I saw Looney Tunes: Back in Action sooo many times as a kid and it is STILL my favourite Looney Tunes live action, and it's kinda sad that it's soo underated and overlooked by its predecessor, and that also including Space Jam 2: A New Legacy. While I enjoy both movies (Space Jam and LT:BIA), I feel like Back in Action should be seen and loved more by anyone in particular and be up there with Space Jam.
He only played himself and Taz. His stuntman and son of a spy DJ Drake wasn't played by Fraser, but by himself. They look exactly alike. So much so than you might have seen Drake in the Mummy movies, getting more screentime than Fraser himself, before getting fired. Anyway... just double role, not triple.
Me too! It's so great to find a fellow someone who's also seen Back in Action too, as I watched it almost a million times as a kid, and it's still my favourite Looney Tunes movie, shame it's overlooked by Space Jam and not been seen enough, it NEEDS more love and attention (Back in Action I mean).
Rollercoaster Rider Well then it wouldn't be a live action movie there, as there is animation. Also, the two seem to be the type of actors that start drama
I loved this as a kid, as the scooby doo movies. and now, they're still nostalgic and have a charm to them but thats cos I saw them as a kid probably xd and hasnt seen space jam
"Why weren't Shag and Scoob given a coat of realism-" Well I thought it was obvious, it's the Hanna Barbara cheapness! I'm pretty sure each episode had a budget of a ham sandwich!
I agree. I tried to rewatch it and I just couldn't it was so boring! I liked the parts were the cartoon characters were in the real world the animation was good and so was the voice acting....... That's it...
While I Like Both Space Jam And Back In Action i think Looney Tunes Back In Action Is an underrated Film since it never got a good Box Office Success Because It's Release Date And The Production Troubles
In my opinion, Loony Tunes Back in Action is okay. The acting is great, the humor is laughable (for the most part), and the characters were decent. But the problem I had with this film is the plot of the movie feels more like a cliched spy movie than a Loony Tunes film. I hate spy movies because the plots are very cheesy and the gadgets are ridiculous.
6:13 It's time for An-I-man-I-acs And we're zany to the max So just sit back and relax You'll laugh till you collapse We're An-I-man-I-acs Come join the Warner brothers And the Warner sister Dot Just for fun we run around the Warner movie lot They lock us in the tower whenever we get caught But we break loose... And then vamoose... And now you know the plot We're An-I-man-I-acs Dot is cute and Yakko yaks Wakko packs away the snacks While Bill Clinton plays the sax We're An-I-man-I-acs Meet Pinky and the brain Who want to rule the universe Goodfeathers flock together, Slappy wacks 'em with her purse Buttons chases Mindy While Rita sings a verse The writers flipped We have no script Why bother to rehearse We're An-I-man-I-acs We have play for play contracts We're zany to the max There's baloney in our slacks We're An-I-man-ee Totally and zany Here's the shows namey An-I-man-I-acs Those are the facts!
7:15 Well, you're mostly right, except for the last one, since Looney Tunes used all three examples you just said as comedy, and yet more recently, modern cartoons actually took the guts to make same sex relationships as equally adorable! Steven Universe is a prime example with Ruby and Sapphire, along with The Owl House, etc...Did Looney Tunes accidentally predict the future?
Well I know you love looney tunes, but did you think of making a review about a looney tunes game?Like Bugs Bunny lost in time?(That's my favorite looney tunes game by the way) :))
Bugs Bunny Lost in Time and it's sequel (TimeBusters) were my favourite video games when I was a kid. While I have no interest in reviewing games I have considered doing Let's Plays.
YES!Finally someone knows about those games.Every time I ask a looney tunes fan about them they scratch their head and have no idea. That was indeed on of the best games for me when I was a kid,and the music is still trapped into my head(especially the beginning music and the 1930's :) Oh and what is the name of the music at the beginning at your video?
Zwoele Sjaak Can you please explain to me if in 20:25 he is saying "least like Looney Tunes character", like ironically saying that Pepe would obviously cameo because he is French, or saying "least liked Looney Tunes character "?
Zwoele Sjaak Thank you! And a final question, he says that because the people within the cartoon dislike him because of his smell, or because he is his least favorite Looney Tune ?
This movie doesn't take place in the 60s, and even if it did the animation of the final Looney Tunes cartoons made in the late 60s was just as stiff as early Hanna-Barbara episodes.
joe dante would have been a great director when he did gremlins in 1984 and its sequel I don't know if it was good and small soldiers was also his masterpiece and when he did this film he did direct to tv films and some shows too
Who wishes the Animaniacs came out of the water tower when it crashed down to make the scene a bit funnier.
Agreed agreed
What do you suppose they'd say?

