Sure, this cat acted strangely when the search for the lady started; but that could have been done to make sure it wasn't a suspect if she suffered mortal wounds. Cats are tricksy. The old lady would have done better to own a collie. Being man's best friend they wouldn't push this nice old lady into the ravine. On the other hand, once she fell in, I've seen enough episodes of _Lassie_ to know that the dog would go searching for Timmy and bring him to the ravine to help the poor woman. That's why there was a television series named _Lassie_ and not a television series called _Piran_ . Hmmm, why wasn't this kitty named Purran? Maybe the English can't spell.
It's a REALLY nice thing to see/hear about the good in this world!! Please please please continue this, as for too long we have just heard bout crap things, and I for one, would like to have my faith in human beings restored
My Native American step great-grandmother believed blacks cats were lucky. I like this, please do this again, like once a week or perhaps the day after something happens.
Black cats get a bad rap, but I believe they are extremely intuitive. I shelter around a dozen cats and have 4 black cats. I love them all, but there is something mystical about black cats and it's all good. Loved the story about the Polish Olympian and the protective dog as well.
