I have the LCD version (but for the price it's really good) ally is good but the battery was pretty bad. Honestly I'd recommend the Lenovo legion go over them both but it does cost a bit more. The screen is just perfection and the battery life is better than the rog. They are all good options ☺️
Great video very chilled i like it :) and also help me with my thoughts on getting one of these... and im gonna get the 512gb OLED model its $792 canadian money. but I quit weed, smoking or vaping and have money saved up as I don't spend on those bad habits.. I know its expensive the steam deck, but I mainly just play games on Steam on PC and i'm a big Linux user and this device really aims towards me a lot.. I also like to just be a lazy dude and sit around on the couch or laying on my bed so this device would be good for comfort and relaxing after a hard day of work eh.... idk I hope it's worth it. My only concern with OLED devices is screen burn in. I heard that lowering the brightness a little reduces the chance of it happening.
