Exploring Thailand's Drag Racing Culture (7 Second Diesel Trucks with 4 Cylinders!)
ฝัง

- Over 30 hours of travel and we're in Bangkok to film 8 second diesel trucks! Whats crazy is that these trucks are running 8's with tiny 4 cylinder diesel engines and their doing it on a track with virtually no prep on it. Drag Racing in Southeast Asia is very different than it is in the U.S. and we we're not expecting it one bit!
Thanks to Chad at @CBMedia404 for showing me the ropes! Check out his channel!

For folks who don't know,, the people, the scenery, the amazing beaches,, the food,, EVERYTHING about a trip to Thailand is - on a scale of one to ten - a solid fifteen!
We're so sorry for the loss of your dad brother, I'm praying for you all, keep up the good work and keep pushing forward. You guys are great, and you bring us the best coverage of the racing community, even from across the pond, thanks bro love ya man
Thank you Brandon!
9:33 whatever is making that 2jz sound that good is crazy
that's typical 2jz sound with racing cam, no?
I'm sorry for your loss, brother. I feel like Thailand is probably the best place you could go after losing someone like that. That country just helps people mentally center themselves. Also, amazing video start to finish. One hell of a trip!
I appreciate it, the country is so amazing, friendly, and fun
Sorry for your loss Sir. Been a 1320 fan for a long time.
Nothing but love and keep doing your thing
Let me explain the alignment, positive camber in the rear helps because when the cars squats during launch it induces negative camber. What they are doing is to cancel out the negative camber and the rear tires basically end at 0 camber and making full contact.
Yep, less anti squat.
Thailand gets a bad rap. It seems like such a cool place, the culture, the food, the dedication to modifying everything. Even the fishing is amazing. It's so cool that 1320 is documenting the motorsports of such a wild place.
I'm so sorry for your loss, I'm happy you keep smiling. Thailand looks wild and so friendly. Thanks for your enthusiasm and amazing content.
Sorry for your loss, you’re making me want to visit Thailand. The people seem awesome, the culture, the cars trucks and bikes are next level, these guys love going fast and it shows. I dig their slower, calm demeanor, America is always in too big of a hurry, we’re obsessed with productivity, speed and efficiency but they look happier than we are, the rain came and they didn’t complain, they waited and fixed the situation, in America 90% of the crowd would’ve left immediately and they would’ve rescheduled the race for some off weekend during the fall, I wish people would calm the heck down in the states. Good stuff, Thailand. 👍
Let’s go.. 4 cylinder diesel engine Thailand so fast. 🚀
Thank you for video brother🙏🏼🔥🖤
Whist it is horrible to lose a parent, you honored them by living your life the way that you promised them you would. Couldn't be more stoked to see you had an awesome time in Thailand!
@cbmedia my condolences for your loss. I’m glad you got to meet up with Chad! He’s got a great channel!

I am very sorry to hear about your loss. I understand how hard the loss of a parent is. There is only a few things people cannot take from you. Memories being the number one.. Cherish those cherished memories, and keep his spirit going !
Sorry to hear about your Father, I’m sure he’s glad you took the trip too!!
Those turbo diesel trucks were fascinating! Really great coverage out there, these videos were awesome 💪🏻
Thank you for sharing this with us Kyle! Such a great video. Sorry for your loss.
Sorry about your loss Kyle… My dads the reason for my drag racing obsession! My dad passed in June and nothings been the same since..
I know how you feel I lost my dad in December 2021 but I love watching your channel and I watch cb media as well from Thailand
I dare say that the engine and car design decorations in Thailand are the coolest.👍
Sorry for your loss man. My favorite thing about Thais are their respect for each other. You can see even not interacting with you they are conscious of what you and others are doing and don't want to be in the way.
So sorry for your loss man. Thats truelly aweful but im sure he went to a wonderful place!! Keep on going just like they would want you to. We all love you!!!!
My condolences Kyle! 🙏 you bring joy to do many people going through hard times, so hopefully the fans can provide that for you. 🤘🔥 that’s a dope track
So sorry to hear about your Father passing. Prayers for comfort!!! You are truley holding to what your parents told you to do!!!. The videos never cease to amaze me!!! Keep doing what you do !!!!
The laugh made the video because Kyle usually doesn't lose it like that 😂 but I can only think of that being your dad there to give you that genuine laugh to get you through your loss. I'm 34 and lost my mom 2yrs ago so I know what you're going through but you are one awesome guy. Keep up the amazing videos and keep smiling and enjoying cars.

