I was home for the holidays during my college years when a young man lost control of his car and wrapped it around the telephone pole in front of our house. Somehow I slept through it but my sister woke up and held his hand until he passed.
Afterwards, whenever I went in the garage, I felt a presence. The sensation would vary between anticipation, dread, and desperation.
Like a fool, I didn't put two and two together.
Years later the family was discussing it and I wasn't the only one who had this experience.
It continued until my mom felt it inside the house, and she prayed for him. Apparently that's what he needed.

I did armature ghost hunting as a teen way back in the '90's and saw and experienced a bunch of strange things. My best experience however was when I was in the Coast Guard on board the Polar Sea when we just left Antarctica and were making our final steam north. The ghost on the bridge had a conversation with me while I was on healm one night. The Officer on deck asked me who I was talking too, but when I turned to see who the person was (I thought it was someone coming up to give a weather report) they vanished.

I have a couple of ghost stories of my own. The most recent one was one my Ma and I both had. We were finishing up the packing from my late Grandfather's house when we both smelled peppermint, and pipe Tabaco. My Grandfather never smoked a day in his life, but my Grate Grandpa( according to Ma) always smelled of peppermint, and pipe Tabaco. Another story was when a close family friend died. I was walking home from school when I heard the loudest wailing, like a woman who had lost everything in the world. The family friend was Irish( as am I and Ma), and Ma raised me on tails of the Ban Shea who would wail at the time of someone's death. Then there was the time I, my brother, and a group of kids got locked in the master bedroom of the House of Seven Gables. While we were on tour.

I believe that is similar to what I call an Echo. Events replaying themselves, over and over. It's usually because something horrible happened and the land is now scarred with it. Hence why people can sometimes hear gunshots, cannon fire and screaming at old battlesites.

I don't believe in ghosts or the paranormal, but to me the answer "It's a ghost" seems reasonable. There is an unexplained phenomenon, something with an explanation that has not been identified. This is, of course, not a full explanation, and I can see some logical explanations for those things, but some mysteries don't need to be solved.
We understand so much about how the world works: the water cycle, the lives of stars, animals that would seem otherworldly... We have lost magic, for lack of a better term, nothing is as exiting and otherworldly as it was in the ancient times. So many miracles of life seem like nothing when all knowledge is a wave of a hand away. We've lost the aw of the curious children of antiquity and the dread of the fearful of the dark ages.
I'm fascinated by the unknown, I long to learn it, but I know that once I do, the magic will be gone.
Point is, don't be scared of ghosts, be scared that they might not be.

i’m a bit of a skeptic, but i love hearing this stuff. its interesting and just reminds me of halloween lol. my dad believes (i think) and had a bit of an experience himself (in my own house!).
so, as a bit of backstory, there’s a chair in my living room where he frequently napped on weekends when i was little, and my cat at the time would always jump onto his chest or lap and sleep with him. fast forward to when i was in fifth grade; the cat then died. now, a few years later, my dad was sleeping in the chair because he recently cracked a rib at work. so, one night when he was sleeping, he felt claws sink into his chest/leg. he woke up both times and looked, only to find that nothing was there.

I think our ancestors possessed a knowledge we have lost. I have always been sensitive, and it was only last year that I was informed its because I'm psychic. The pandemic did many things, but for me it included a spiritual awakening.
Magic is completely real, I've done a bit myself, and weird experiences are now so routine I don't think about it anymore. I have only had one encounter with what might be a ghost when I was very young, but I've had things start for no reason around me, (twice my cell phone started playing the song in my head when I hadn't touched it), sometimes I can sense when something's about to stop working, I wake up worried about something and find an email about it. Right now, I'm being bombarded with synchronistic numbers. It's far beyond the scientific explanations of "coincidence" and "pattern recognition."

When my children were small my husband and I rented a beautiful modern house in Denmark, somewhere that you would never normally associate with ghosts.; but from the very first day we became aware of a presence. Although we never saw anything, I knew that it was a man who would stare at me in an hostile manner with his hands on his hips. We also experienced many incomprehensible and disturbing occurrences that we never mentioned to the children as we didn't want them to be frightened. However, one evening my small daughter told me that there was someone in her room and although she couldn't see or hear anything she said it just felt like a ghost, a word she had never used before. We decided to move and the house was later sold to a couple and tragically the mother and their young son were to die when the house caught fire in the middle of the night. The husband had been away and when he returned the fire brigade told him that their dog had been found safely in the garden and there was no explanation as to how he could have escaped the house. A cause for the fire was never found.

