Siberian cats are interesting, adorable, mystical creatures, and they make incredible pets. I should know, I have two of them; Rafita and Vladimir! Here are some fun facts about Siberian cats for anyone who may be considering getting a pet but unsure where to start (spoiler alert, they're hypoallergenic!), PLUS an epic video montage of Rafita and Vladimir from kittens to now! Daisy wanted a cat and her boyfriend wanted a dog. So they compromised and got two cats.

The voice you use to talk to your cats absolutely slays me. Prior to this channel, I never fathomed you using a "goo goo" voice.
Right? It's adorable lol. Our pets really do become like children to us lol.
This confirms a lot about the long-haired cat that I used to have (she passed away about 15 years ago). She was really passive around kids. She was huge (around the 20 pound mark). She behaved more like a dog than a cat. She never jumped on the furniture unless you invited her to do so. She never aggravated my allergy to cats.
However, she was very territorial. She absolutely would not tolerate any other cat on my property.
Top Tip (as practised by Louis Rossman, amongst others):
If stuck for content, just put the cats on screen.

A sweet red point is going to live with me in less than a week! 🤗😻. I’ve waited 60 years for a hypoallergenic cat and how lucky they are so beautiful inside and out! I live in the Rocky Mountains and he will love that coat up here.

I love all animals but I'm definitely a cat person. My cat (Puss Puss) was rescued 14 years ago and has been living the good life ever since. She's all white with two different colored eyes. So yes, more videos like this please.

I once watched my cat Gypsy (in the late '70s) do an 'eye-ball' at the top of a 9 ft. kitchen cabinet in my 10 ft. high ceiling apartment. She propped up like a meercat on her hind legs, bobbed her head back & forth to gauge the distance, scrunched down like loading up a spring and then 'let loose'. She landed perfectly on the top of the cabinet without hitting the ceiling nor having to scratch her way up the edge. It was impressive to watch. [Wink.] JMO.

I've been waiting for this video since you announced two years ago on a live stream that you were getting these lovely little ones. My son is allergic to cats as well. But he loves them! This type of kitten could be a good solution for him. Thanks for the information! 💕
Yes I would very much recommend this breed for your son if he has allergies! And they are such beautiful cats, they come in many different colours.

Oh, just the first few minutes is making me happy! I have been desperate for a pet for YEARS but am allergic to both dogs & cats. I'm an amateur/wannabe singer as well, so I can't lose my voice. Thanks for giving me a bit of hope!

By the way, Daisy - here in England, although we might be officially on the metric system, we still use miles for distances, and no-one I know gives their weight in kilograms. And, of course, beer comes in pints. Long live Imperial!
If I'm asked how tall I am, I always say I'm 5-7 or maybe 5-8.
I watch a husky channel - Key’ush…(fun channel) his neighbor has a Siberian cat (key calls cats “meowers”). Key’s owner showed a video of her petting the meower….then showed key’s reaction as he smelled the cat on her hands….it was hilarious: as if he were betrayed!
Love the video, it's nice to get a good look at them. They look healthy and happy, a sign they are being raised in a loving household.

They're gorgeous cats Daisy! I have a Birman (had 2 but 1 passed away) and they are hypoallergenic as well. The Siberian sound very similar in nature to Birmans. I'm sure you give them vet/pet store food but it's never too soon to start them on a kidney care diet. I'd love to see more videos of your sweet babies.

When I was 6 my doctor told my mom that I was allergic to cats.
And I remember stubbornly claiming that they were wrong. Or even if they were right I would live with it. Because I did not want to give up my best friend. (They were not wrong.)
Well, I am 31 now, and I take an allergy pill everyday, but I live with eleven rescued cats in the house.
And I am not saying everyone should ignore their doctor like I did that is stupid. But If you have a pet, and it turns out you have an allergy, don't just dump them. Getting rid of your pet should be the last resort.
Because I live with so many, I still have Itchy eyes, and the occasional stuffy nose even with the allergy pill. But I would rather deal with that, then live without my cats.
Cat fur is proof that greatness rubs off on others.