So cool to see, I love Chad's content and have been watching both of you guys for years. \m/
This is def my fav 1320 video. Amazing trip, looked very fun!
I can’t get over how cool this is. Thank you 1320 for this and the Stockholm videos and Australia and Japan. You guys have opened up and exposed us to global car hobby crazy action. Who would have ever thought some dudes from Nebraska would break ground like you did. Bravo!!! And now I’m going to go buy some damn merch! Seriously thank you!
Thailand was already on my list of places to visit, but even more now. Place looks wild!
I’m sure dad is looking down with a smile on his face just seeing you and your crew. Have a good time. Sorry for your loss brother.
So sorry for your loss Kyle, love from down under
Sorry to hear that, i loss my dad in 97 to chronic fatigue syndrome with fibre myalgia. People didn't know much about them and we barely could afford the specialests. I had to drop many classes and help my mother provide for my little sister. It's hard to lose someone so very close to you, he was the reason why cars, motorcycles and racing is so special to me. Keep your head up and stay strong, you have us fans, coworkers and family that stands by you.😎🤗
My condolences Kyle! 😔
Great content as always!! 👍
Keep smiling sir. I know myself and many others can relate to your situation. While I could completely understand if you cancelled this trip/event, your dedication is appreciated as well as the content you produce. Take time to heal and take care of yourself and family if needed. We will all be here for you when you are ready.
Respect.
Im sorry for you loss, we all appreciate you and love you, thank you for everything. Losing a parent sucks and hurts a lot. When I lost my mom to cancer it killed me but they're in such an amazing place now
That was super dope to see you and Chad doing Thailand bad ass
This is the hands down the most fun trip Kyle has ever had and it couldn't have came at a better time for him love you Kyle for all the wonderful vibes and videos you have brought us for all these years!