"Ghosts"! My 'speciality'. Love your show, Daisy! And, here is why 'ghosts' are real; ALL living things are "Biological Electromagnetic Entities" currently encased in Meat-Suits which, in the mannor of a deep sea diving suit, allows us to interact with the material world/universe in ways impossible in our natural energy state. Examples indicating that this is so are common, one being the "phantom limb" phenomina where people believe they can still feel the missing body part. In fact, Kirrillian photography, a means to actually photograph the Human Bio electromagnetic energy field, clearly demonstrates that, as far as the energy universe is concerned, a part of the meatsuit is missing but the energy of the part is still there. This is shown in Kirrillian photos of plant leafs missing parts that show a whole leaf in the photo. It's one of the more common things people do with Kirrillian photos, but, Don't take my word for it, investigate Kirrillian photography! Obviously, as it can be proven we have or are an energy body that survives physical death, WE survive physical death! Also, like the analogy of the Deep Sea Diver's suit, where the diver can only stay underwater for so many hours and then has to go through a process, our dreams are just us returning to our real world, the energy universe, to 'recharge' our 'batteries'. and, like the deep sea diver, if we don't return to our 'natural' world, we will die. Disruption of a human's REM over a prolonged period can kill. Anyways, Hope that's Helpful!

I've never seen anything I'd call supernatural, but I'm open to the idea. My mother insists that ghosts are real and would tell a story when I was young that went like this:
As a child, she lived in a home with her mother and two aunts (her father had abandoned the family when mom was a baby). There was a large, old family Bible in one of the rooms that sat on a book stand, and mom would occasionally get scolded for touching it because grandma would find the book moved. Mom insisted she didn't touch the book because she didn't want to get in trouble.
One evening they all heard a howl and a commotion in the Bible's room and rushed in to find it thrown open with torn pages falling to the ground. No one was there. They didn't stay in the house much longer.

That's scary to contemplate. While whatever was in that house never harmed me physically, it was a very very different feeling to the ghosts in the theatre I used to work at. I never felt frightened at the theatre, or any kind of dread; just various presences that I'm sure were friendly. I think they just liked watching all the shows, to be honest. But whatever was in the house was the opposite of that, there was nothing friendly about it.

Growing up, my siblings and I would play in our down stairs game room. All 3 of us would hear a single clapping sound sometimes in the attached laundry room. We would also hear our mom call one of our names. We would say what and she would say she didn’t call us
    Not sure what’s that about
My grandma’s house had a creepy basement and a completed attic with bedrooms that was very creepy.
Also I’ve had plenty of feelings that someone was in the room with me. Strangely those encounters (or whatever) felt comforting. Almost like they were a presence seeing if I was ok. This was before my grandparents had passed away

I thought for sure you would be a non-believer, since you come across as such a rational person. I am rational, but I still believe that we only perceive a tiny sliver of reality. We would probably go insane if we were confronted with the true scope of it all.
I've had paranormal experiences periodically throughout my life, especially during my early teen years. I think I must be slightly sensitive. I lived in an old farmhouse as a child. It was over a century old. One night I awoke from a dead sleep, startled. I could feel someone in the room with me, but I couldn't see anybody. Another night the same thing happened, but I actually saw a man's face above me for just a second. It looked like a skilled artist had drawn a face with chalk on a blackboard, but it was hovering in the air above me.
One morning I awoke to the sound of a man's voice. It said "wake up," followed by a woman's name. I heard the voice several times. My mother said it was just the neighbors, as the building had been converted into two apartments, but the neighbors would have had to yell in order for us to hear them with such clarity. This voice was very intimate, and much softer than that. I don't remember the name, but this was before the internet, and being a kid, I wouldn't have known how to research the history of the house anyway. Eventually it was torn down.
The scariest experience I had in that house was me experiencing an episode of sleep paralysis, and hearing a male voice whispering in my ear. It sounded like it was in a foreign language, but the tone was hateful. I felt like it was cursing me. I never felt any other negativity in that house, thankfully.
Years later I stayed for a night in my grandparent's basement, on a cot. I could feel a presence watching me as I was falling asleep. Don't ask me how, but I knew it was a woman who had been elderly when she died. I was scared, but not terrified. She was just curious about why I was there. Had I felt malevalence, I wouldn't have fallen asleep at all. It just took me awhile.
I am not as sensitive as I was when I was younger. I think I managed to shut it off out of fear. That was a lot for a kid to take in. Part of me wants it back, but the other part says "good riddance! “

