I vaguely remember watching this as a kid on PBS Kids here in the U.S, where it apparently aired from 2007 to 2008, the same time I was a kid, and after watching this video, it brought up some vague memories of me sitting on my couch watching it.
I watched this film a few years ago expecting something beyond awful, but I think it became apparent that the writers took the concept of a Postman Pat Movie and decided to just have some fun with it. Like yourself I ended up liking it.
Technically that lorry belongs to the workmen at Garner Hall from the Toy Soldiers episode. It just became more associated with Ted Glen because he drove it more in season 2...
19:43-20:53 Pat thought about making sure about how his post delivery services will run, while he's away. Pat went on interviews and fame approach, by listening to his very obvious boss villain, keeping up with popularity and not telling his family or the community the truth about what he's doing. Throughout this entire movie Postman Pat, This was all your fault!
This review being in depth to Postman Pat in terms of continuity and as a insight of a film, does show better than LS Mark's review. although for such a cheap movie, Pat does remain true to his character and seeing his motivations.
15:08 OMG I died when you said that, I 100% agree with you. In my personal opinion, Gordon Brown was most definitely the worst prime minister our wonderful land of Britannia has ever had. The 2008 economic crash was partly his fault you know.
I watched the Postman Pat Movie back in 2016. I remember enjoying it (and thought it was cool they brought back older characters like Major Forbes). I’ve not seen many of the show’s older episodes. In regards to the movie, I think it was good. A little formulaic, but quite distinct and pleasant. It’s a shame the show ended, and I can’t even find out why.
11:44 he sounds like a well oiled car in that there's certainly been a lot of auto-tuning in all seriousness that voice coming out of this character is very uncanny
I have only ever watched the second half of the movie and that was on Christmas Day 2018 and from what I've seen I think the movie is pretty underrated.
I will admit though, the name Simon Cowbell is a little bit cringey considering it's a rip off of the names of one of the biggest people in the music industry.
I'm from the US, but they showed Postman Pat over here for a brief time from around 2004 to 2010. Few people saw it, but I watched it, so I get all the references. We didn't get this movie though, but it was funny to hear you riff on it.
It's called "Travelling Music" and is actual music from the original Postman Pat show. You can find it on youtube. Just put in " Postman Pat - Travelling music"
I agree with you about this movie, Jeffrey. It's not great but its not the worst either. My favourite thing about the movie is that some original series characters returned. I remember when PP series 3 started and I was so disappointed with it. I thought it was good to put in some ethnic characters but they should've kept all the original characters that had been established years before. Plus the episodes started to focus on them bloody annoying school children even more than Pat himself. Not my cup of tea tbh. I stick to the Ivor Wood episodes 😊
"I wish I was a postman.". Except when it's:
- Raining
- Snowing
- Sleeting
- Hailing
- A Really Hot Day
- A Really Cold Day
- Windy
- Foggy
So you would never want to be a postman in England.
“As Ron not jumping of the f**king horse”
Me while watching Harry Potter the philosopher stone: “RON JUMP OFF THE HORSE”
The British version of Nostalgia Critic
Except this is more funny then Doug’s most recent videos
And it isn't his "The Wall" review
yep
"Would you like this cup of tumor-tastic hemorrhoids?"
"No thanks."

I also watched the show a lot when I was kid. But the crazy thing is: my father worked as a postman as well.
"Get to work, men!".........."Fuck off!" XD
and he loses his job
“Using your everyday giant magnet.” Lol

How did pat managed to get Santa Claus?!

I always thought that Postman Pat was Welsh. I must have been thinking of Fireman Sam.
Ironically enough they were playing the intro for the show on the radio during the summer onetime, I’m American, and it was on an Irish music station
I'm beginning to grow fond of this channel.
That is beacause you are fond of this channel
Your like British Version of the nostalgia critic lol

xSamWeiss or British version of Brandon tenold

22:25 I laughed so hard the first time I saw that.
Just realised you have an IRN-BRU label on your wall. Your a friggin' legend, Jeffrey.