I love it when Foghorn Leghorn say "boy's about as sharp as a bowling ball "
Brendan Fraser is actually in a dual role here. He plays DJ *AND* Taz!
*EDIT* And I guess a triple role for playing as himself
Holy crap he did play Taz!
He was awesome as him I couldn't tell it was Fraser.
He only played himself and Taz. His stuntman and son of a spy DJ Drake wasn't played by Fraser, but by himself. They look exactly alike. So much so than you might have seen Drake in the Mummy movies, getting more screentime than Fraser himself, before getting fired.

I vaguely remember space jam (saw it as a kid) but Looney Tunes Back to Action I've seen it a million times

Invasion of the bodysnatchers reference at 17:46
This is my all time favorite Looney tunes movie ever
7:31 if Scooby and Shaggy exist in this world, Why didn't they just play themselves in the live action movie?
Rollercoaster Rider Well then it wouldn't be a live action movie there, as there is animation. Also, the two seem to be the type of actors that start drama
I actually saw this years before space jam. lol
me too
I vaguely remember space jam (saw it as a kid) but Looney Tunes Back to Action I've seen it a million times
Mee too must have watched the movie a hundred times
SAME
Me too!😊😊
Love the fact that your intro parodies 'Bottom', great TV show, dissapointing it is so often overlooked!
The theme song is through the fire and the flames. I think one of the only things I like in this movie are the fact they added Daleks in this.
I loved this as a kid, as the scooby doo movies. and now, they're still nostalgic and have a charm to them but thats cos I saw them as a kid probably xd and hasnt seen space jam
I still laugh at the chasing scenes xd cm'on man, a real actor running after a cartoon XD
Maybe you can do a review on "Space Jam"
Or maybe "the Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle" next
15:31 that’s a B.B. gun, which is painfull but not a real gun
17:19 Actually I think Bugs is referring to her as a Screw Ball.
I know. I was joking.
Jeffrey Kitsch oh...................
"Why weren't Shag and Scoob given a coat of realism-"
Well I thought it was obvious, it's the Hanna Barbara cheapness! I'm pretty sure each episode had a budget of a ham sandwich!
2:08 you said it Garfief!
I'm sorry, but I've gotta say Space Jam is overrated.
I agree. I feel like people only like it because of nostalgia.....which is a stupid excuse.
EmilyTopHatFan 1030 It rated low critically, but people have fond memories of movies they grew up with.
Space Jam sucks as a movie but it's the mainly for the nostalgia factor and the fact that it includes the Looney Tunes
I agree.
I tried to rewatch it and I just couldn't it was so boring!
I liked the parts were the cartoon characters were in the real world the animation was good and so was the voice acting.......
That's it...
While space jam is overrated, I still get some enjoyment out of it. But I think Back in Action is better

Seriously?! You didn't even mention the two Daleks that Marvin the Martian employed during his escape from Area 52?!
8:44 DAYSHIFT AT FREDDY'S PURPLE GUY!!! what are you doing here???
18:44 When Jeffy is finally banned from SML.
I watched looney tunes back in action this morning
Aw come on, who doesn't like Roger Moore? He was funny, charming, and just as good a Bond as anyone.
In my opinion, Loony Tunes Back in Action is okay. The acting is great, the humor is laughable (for the most part), and the characters were decent. Come join the Warner brothers