Yes, yes, yes! More ghost stories! Love 'em. Learn from 'em.
Regarding your story of the footsteps on the stairs of the theatre, I have a possible non-paranormal explanation. It relates to the house I lived in when I was a kid back in the 1950s & 1960s. It is interesting (maybe) because it shows that dogs are afraid of 'ghosts'.
The house was old and had a large staircase to the second floor. If you went up the stairs and down the hallway to one of the bedrooms you would eventually hear the treads of the stairs creak; pretty much in the same order as you ascended the stairs. You would also hear the the hallway floorboards creak in the order you traversed them in going to a bedroom.
Well, we had this miniature America Husky who was kinda crazy. One night I went up the stairs and went down the hallway and took the right turn to a shorter hallway which led to my bedroom. I shut the bedroom door as usual. Our weird dog decided to sleep at the end of the hallway just where the right turn was. About 10 minutes later the bottom of the stairs started to creak and the dog began to growl. He went down the hall to the top of the stairs and growled more. The creaking moved up the stairs but faster. The dog started to kaiyaiai as he ran down the hall in panic. He slipped at the right turn as the floors were waxed and he ran down the shorter hall to my bedroom. The door was closed so he banged his head. He didn't care and just started scratching quickly at the base of the door while whining. At this point I opened the door, he jumped on my bed and out my window. That was not a problem because at widow level was the roof of our veranda. He wouldn't come in off that roof all night.
There were no 'ghosts' in my house but the poor dog seemed to think there were; so, after that he always slept on my bed beside me and avoided the hallway and stairs.
Anyway, Daisy, the creaking stairs you heard at the old theatre may have been along the same as the stairs and hallway of my childhood home. Of course, I can't rationalize away the personage you saw who disappeared before your eyes. Best possibility is you are slightly sensitive psychically speaking and you picked up on something 'imprinted' in that theatre. Not a ghost just a type of 'memory' not your own.
One more story; again not a paranormal one but useful to you or your subscribers. I worked as a programmer at a cable manufacturing company near Toronto several years back. I did long hours sometimes going well past midnight on a regular basis. One night I could hear talking and whispering in the direction of the main entrance of this company. It was a quick (10 second) walk from my office to the main entrance; so it was easy to ensure that no one was in the building who shouldn't be. When I got there the talking and whispering (which I could hear up to that point) DISAPPEARED. There was no one around! I went back to my office and hadn't even sat down and I could hear what I heard before. Back to the main entrance . . . again the talking and whispering disappeared and there was no one. This problem repeated about 10 times in as many minutes (freaked me out).
Inside the main entrance reception area was a large wishing pond with goldfish and several waterfalls. I decided to shut the fishpond fountains off so I could hear better and returned to my office. The talking and whispering did not come back. Eventually, I went back and turned the fountain back on and returned to my office but now I could hear the talking and whispering again. I quickly realized that the fountain system was creating random 'noise' which my ears were interpreting as talking and whispering. It also occurred to me that people long ago probably were aware of this phenomenon. I'm now pretty sure that the term 'babbling brook' gets its name from what I experienced. So, a good idea, if you think you are experiencing the paranormal, auditorily, first eliminate anything near you that might be generating white noise or its equivalent. Once you've done that . . . panic!
Regarding your comment to a family member, "We have a ghost!". Way wrong thing to say!!! "Time to move!", sounds just about right.

Oh yes I believe in spirits. When I was growing up my 5 year older bother woke me up screaming. We were in bunk beds and I saw my brother point to the side wall. There was a white cloud in our room, with a very distinct old man's face looking at the room and us too, no sound. I just froze and couldn't speak. As soon as my dad came in, poof it was gone. Yes my brother and I believe in ghosts or something that can't easily be explained. My brother and I talked about it only twice, that night and once about 10 years later.