Pat's Scream Is Almost Like Woody's 6:59
It’s almost as if he edited woody’s scream in the video

I just realized how much you remind me of Mr Bean (Rowan Atkinson)
Or blackadder
I think blackadder was an inspiration for his characters, jeffery and Nigel
I was wondering when you were getting to this. Pretty solid review, mate!
I saw a Dalek in the film
Call The Welsh Fireman!
"Get to work men!"
F**k off
My Sister got this off LoveFilm & I didn't want to watch it with her because I knew it would probably be crap
So she watched it with Mum instead

It was his fault. But, he does show signs of regret and guilt. I didn't blabber about liking this in 2014, like some cloud cuckoo buffoon...
13:53 that farting music is amazing
16:33 the start of the robot apocalypse with carbuncle as the ruler of the earth

You remind me of Goob from Meet the Robinsons
I thought he was doing that on purpose for a sec XD
for the fireman Sam part alone, you get a like and a download
13:08 - Humor equals subjective.

Or as an American would say, about as well as Donald Trump's career as President
Jeffrey kitsch: Someone's stolen Ted Glynn's van! Quick, call the Welsh firemen!
Station Officer Steele: Get to work men!
Fireman Sam: Fuck off.
and i never knew this existed until it was too late I probably would've went to watch it... wait why am I watching a review if I haven't seen yet

in all seriousness that voice coming out of this character is very uncanny
i don't even know if i ever actually watched any postman pat
10:54 OK, that's too far.
I have only ever watched the second half of the movie and that was on Christmas Day 2018 and from what I've seen I think the movie is pretty underrated.
I will admit though, the name Simon Cowbell is a little bit cringey considering it's a rip off of the names of one of the biggest people in the music industry.
I would like if they do a series about Gordon Brown and Boris Johnsson
20:00 i like this music
My favourite series was the one from 2004 to 2006
I'm from the US, but they showed Postman Pat over here for a brief time from around 2004 to 2010. Few people saw it, but I watched it, so I get all the references. We didn't get this movie though, but it was funny to hear you riff on it.
I'm getting serious Hot Fuzz vibes from the constantly happy and idyllic atmosphere in Greendale and I don't like it.
It’s all for the greater good
Someone's steeling Ted Glen's van! 5:01

Would it be possible for you to review a modern Thomas movie? Either be good or bad?
I don't have any plans to at the moment, but I probably will at some point in the future.
Sodor's Legend Of The Lost Treasure, The Great Race or Tale Of The Brave are good modern Thomas movies
Jeffrey Kitsch I would review SLOTLT, JBS, TGR, or TAB
Light & Coal i love Thomas and fireman Sam
Light & Coal and postman pat

can you review old CBBC shows ? that would be hilarious XD
Can you do an Ivor The Engine because it aired the same time as Postman Pat.
yes please 😀😀
22:28 whaaaaaaaaaaat
I actually found your channel through James A Williams’ video about Postman Pat
What's the "oh god no" clip from?
Hot Fuzz
What I don't understand is why film studios often times miss the point of the source material.
It's also noted by some that this movie is a ripoff in plot to the Top Cat Movie in 2012, two years prior.
This is what happened when we privatised the royal mail
Alfs sheep was stuck on a tree branch shouldnt he called the pontypandy fire service
I'm in sheffield and it would take 2 hours to get to London from here
20:04 Say random question does anyone know that music name? Just wondering that is all...
It's called "Travelling Music" and is actual music from the original Postman Pat show. You can find it on youtube. Just put in " Postman Pat - Travelling music"
When you said that Pat's speech at the end was on par with Chaplin's do you mean that as a good thing or a bad thing
A good thing.
@@JeffreyKitschare you inspired by your US Counterpart (Nostalgia Critic)?
First time watching this channel this Jeffrey guy gives me the creeps. I like him.
What ever happened to Jeff Pringle? He just disappeared without any mention of his name, even though his son Charlie stayed in the show.
right as you said McCloud I immediately said THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE!
damm post men! still better then tatmr.
