I respect that Lexus prioritizes research, development and engineering over gimmicky tech features that only impress non car enthusiasts.

I chose the LS500 over the S560 due to reliability and the value it will hold. I plan on keeping it long term. I’ve had a few Mercedes in the past, great cars but just unreliable and very expensive to repair. Lexus IS a smarter but hands down.

You should not review this as it is Camry while you go through the back seat as it is ok and good head room. This is a luxury car but you did not show us where the money is. You need to compare the luxuary that the backseat provide to S class. Does it have message in the back seat, does it have entertainment system control. Things of this nature.

@@kclark8080 it's good competetion and customers win. Like you pointed out, there are areas the S class out shines the LS. Though I believe the TTV6 accelarates on par with the Benz V8. It's awesome Benz gives many variations from v6, hybrid, all the way to the Maybach v12.
At the same time, I doubt Lexus lacks in tech department as they led the industry in terms of hybrid power, transmission tech, etc... At the end of the day, it's a very good thing both cars do exist.