Hi Daisy, yes I'd love to hear more about the paranormal! I am definitely a believer having grown up in a haunted house and from there having experienced more events in the next house. I witnessed my baby sister sitting on the floor looking up as though someone was in the room with her. I was down the hallway and noticed she also had her arms raised as though she was about to be picked up. I assumed my mother was in the room. I went to the room, there was no one there! I also saw a shadow figure of an animal race across the floor into a closet. I figured an animal (about the size of a medium sized cat) got into the house. I immediately checked the closet- again, nothing there. We had a dog who'd growl at a second hand chair that my mother bought which we all witnessed. And I saw a doppelganger of my father on the chair our dog never liked. Lastly, in the next house I saw a full sized shadow figure after having just walked into the house. It was about sunset. I thought it was one of my parents. It walked down the hallway into their room. I followed thinking it was one of them, it wasn't, and nobody was home! I was so frightened I ran outside and waited until my parents returned home, I was 13 years old. Years later I've been told that I have 'abilities.' It doesn't explain the hauntings (which were witnessed by my family and visiting relatives), but it has explained other things. Maybe you have abilities as well? Anyway, I love your work and subbed to both your channels. Wishing you all the best from Chicago! 👻🎃

I'm a non believer in ghosts , but I have experienced many occasions when my sensory system during periods of hyperactivity , medication, stress , and depravation. has produced some "ghost " like apparitions . I have only experienced images of known people and objects from my past . which i put down to being manufactured from my own memories , and at the time hyperactive brain. I have always enjoyed your content , and the thought provoking subjects , and this second channel seems to be no different , excellent story telling .

I am somewhat skeptical but thank you for sharing. I try to keep an open mind about all things because honestly we cannot explain everything people experience in life. However I usually think along the line there must be a good explanation for these things, perhaps just one we weren't currently thinking of, for example the footsteps you heard in the theater might have been a kid or teen playing tricks on you because they heard the theater was haunted and thought it would be funny to scare people.
Not trying to discount your experiences but I have had a situation where a card trick was performed on me at a fair and it seemed like they guessed my card absolutely right and they had no way of knowing what it was however later I thought about it and they could have had two decks of cards, one which had all the same card. If they switched out the decks before and after showing me the cards, before I selected a card, then of course they would know my card. Just something to think about.
There's also many cases of people faking things for their own amusement like when I watched a video about people making "Bigfoot" feet castes made out of concrete using them as shoes sort of to fake Bigfoot tracks out in the forests and such. Also people making crop circles because they thought it was fun.

Great video but then again all your videos are. I too have had a few experiences over the years. Most of them were in the form of hearing foot steps and such while being in a house alone but once I was at a friends house and saw the bedroom door open and a coat hanger came flying into the room. I was right beside the door and ran out and found nobody there. I didn't get any sleep that night.

I have never personally had a major supernatural experience - I've had a few weird little things happen but they could be explained away rationally. My husband however says that while he was stationed in Italy he was living in a house with a ghost - it would make creepy noises at night when he was trying to sleep. He says he got the sense that the ghost just wanted some attention.

I don't really belive in ghost but I know there's a lot of things we can't see and, mixed with the fact that humans have More than 20 senses, one More developed than others, I do belive some people can see or feel things that I can not see or feel.
What I don't like Is people that take advantage of that belive in others to get their money.

I'm an empath, so I know what people are 'feeling' I guess you could say their 'vibes' or 'auras'. Daisy, I've scared teh snot outta myself with ghostie things and got the thrill of the adrenaline rush. I've not had any experience with the 'real thing'. As a girl at slumber parties we did have seances (light as a feather stiff as a board) and those were weird....BUT... as an empath, I can tell you, real living breathing humans scare the ever living stuffings out of me way more than anything else!!! When you are near a person who looks all kind, but when you look right into their pupils and don't stop looking and can feel the malevolence (and not just cause I'm being rude enough to stare) or the foulness they have, it is vile!
To feel a matriarchal vibe from someone, or feel the protective nature of another. I usually don't make any kind of contact with them, I just feel it. Hence probably why I prefer to be a hermit!
To go to, say, church, and feel all the people who are suffering, or the people who smile and hug you but are back stabbing and have such nasty souls. More times than I can count I have 'called it' when I met a person for the very first time and knew what they were made of. Those two faced people who make me want to scrub with an iron brush in a scalding hot shower with acid to get the shack nasty vibes off me.
I think I need to comment so I can get alerts.

My family has one of those! It's an antique from 1916 and it's one of the only three videos on my channel LOL.
Anyway, as for ghosts, I am skeptical. However, what I tell people is that I don't believe in ghosts or the supernatural for the most part, BUT I believe in them just enough to know not to fuck with them. I do absolutely believe that these things happened to you, and I don't know what I would feel if I was in that position.
And even though I say I'm a skeptic, I still would look into possible hauntings and histories if I were to purchase a house! Fortunately the house I grew up in was not supernatural at all, though we did live about a mile from a village abandoned in the 1800s.