Am I to guess after watching this video that Siberian cats are less vocal than most cats?My 15 year old Mackerel Tabby passed away last year due to cancer. I work 2nd shift and Sophia was ALWAYS at the door vocalizing her pleasure to hear the car pull into the driveway. Sophia was the most loving ❤ creature in my 55 years,and I've been married and divorced twice.

More kitties please! I get to live vicariously through you! I'm 100% a cat person, I adore my pug, but honestly, I prefer cats all the way. I can't stand how needy dogs are, I like that cats are aloof and come to you when they know you need them or they want attention from you. I love Norwegian Forest Cats (norske skog kats) and Maine Coon Cats as well as the Siberians. We had a huge floof of a black cat with orange eyes we called Black Jack when I was a kid. I love black cats!

My 9 month Siberian kitten was diagnosed with a heart murmur. She came from a reputable breeder in Russia. And I also did Wisdom Panel DNA test for any predisposition to disease and all came out clear. Not sure if my kitten will outgrow this murmur at 1 year. Yes, Siberians are amazing!

I'm 31 years old and never owned a cat until I very impulsively adopted one around a month ago and now I adore her. I discovered I'm actually a cat person! Now I 100% like cats more than dogs. Dogs are cute and very loving, I've had two in my life that i obviously loved. But in general I don't like how much they bark, which is obviously not their fault but it annoys me, also they get stinky, they are harder to educate when it comes to where they have to poop and all that.. they seem as a lot of work to me and never wanted more than 1 at a time. Now with my cat, I'm already thinking of getting her a sister :P
I agree! Cats are much lower maintenance. In fact, most of them potty train themselves. It's instinctual for them to find a place to bury their waste so all you have to do is show them the litter box and they're basically trained on the spot! And although dogs can be affectionate, they don't typically cuddle the way cats do and they definitely don't purr. I love all animals but I am definitely a bigger lover of cats than any other creature.

We have two inside cats and about a dozen outside. They are mostly yellow cats with a tortie and a couple black cats. I have trapped, fixed and released the feral outside cats.
Cats are an incredible creation! Mine is Cooper, a yellow boy. He was injured by some ah before we got him. But he can get around well and just limps is all. The other inside cat is Sherman. Sherman is 17.5 pounds - that’s 7.938 kilos for my Austrailians reading!

I know I'm late, but I saw the kittehs and had to have a look. I've never been fussy when choosing a cat (well, it's usually been a case of them choosing me), but they're obviously a gorgeous breed. Vladimir is the Fabio of cats, I can see. I NEED (not want) a new cat, since I lost my wee Chloë back in January. I reckon twelve months is respectful enough, but then, I thought I'd get two, not just the one. Zero chance of boredom! Your kittehs are adorable, Daisy. I hope they live long and, indeed, prosper! Your kittens are absolutely delightful. Didn't know that Sibirians were hypoallergenic. Good to know. My family has a beautiful Norwegian Forest, her fur is supersilky and quite deceptive. She's a lightweight called Dusty. Our own cat is just a bog standard house cat, who was found by the local cat charity in a bin as a tiny kitten fending for herself. Probably waiting for mum to return. She was very poorly and the vet warned us not to get too attached. She is 16 years old now, we love her too bits, and my allergic hubby is not allergic at all to her or Dusty. Horses and dogs though... Keep those fluffy videos coming. We can all do with some light relief.

Apparently, and don't ask me where I got this from [probably a TV show here in the UK], the reason puppies and kittens look so cute is because it triggers a mothering response in humans (don't quote me on that).

My nephew loves animals but he is allergic to dogs and cats. I am going to mention this cat breed to my sister. He’a always wanted a cat and if he could safely handle a siberian that would really make him happy.
Oh yes do mention Siberian cats to your sister! They make the most wonderful pets, and so great for allergies. My fiancé is very allergic to cats and he has no problem with ours, never has. He doesn't even need to take antihistamines. Hopefully Siberians work for your nephew!
