ResMed AirFit P10 Nasal CPAP Mask Review | The BEST Minimal Mask???

  • The AirFit P10 from ResMed is one of the best nasal cpap masks you can get. It is super lightweight and easy to store, clean and pack. While sleep many barely notice it due to its minimal nature.
The P10 is a front mount nasal mask that does not have a quick connection on the tube. However, it is so easy to put on and take off, you really don't need one.
Promo code "TH-cam10" has now expired.

I’ve been using this type for 5 plus years. The tension adjustment was a much needed addition. I would sew tucks on the strap to make it fit tighter as the elastic weakened. The little white clamps they provided never really stayed in place.
They also reinforced the other weakness which was the ends would tear out. Resulting in not staying connected the head gear.
Repairing that on a sew machine was impossible. So I sometimes would tape them on. Until a replacement was ordered and received.

Thank you CPAP Store. By far the most useful and informative reviews I've seen. Any thoughts on the Philips Respironics Nuance Pro Gel Nasal Pillow? I haven't found a decent review on this one.

I have recently opted to switch to the Phillips Nuance pro. I personally believe that it is a bit of a spin off of the Phillips Go Life. For me (as a female), Phillips small size nasal pillow cushions fits better than the Resmed swift fx or p10 (the small is too small and the medium is too big 🤦‍♀️).

This mask is the reigning champ. My 02 ring never goes below 96%. Once you find the size that fits your nostril best, you don't even need it that tight to get a good seal. It's as if nothing is on your face. If you're having issues with irritated nostril, just keep moving a size up until it goes away. For instance, I'm a medium or small on most masks, but have to use a large on the P10 for my perfect fit. If this still doesn't work, you simply have it too tight. Loosen it until it doesn't hurt. The final outcome should be no pain, and you shouldn't feel it digging the inside of the nostril.

I've been using the Swift FX medium for 10 years with great success. I tried this mask for the last 2 nights and I think its better than the Swift FX. Less leakage with the p10
However the resmed headgear with giving me headaches. I switch to a Medihealer headgear made for the p10 and that one is not as tight for me.

Just got mine (baypines va), 10x better than the face mask (clamping down of nostrils, resulting in can't breathe) I'm a nose breather and it's like night and day ;-) still getting used to it (woke up and it was out of nostrils, still trying to figure out how to keep secured)

Found that the edges on the “mask to hose”area quite sharp and can be painful if you are someone who tosses and turns a lot during sleep. I prefer the Dreamweaver nasal cushion mask much more comfortable. I also prefer the hose at the top of my head rather than in front of my face.

I love the mask only 1 big problem. I like high humidity, since my hose is heated there’s no condensation but the hose on this mask is not heated so there’s lots of condensation that builds up and wakes me up. And there’s no remedy for this.

The big con of this mask is that it rests directly on the front facial lymph nodes. For many of us, this causes eye swelling AND indentations in the facial skin. I switched to a mask that does not do this. It took a while to find the right one, but it's worth it.

had used these masks for years. They used to have problem with the elastic stretching to the point where they needed to be replaced. ResMed "improved" the design with an adjustable strap. Good idea, lousy implementation. I have now had three units fail (just out of their 30-day warranty) where the elastic joins the plastic adjuster. One unit fail after only 4 night's use. This used to be a great product, now it is a total waste of money.
