I do something completely different and I don't have Lithium batteries! I learned that's Deep Cycle batteries don't last very long, maybe 1 year for Solar & I don't use just any Starting battery. I use Marine Start batteries for both Starting my van's engine and for deep Cycle from my 2 Thunderbolt Solar Panels, each 100 Watt on the roof!! Works fine for me with just 2 Panels!!!
Darren, I have an issue of something drawing .25 amps on our chassis battery in our 2018 Jayco Alante. I did not have time to track the issue down and fix it. So, the problem is it runs down in storage. Since I’m plugging the rig into a 20 amp circuit and extension cord, I did not want to run another cord out and have to buy a battery charger. After some pondering and testing, I located the solenoid that jumps the house batteries to the chassis battery when the button is pressed. So, after careful consideration, I purchased a 30 ampere DC resettable circuit breaker. I installed (2) 4” pieces of #10 cu wire, one from each post of the solenoid to the breaker. Now the converter is charging all three batteries. When I get ready to unplug the rig, I trip the breaker. Since I already had the 8” of wire, the total cost was $10 and change. Hopefully next spring I can track down the cause of the .25 amp drain! Happy Holidays! Kevin
Awesome videos! I have learned so much. Just did maintenance on my Atwood 8940-III-DCLP… burner chamber rusted out, spark mech was also touching basket! Thanks.
Hummm...I have the ability to hook up to power in my storage and have always "assumed" that this would also trickle charge my chassis battery in addition to keeping my house batteries topped up. I've never had a problem starting the chassis even after long storage but did just recently have the chassis battery completely fail even though it's only a couple of years old. Am I just delusional?

Thanks for the information. I learned a few things.
I have solar on my TT I let them charge all winter, even with snow on them it maintains it as long as its not to deep. Lead Acid batteries
I have a 30 watt solar through the OBD port on my small class C., and the house batteries in my garage on a tender.
I have a 2015 travel trailer. Do i need to get a new inverter if I put lithium batteries in?
A 200 amp alternator….hmmm 🤔