Just for fun we run around the Warner movie lot

And now you know the plot
We're An-I-man-I-acs
Dot is cute and Yakko yaks
Wakko packs away the snacks
While Bill Clinton plays the sax
We're An-I-man-I-acs
Meet Pinky and the brain
Who want to rule the universe
Goodfeathers flock together,
Slappy wacks 'em with her purse
Buttons chases Mindy
While Rita sings a verse
The writers flipped
We have no script
Why bother to rehearse
We're An-I-man-I-acs
We have play for play contracts
We're zany to the max
There's baloney in our slacks
We're An-I-man-ee
Totally and zany
Here's the shows namey
An-I-man-I-acs
Those are the facts!
I like Roger Moore as James Bond
he's my third Fav Bond actor
I could see why they would’ve turned down Roger for this part due to his age at the time, but I could see Brosnan in this part if he did accept tbh
He's my second favouirte behind Connery, and sometimes my all time favourite.
What's that bit abut the ancient weapon that'll clean out your bagpipes from?
It's from a "webtoon" called Planet of the Taz (bet you can't guess what movie it's parodying!)
This is my favorite movie
7:15 Well, you're mostly right, except for the last one, since Looney Tunes used all three examples you just said as comedy, and yet more recently, modern cartoons actually took the guts to make same sex relationships as equally adorable! 8:52, And Pierce Brosnan?
20:38 what was the cut about?
A reference to my review of Gulliver's Travels, a film which like this one combined live-action actors and sets with animated characters.
What about the Wanner siblings in the tower are they died in the movie
Well I know you love looney tunes, but did you think of making a review about a looney tunes game?Like Bugs Bunny lost in time?(That's my favorite looney tunes game by the way) :))

Yeah the soundtrack to those games was great. Very catchy and very memorable.
What is the name of the music at the beginning at your video? great taste for music
Its an accordion version of "Whiskey in the Jar" by the Dubliners :)
I once went to a movie that had no people
I love looney tunes back in action
Though I see Space Jam as a guilty pleasure and I ain't keen on Back in Action. I do feel BiA is better than SJ. Does that make sense?
13:46 What song is this by the way?
"Foggy Mountain Breakdown" by Earl Scruggs
21:39 Wait a second. That’s an Asian Elephant, not an African Elephant.
Loonatics Unleashed is not bad. The wacky intro was only in last season
I bought both movies at the same time. But i liked back in action more then space jam.
Zwoele Sjaak Can you please explain to me if in 20:25 he is saying "least like Looney Tunes character", like ironically saying that Pepe would obviously cameo because he is French, or saying "least liked Looney Tunes character "?
Kyr Vant least liked looney tunes character.
Zwoele Sjaak Thank you! And a final question, he says that because the people within the cartoon dislike him because of his smell, or because he is his least favorite Looney Tune ?
Kyr Vant because he is his least favourite
Zwoele Sjaak Ok, thanks again!
Trust me, the US opening of Loonatics Unleashed is much better, and reflects the darker Batman Beyond qualities of the show...
I've watched that movie
Even as a Kid I felt this movie was mediocre. Also, I forgot Goldberg was in this movie...and I thought his first WWE run was bad!
What music was used for the intro
"Through the Fire and Flames" - accordion cover
@@JeffreyKitsch Am I allowed to use this music for my channel please?
Spear 10:24
13:32 and wasn’t he fired?
You look familiar
22:58 Where from?
Goodnight Mister Tom (1998)
5:48
7:43 They made them look exactly like the Hanna Barbara cartoons they had stiff animation in the 60's.
This movie doesn't take place in the 60s, and even if it did the animation of the final Looney Tunes cartoons made in the late 60s was just as stiff as early Hanna-Barbara episodes.
Yeah but Scooby Doo was always like that and Looney Tunes wasn't always like that.
0/10 not enough Lola
joe dante would have been a great director when he did gremlins in 1984 and its sequel I don't know if it was good and small soldiers was also his masterpiece and when he did this film he did direct to tv films and some shows too
Or the soundtrack of space jam is better than the movie if you agree?
First
Bich
not nearly as good as my review
There actually is nothing wrong with kissing the same gender.........
.........I didn't say there was
Well yes, but actually no
Your review is clever but I can do without the profanity, especially when this is a family movie.
