Can't get enough of Brendan Gleeson. I loved his memorable performance along with sidekick Jack White in Cold Mountain as Renee Zelwegger's estranged father. He always brings a perfectly balanced mixture of dry wit and sensitivity to all his roles/ films. A 21 year old musician recently told me BG was his favourite actor. No surprise there. Of course in this one nobody was going to say originaly this movie is a Quebecer movie. All the genius of this beautiful picture comes from the mind of somebody else. Brandon Gleeson is a perfect pick for this role. Has alot in common with the original character.
