Hi Darren, I just wanted to thank you for all your great videos. Your trouble shoot video on a Suburban water saved me paying a repair guy and it guided me on how to check and replace the on/off switch. The water is working once again and just cost me the price of a new switch. Thanks so much for terrific support! Dennis
Great video. That’s the best the sound has been on your live streams. Keep it like that. The old ones are hard to hear. Thanks for all the great information and knowledge you share.
Darren, you did a great job I enjoy those comments I work on a lot of my own stuff I’ve been living in these RVs 25 years I have a new redwood is quite a sweet RV but yeah I don’t color RV guy because I can do it all myself I’m a good handyman retired heavy equipment, operator mechanics I’ve done quite a bit of my life that Lasko pipeline anyway Darrall you do a great job. Enjoy your videos. Keep it up buddy.
Hi Darin and wifey, Please do more videos of this for all of us novices. I also love to watch your live-in-the-field videos, but sometimes the questions that are asked /answered in this format are the small things that seemingly slip by as you race the clock or fall on the editing floor . thanks God Bless you and yours.
Great information, Yes I like your format. Do you need a pressure relief valve for a tankless water heater. I'm noticing that some brands are shipping tankless water heaters with an out a pressure relieve valve.
Darren, thanks for your videos, just helping a friend with his suburban 12 gallon water heater he just replaced with a new model because he would get an excess amount of LPG and would get a boom when heater ignites sometimes extinguishing the flame. This would happen sporadically. The new heater also has done the same. The igniter looks good 1/8". Has this been addressed in any of your videos? ( the boom on ignition.) Thanks John Stockamp, Patron.
Horrible burning smell when I flip on breaker switch? It was working fine, then stopped heating water. I left it alone not having funds to have it repaired. After a month I noticed a strange smell like the brakes on a car burning metal. That evening I noticed the hot water was back. When it kicked back on to heat up again I noticed the same smell but worse. I turned the breaker off. What can I look for to repair this situation? Thanks for all your help and info.
Your information is user friendly and clear. How can I contact your company to get your thoughts on a situation regarding our suburban water heater SW6D. I’ve been to a few RV dealers and they haven’t been able to resolve this minor problem. Thanks
We have a TH-cam live stream starting at 4:30 p.m. Pacific time this Friday. That would be a great time to ask your question. You can send an email to Tricia at Info@myrvworks.com and ask your question there and she'll work to get it in the show in queue.
Question about suburban w/h winterization. Is it necessary to try and remove all residual water from the bottom of the tank? Also, once winterized is it best to leave the anode rod plug out or screw back in to seal tank? Thanks for your help!
Hi Darin, how do I requests your services?? I live in Ravensdale. Our fridge just stopped working a few days ago. I did my best to check it out myself after watching your videos but with no luck. Thank you!
Hello Darren, Maybe an unusual question but here it goes. Is there any reason why I would have 115volts at the circuit breaker and only 56volts at the end of the feed before it gets to the switch?
If you have a Suburban water heater, then the 120 volt will still operate that without any DC. If you have a Dometic or Atwood water heater, you do need the 12 volts to run the brain which will then operate the 120 volt heating element.
@@MyRVWorks thank you. I guess what I was really trying to ask, is it unsafe to stay connected to shore power with a bad converter. After watching another one of your videos, it's pretty clear I'm replacing my converter. At the cost of $770.😬 We have a 2014 Fuzion toy hauler. I have power to the microwave like you showed in your video, but no power to my receptacles, except when I turn on the solar and the inverter gives me power to the receptacles and fridge.
My element has continuity. 125 volts when switched on. The yellow wire has 12 volts DC. Why am I not getting hot water. Don't use propane because of a leak.
Good format but too long a video. You tend to answer a question two or three times. If you cut it down, it would be more informative. But I really appreciate your knowledge.

I wish you could do a video on Dometic A/C and thermostats like your furnace videos. Thanks.

Tricia is the office staff and Anne is the wife. Just wanted to make that clarification! Thanks for watching!
I love my Truma Instant water heater. The Atwood model I previously had never did work properly. Several RV Service visits could not fix it.

Good Channel content, keep It up my rvworks!
My water heater just started to disperse from relief valve. Did notice it sounded like water was boiling.
Great format!!

I purchased Camco anode rod’s for an Atwood water heater, what benefits will I gain with using an anode rod?
Great information. Thanks Don

You may have an open neutral.
Hi Darren, should I unplug from shore power if my converter has quit working? Or is shore power still powering my hot water heater?

@@MyRVWorksif I have 120 volts coming into my Atwood element. And going out. So it should have hot water. What am I missing
Very helpful vidio. Loved it!!!!!
Most of those immersion heating elements will over heat and burn out if not immersed when on.

I personally like his teaching style, mentioning a concept once introduces it, reiterating it makes it stick
Great video, thanks and more please
