I just bought the N30. I have no leaks, and the mask is comfortable. It is very quiet. The first mask I have had that does not blow in my eyes. I have dry eyes so this is a plus. I have been on cpap 8 years and this is the first I have had complete success. I highly recommend this mask.

Thank you for this review. I switched from the Swift Fx nano when Resmed discontinued it. This mask is very light and easy to use. The nasal cushion on this is more comfortable than the Swift Fx.

yeah i know this video is over 2 years old but it was kind of weird to see him use the dreamstation with the n30 before the recall. i did ask the va if they could possibly send me one of the n30 masks and they said no problem. so they are sending me one now and i am looking forward to trying it. i have been using nasal pillows, p10, for two years now and i like them, but i do want to try this also. so the va saved me over 100 bucks. they also gave me my resmed airsense 10.
Yeh... the DreamStation has a bit of a stigma these days doesn't it. Hopefully that nightmare is mostly behind us.
Love this minimum mask, great when you are a HSP and want little on your face.

Thank you for your video. I tried the N30 in early November 2019 but gave up on it quickly. I may have just had the wrong size. Looking back in my records, I see that I had a small, so I may try again with a medium. My nose comes exactly to the lines, so I'm in between like you.

@@CPAPmyway I've used it for several nights now. No leaks whatsoever, and very easy to breathe through. I'm sorry that I wrote this mask off so quickly when I just needed a different cushion.

Sadly I hear mine as the air flows. I’m wondering if my pressure setting is too high. Also is there an extra small nasal part?
Unfortunately it is not right for everyone. The pressure setting would be up to you Dr.
Have had it for about 5 days now and I have to say that it is Far From Quiet. It vents loudly when reaching out and you can hear the air constantly.
Are you experiencing leaks somewhere. We usually do not get noisy feedback on this mask.
@@CPAPmyway No, I've gone through everything. If it weren't for it being such a breathing amplifier it would be great. Not a lot of head gear, easy on and off, everything is good, except that it is LOUD. I'm waiting on a different mask to arrive. Sleeping with this machine has been such an uphill battle!
I like this mask so far after 5 days, but the problem I have is I move a lot when sleeping. I am a side and stomach sleeper and I use the Resvent CPAP, 2 days now I went to bed with a 3 star mask fit, and woke up with 0 stars so I assume it shifts out of place and due to no pillows on it, the air leaks too easy when the pressure goes high. Do you think the pillow version would work better?
NOTE: The N30 fits the nose perfectly, no leaks at all. But I think it is shifting when I toss and turn.
The pillows generally do fit better as far as the seal goes.
how does this thing work with the humidX humidifiers? could you post some photos?

The N30 mask set looks pretty good and how long can the N30 strap tightness last? (normally)
It is adjustable so it will last a long time. Usually 6-12 months.
When I turn on the machine the air comes out warm, but during the night I find out that the air has cooled off a lot. I am still a new user, is that normal?
The air may be different temps at times as the CPAP adjusts the humidity throughout the night. You can adjust the humidity setting up and it may help that a bit.
How do you add the strap to the N 30
You have to slide the frame into the little slit on the end of the headgear. About mid way throguh this video you should see that demonstrated. It can be difficult.
My problem with this mask is I am expelling air out of my mouth. I am also having a lot of dry mouth. I changed to the F30i. It is not as light and comfortable but my mouth is covered.
Yeh. That is tough. Nasal is nice, but mouth breathers really need full face.
I am a side sleeper and ones like the N30 with the soft tubing pinches shut on one side. The pillow part shifts and once again, my eyes get nailed.
I live with migraines and the morning severe headache is why I started using one. Waking with the horrid pain has caused me to have no quality of life.
ANY advice? Better masks out there?
The Brevida is a great option on that front.
I have a p10 mask but my insurance co sent the n30 pillows and I can't get them on for ANYTHING!

I have size small and when I fit the soft nasal n30 on the plastic there's a huge space and I get big mask leakage. The bottom snaps onto the hard plastic but the top doesn't. What am I doing wrong? thanks Joan

Does anyone have an issue with the tiny holes and diffuser…. Seems like I’m not able to exhale
WE have heard that many do not like the exhalation on the N30 Nasal mask. It is designed to make the exhalation very quiet and diffused, but some CPAP users have noticed a difference.
When I wear this mask, I feel like I need to have my head elevated. Is that weird??
A lot of people with sleep apnea do better when sleeping elevated. So not weird.
Does the N30 mask have a liner available?
Not from ResMed unfortunately.
