  • This is the story of how I ended up moving to a vast northern wilderness, 1,400 km away from home, where I could be surrounded by endless forests, lakes, waterfalls, stars, and an ancient mountain range.
I can finally breathe here, and I'm so happy I'm able to share this with you.
    Thank you for watching 💚🌲🏞
(don’t forget to share this with your grandma!! 🌿✨)
    ‣ The land I am now inhabiting is traditional Anishinabewaki land.
If you also live on Turtle Island, I encourage you to use the Native Land atlas to find out more about the land you are living on, and who the original caretakers are:

i'd live some place where people were more scarce and nature was more insistent - the edge of an ocean or inland sea, up in the mountains, deep in a forest. it tends to sharpen the focus on what is really important and just how much compromise is required to really live well.

Be closer to nature and less people around me. I live in the Netherlands. We have 17 million people in this small country. Don’t get me wrong there is a lot what is beautiful here but space is very very expensive. Also houses are insanely expensive. Thankfully I own an apartment which I can sell.
I want to move to Sweden with my three dogs, two cats and my horse. My adult daughter , 21, came up with the idea three years ago but I thought it was impossible. Now it seems it isn’t.
We are not going to live together but we’re going to live both in Sweden! I’m now in the process of learning the language and everything that comes with a big move like this. Hopefully I’ll be in Sweden in 2022!! 🍀🙏🏼🤞🏼
I’m very sorry for your loss of your beautiful mother. I send you my condolences 🧡🌿🍁

Dear Gwendenyle, I can not stop crying! I just found your channel and you took my heart forever. I am truly sorry for your lost! The content, the calminess and the hope that you are spreading are the most beautiful thing that happened to me last months. Your journey and my are so so similar, I just watched me and my life through your eyes. And I feel without knowing you that you are this kind of person, a friend that I am searching for years and I never met. I know Johhna Jinton, Kalle Flodin and many other youtubers but I saw some kind of fresh magic in you. Please keep making your videos and be yourself! Your channel is my paralel world to survive terrible big city life and constant illness and health issues. I hope one day to be able to live close to the forest just like you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Stay healthy & beautiful soul as you are. Warm hugs, Vicky from small Bulgaria ♡

I am so sorry for your loss. I was saying to myself, since you had not had a video in a while," I know something happened to her Mom" and my intuition was right. I lost my Mom to cancer when I was 28 or 29, so I understand what you are going through. I am so glad you have Nature to retreat to and find solace. Your Mom is now a Light Warrior on the other side looking out for you and your family. She will always be with you, wherever you go! Do you dream about her? I have had many dreams of visiting my Mom in some other dimension and I am so grateful for those visits. I actually had a huge amber and blue colored orb show up in my room not too long after she passed. I knew it was her. My thoughts and prayers are with you! Thank you for your wonderful and beautiful videos!

I am so sorry to hear about your loss Gwendolyn. I cannot imagine the depth of pain of losing someone so deeply important to you. I know you don’t know me but I will be thinking of your loss now too as I think of the loss of my grandmother. Thank you for your vulnerability.
Also I think it’s amazing you’re pursing a forestry degree! I think marching to the beat of your own drum rather than following in the footsteps of those in cabins is an awesome move. Do you know?
I knew you yesterday through Kalle and Christine, I wanted to sleep so I put it in my mind to find you today..
I searched for your name and found you, the strange thing, I chose to watch the lessons from your mom' video first,
Even they mentioned this video yesterday, not the other!
Your life in North is peaceful, I hoped your mother knew about it too!
But, as I experienced something like that before 6months, I knew it's so tough and hard especially if this person is so kind and precious...
But, what I've realized, it didn't change anything to stuck in, it was 6months difficult ones, but I didn't change anything
So, I've learned to learn from that and try to keep going and pray for her...
The last thing I want you to know, I'll try to be with you always!
Sadly, I can't tell you don't be sad
But let it go.. try.. be grateful for anything, and for simple things (as your mom said!)

I feel the same way as you I guess
I‘ve been dealing with depression for 7years now (I’m turning 20 next week) and I just had enough. I constantly feel that everything I‘m doing is wrong, that I shouldn’t be here in the city studying in one of the world’s best but also hardest university (it was the only one that offered environmental sciene)
    I don’t see my future

Oh wow this really spoke to me 😭 I'm not that much older than you, only by a few years, and I can relate so much to what you've said. I was chronically depressed from age 11 onward. Things didn't get better for me until I got away from my home for a bit and started my own life according to what I wanted to do. Being a young person can be so confusing and all over the place in terms of how you feel about yourself in your place in this world. I wish I could say more to you here, but just know that you are not alone in what you're feeling. It's normal for it to feel hard to make decisions that you know will have other consequences, but at the end of the day, the ONLY thing that matters is your time and your wellbeing. That is all we really have in this life. Stay strong please ❤

@@gwendelyne thank you for your answer❤️ I was really down when I wrote this, actually I do have some moments in my life now where I really feel happy, not everything is bad. I guess I just have to focus on the good things in my life that I have now because I can’t make good decisions about it when I’m feeling depressed. Maybe I just have to trust that everything will work out, because I can’t really change my situation now (or maybe I just don’t feel ready to really change it upside down)

can i ask how do you support yourself financially there? is it through youtube income from your videos or something else? i dream of leaving the city too and live close to nature although maybe not in a cabin but definitely countryside. I crave the silence. beauty and spaciousness that nature provides, plus the health benefits of having a natural lifestyle
