I had heard about that Three Billboards film, didn't realise it was made by the same guy who made In Bruges. Couldn't have picked a better way to promote it because I'm definitely seeing it now.
Funny that 3 Billboards is a serious contender for best picture even thought that was easily my least favorite of McDonagh's films. Still a great movie yes, but In Bruges and 7 Psychopaths are both soooooooo good.
7 Psychopaths is my least favourite. In Bruges, 6 Shooter, Three Billboards.. not sure what order I would put them in. They're all gold to me. They all have a trademark McDonagh style about the dialogue. I need to watch 7 Psychopaths again though. I don't think it's a problem with the film. It's my own issue/personal taste which coloured the film for me.
The actors in 7 were better than the script but in "In Bruges" the characters were in perfect harmony with the script. As a whole and especially as a drama "In Bruges" tops 7 in every way. While 7 is still a good movie it is not a masterpiece.
Im glad they made this. This has been one of my favorite movies all time and will always hold a place in my heart. This movie brings me to tears and brings me laugh every time I watch it.
This is one of my favorite movies. It's such a surprise, Because when I first watched it I didn't know if it was gonna be good because the premise was strange to me since it was supposed to be serious, but they had a lot of funny bits in it. Overall it's a great movie.

The Young Offenders (irish) and Mic-Nacs (French)?
2 more of my fav contemporary films. Mic-Macs on TH-cam 👉🏽
@@Gonzokeywest45 so true, his childlike wonder and tantrums masking all that guilt and suicidal thoughts. Truly a piece of ART!! Colin and Gleeson are truly the best duo I habe seen on screen. Both were too good in both In Bruges and Banshees of Inisherin. In Bruges (and Bashees) have one of the best scripts and dialogues ever written, add to that great cinematography and acting too!!
The humour was elite too like I still laugh at every bits of it, especially the Harry scene😭😭
Btw no I haven’t seen those two movies, I will watch them and thank you so much for the recommendations!!
I am laughing so hard ("Back off shorty. You don't know karate…) going to watch it again. Beautiful, beautiful movie.
I'm not surprised to see that they liked and respected each other so much. It shows in this gem of a film.
I had heard about that Three Billboards film, didn't realise it was made by the same guy who made In Bruges. Couldn't have picked a better way to promote it because I'm definitely seeing it now.
MrSkinnyWhale see it, it's great!
Three Billboards was brilliant.
Also i should add that the climax of the movie was FANTASTIC
Three Billboards has McDonagh written all over it. That witty dialogue, fantastic darkness/light in character's personalities. More migets!
Anna McKenna I saw it, it was great!
two of my favourite actors in my favourite film. amazing!
Funny that 3 Billboards is a serious contender for best picture even thought that was easily my least favorite of McDonagh's films. Still a great movie yes, but In Bruges and 7 Psychopaths are both soooooooo good.
I tought Seven Psychopaths was a little uneven, but still good. I would put Three Billboards above Seven, but In Bruges is still the king
Watch it again
7 Psychopaths is my least favourite. In Bruges, 6 Shooter, Three Billboards.. not sure what order I would put them in. They're all gold to me. They all have a trademark McDonagh style about the dialogue. I need to watch 7 Psychopaths again though. I don't think it's a problem with the film. It's my own issue/personal taste which coloured the film for me.
I thought 7 Psychopaths was hilarious and completely original. Rockwell was a standout and I love Walken's monologue near the end.
The actors in 7 were better than the script but in "In Bruges" the characters were in perfect harmony with the script. As a whole and especially as a drama "In Bruges" tops 7 in every way. While 7 is still a good movie it is not a masterpiece.
I finally went to Bruges almost 10 years after watching the film. Thought about these two the whole time! :)
masterpiece of a film.....
This is the perfect movie for a cold winter day. Watched it at least 20 times and I’m already looking forward to watch it again soon.
Brilliant film with a dream like quality an excellent score and amazing performances. #Masterpiece
A good dream?
@@Hordil yeah,like a fairytale
Im glad they made this. This has been one of my favorite movies all time and will always hold a place in my heart. This movie brings me to tears and brings me laugh every time I watch it.
Cant express in words how much i love this movie
One of my top 5 of all time. Brilliant film!!!
This is one of my favorite movies. It's such a surprise, Because when I first watched it I didn't know if it was gonna be good because the premise was strange to me since it was supposed to be serious, but they had a lot of funny bits in it. Overall it's a great movie.
I watch this film annually every autumn just such a gem of a film
Brilliant film. Just absolutely brilliant. Its a shame not many people have seen this.........
Brendan's face at 6:00 has to be one of the funniest things an actor's ever done.
I saw this movie for the first time in 2011. Ironically, I was taking an art history class as an elective and we were going over the art in Bruges. Such an underrated film.
Great movie! What a cast! I discovered it only by chance when Blockbuster had their going out of business sale...got the dvd for $1.00. ✌❤📽
One of my favorite films of all time. It's one of those movies I've seen many times and never get tired of it.