Sorry to hear about you pops Kyle. I know what its like to lose a parent that supports and loves you. He was always proud of you and I guarentee he'd be happy you pushed yourself to do this trip remembering his wishes. Again, im sorry for your loss bro.
Bro... I love Chad from CB media... great guy to show you around Thailand
I love this Channel and I love CB media I've never seen him show a car crash so before
We all love you Kyle. Keep strong your parents will always be proud.
Great video, it looks like the trip was good for your soul after such a devastating loss. Condolences.
Love the CB Media colabs
The rear suspension is independent on most of those cars. That’s why the tires tow in like that so whenever it launches, it has more surface area of tire and launches a lot better.
My condolences, may your Dad Rest in Power.!
And thanks for Always Sharing your experiences and let us be Part of it.! The Thai Car culture is amazing, and cool that you met CB Media, another amazing Channel. 😌👌🏻
Edit: And freakin' nice to see Cream Pai here, amazing Machine. 😄👌🏻
Glad they are showing this. I helped bringing the Thailand truck to the United States 8yrs ago to qualify for the nhrda
Is it the Isuzu D Max truck? I think i watched the vid long ago
@@Xuenii0126 yes sir it is. The crew was amazing. They motor swapped with hand tools in 4hrs. No lift or anything. We tested the day before in Denton. Super cool experience with the note nut guys and guhki I think was his name
@@Xuenii0126 yes I think that's the Note's Nut car that were invited by the NHRDA stuffs to showed at the NHRDA World Final 2013 and to break the World record for 4 cylinders truck at that time.
But I'm not sure it's the same black truck here in this video or not because this black truck's from the Note's Nut too.
I hope the Note's Nut team could go to showed the Thai truck in the states again, Thank you very much Note Nut team for making our car culture really had more fun.💕💕🙏
@@onalonan Yes. The team that competed in America was Team Bird, five main cars each, newly created as Team Noet. Nat is on the same team as Bird Lak Ha. Glad you still remember him from Thailand.
@@nickdesign1106 for sure, he is a real deal.💕💕💕
Amazing second half! So sick!
Sorry for your loss brother! I am sure dad had a big smile watching over you!
One of the best e30 ive ever seen. Great car.
Although I wouldn't do it with my own rigs I love how they never shift into second during the burnout & just bang off rev limiter. Gotta be tough on equipment but it sure sounds great. Awesome video bud, keep em coming 🤙🔥
Sorry to hear about your Dad, Kyle. Stay strong, man.😳
Great to see you hooked up with Chad. Haven’t seen him for a while. Good to see he’s still going strong.
Condolences.
Thank you for sharing the video
We need some of them to come to the US and run some prep tracks I think it would be so cool
They did once a while a go with a miracle engine rebuild overnight because the fuel in the U.S is not the same as what we used here in Thailand
รถไทยเคยไปวิ่งโชว์ที่อเมริกาแล้ว demax bird lakha
Great content, and amazing people and cars, Ive watched Chad’s Thai car scene channel for years. Sorry to hear about your pops bro. May the Valkyries carry him to the seat in Valhalla he earned through his life of being a good father raising his family with integrity and morals. Thank y’all for your dedication to the work. I worked after losing my mother, a month before that my father figure and 18 months after those we got hit head on by a drunk, killed my wife, mangled me and two of my four step kids were in the car as well, us three made it out. But work helped me deal with it in doses, and cars helped me feel my freedom and easy thoughts
Welcome to Thailand. thankyou 1320video
Spent 3 weeks in Thailand best holiday i've had such a beautiful place with awesome food and people.
This is the video i have been waiting for years
What an adventure love the drag racing loved the sights and sounds and that BMW downshift!!
Thanka for show to the world what is capable out of a 4 cylinder diesel!!!
Condolences to you and the family mate much love from Australia
Sorry to hear about your dad rip. I know it's tough to enjoy life after that happens for a while. Thanks for your dedication to this sport. Somebody needs to bring some of those diesel trucks to the states
Thailand is the Florida of Asia😂 Amazing place
Thank you on behalf of all Thai people.
Thank you for bringing this story.
for everyone around the world to see
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The reason they have their slicks toad in like that is for when they launch the tires tow out and they flattened against the surface they do that for weight distribution and it truly does work I do it at my local track.
That makes sense. Especially with the IRS. Most guys in the states use a solid rear axle that’s why it looks funny but whatever works
I hate to hear about your dad. I lost mine 8 yrs ago and it doesn't get easier that he's gone.. it just gets easier to live with. I hope that made sense to you. Prayers for you and yours to help try to get you through this tuff ass time!
21:00 yes the camber is exactly why you said. When it squats on the hit its set up to be as flat on the track as possible since they are running the independent rear suspension still. Like drifter run opposite camber for fuller contact when sideways. Adapt and overcome!
Tkx pour le reportage ✌️✌️✌️ ISUZU DMAX REPRESENT
I love those timing boards. Really cool they way you can see it count in real time
That track is sick!
I want to see 410 winged sprint cars, four cylinder aluminum head midget sprints, and late models on a dirt track. Bet the Thai folk and Japanese folks love that driving and racing .
Our deepest condolence from a couple of gear heads from Hawaii. The positive camber is for the squat when it launches. And the busted 1uz yes it sounds unusual and that's why i love it lol and tell cb dont need to be sorry because that slow shifting made the beast sound even more crazy just by hearing the db off the down and up shift just fkn amazing
Cool video. Enjoyed watching ✌️ 😎
Big thoughts and sympathies for the loss of your dad. Thanks for another stellar video Kyle :).
amazing video!!!1320 VIDEO AND CB MEDIA;FROM PUERTO RICO!!!!!!!!!!
My Condolences brother,....... i know how u feel lost my mom 2 years ago to cancer in 3 months......
I think those sunset beers on the beach did you some good - and I'm jealous you got to see all the cool stuff on Chad's videos ❤
Welcome to Thailand
I'm sorry for your loss. Prayers from Colorado...
You should go to New Zealand next! We have a great hidden drag racing scene.
This was an sick adventure brother thank you Kyle
Sorry you lost your Dad bro. Thanks for sharing your trip, amazing to watch
I’m sorry to hear about your loss here’s my condolences
Condolences to you and your family sorry for the loss… but great video as always.. i would love to see a heads up drag race with our best American diesel drag trucks vs their diesel trucks.
It already happened once in 2013 my friend after the NHRDA stuffs saw the Thai truck the owner named Note's Nut as in this video has his car too but nit sure the same truck or not and at that time the NHRDA stuffs invited the Thai guys to showed his truck at the NHRDA World Final 2013 event and to break the World record of the 4 cylinders truck. And that event that Thai truck broke the world record and be the fastest 4 cylinders truck at that time but very sad there are no 4 cylinders trucks class over there at that time. But at that time the Thai truck still smoked a lot of 6&8 cylinders trucks in that event.
And the most craziest part was the Thai owner he shipped his car to join the event there in the states with his own money and no sponsored. Just only go with his love of car and wanted to join the USA car culture.
And I think it's very good because it's really open eye for us Thai to see a lot of beautiful trucks over there and cool culture over there too. Hope we could see the vibe like that again I really love when different car culture meets and we could saw a very different car cultures and their Badass cars and trucks.💕💕💕