My ghost story involve late night at work…working near midnight on a project. An engineer typically worked late too, from time to time, in another section of the office. I was in a large open studio, lights off….just had my computer going, doing AutoCadd (black screen background). In the dark studio, late at night, the 4 story building you could hear creaking, etc, from time to time. Occasionally, the engineer would come into our studio to ask a question, etc. and this night, I caught a glimpse, in my computer screen, of him coming up behind me. I thought, I’m going to jump around and scare him (before he spooks me!). So I did: turned suddenly around and yelled “boo!” But no one was there!! Fright went up and down my spine! I got out of there / out of the office in a flash!

I lived in a haunted house for almost 10 years. Heard children running through the halls, and doors that don't exist slam shut. Also became a hobbyist "ghost hunter" and saw some crazy stuff. That being said, I currently work in a prison, and I can say that nights get quite eerie. Prisons are full to the brim with negative emotions. If you entertain the notion of hauntings, this is a hotbed of paranormal activity. Deaths, murders, suffering, etc. Prime mold for leftover angry spirits. Side note: don't go to prison. Awful place. Would not recommend.

Awesome video, Sweet Miss Daisy, I just subscribed to your new channel so now I'm subscribed to both channels. I also have had experiences with those beings of the Great Beyond myself. The most recent was a few years ago. I was woken up by my mother one 🌃 and told that there's someone in our bathroom since the door was locked. With mum holding a knife at the ready, I got a screwdriver to force the lock open and opened the door...
    There was nobody inside.
The lock cannot be operated from the outside.
Yet it was locked from the inside.
Mum suspects I played a prank on her after we got a priest to go through the 🏠.
But I tell you now I have nothing to do with THAT.
That 👻 you saw stretching his legs in the theatre must love the show so he haunted the theatre to catch the show.
Personally if I became a 👻 I'd love to haunt a cinema - you get to watch whatever you want and for free. Plus no worrying about COVID.

Every civilization that ever existed has talked about ghosts. Why would every civilization tell the same lie? Just bc a person hasn't personally experienced something doesn't mean everyone who has is crazy or a liar. Ben Franklin, Thomas Edison, and Nicola Tesla all tried to find ways to talk to the dead. And while I've never seen a ghost, I have 2 great ghost stories where people involved wouldn't tell what happened to almost anyone out of fear of being mocked or thought crazy.

  • @Omizuke

I believe in the paranormal, but I'm not sure I'd be such if I personally hadn't had many experience. Not just me, my entire family can tell many stories. I don't know if it's luck or susceptible. And I'm constantly trying to look for a logical or scientific explanation. Even as a kid. But as I grew older I just settle with, there are things that right now we don't have the capability to understand or explain. I'm not particularly religious but highly spiritual.
As for the dreadful feeling. For that there must be malice involved. Either the "ghost" was malignant or something else was, like an act or whatever the cat saw and it was what kept the ghost stuck there. Which is why the man you saw on the theater didn't have a similar effect. He was just there, with no ill will. As opposed to what was on your house. As for why you had the feeling and no one else. It's because you had gotten attuned to it. When you became aware of "it" you could feel it. I've experience the feeling in some of my experiences.
Then again as a kid, when I was in 5th grade. My school was across the street from the old cemetery. And I used to go there to play. Probably pissed someone off.
Oh, and I mean really old, Gothic, with an obelisk and all. And had a section separated for the people who died of tuberculosis back in the pandemic of late 1800s.
Also, loved the content, thanks for sharing.

Don't think I've seen a ghost but go through periods when I dream about demons. Usually in the morning. Had one crazy dream where I was in a haunted house. A demon came towards me but I couldn't move. Was stuck. It made me angry so I started twisting and turning like mad to break free. Fell out of bed and woke up when I landed on my hip. Was lying there totally confused. Then I fell asleep again and woke up later even more confused. Still on the floor and had forgotten the reason why. Not exactly a ghost story but I would love to experience something.

For 10 years my house was visited by the recently dead (typically for a day or two or three). The story of Jesus and Lazarus is relevant to the 3 day limit. My oldest son saw them commonly. I saw one clearly at the same time that my oldest son saw that man and caught a glimpse of another. Then we moved next door. Soon after we moved I was visited two nights in a row by a recently dead man who was apparently pleading for my help. I could see him and interact visually with him, but I could not hear him. Apparently, he was concerned about what would come next.
