Great video. But how do I keep the air on continuously, without turning itself off? Mine is also a Resmed Airsense 10 and it senses that it's not being actively used, so it turns the air off after about 5 seconds. Obviously there is a way to override this, since you have done so in this video. Please tell me how to do that.

Something not mentioned about the comfort of the F&P Evora is the sandpaper Velcro at the top of the head strap. Where the adjustment point is, there is a small amount of hard sandpaper feeling Velcro that scrapes my head and caused a sore within a couple of nights. He has a full head of hair and would not notice this, but for my bald head, I need a bandage now. It's also horrible for a side sleeper and I wish my CPAP tech knew better since I told him I was a side sleeper.

Can you recharge this battery with usb?

Guess I'm lucky as I just started CPAP 3 months ago and this is the mask I started with. It's super comfortable and I love the front swivel. it makes it easy to switch sides when I sleep. I am mostly a side sleeper, sometimes a back sleeper, but I get more events on my back. Another benefit of the front clip is that if I wake up to use the bathroom, I can simply unhook the front tube and I don't need to take the mask off. It clips on and off very easy, even in a half dream state 😊 I started my jouney with 27 "events" per hour. Thanks to the Airsense 11 and this mask, I average less than one now. Absolutely cured.

I have an Airsense 10 and use nasal mask, I keep straps tight and don't notice excessive leaking, yet my display screen usually shows excess leaking in red "unhappy face". Is there something else causing this?

Great overview. I bought an airsense 11 from a Sleep clinic last summer. Biggest scam ever. I wish I seen this video before. I feel more confident taking control of my Apnea with CPAP after watching your videos. Next time I need supplies or advice I will be ordering from you.

The FDA has an actual video on the dangers of UV and Ozone Cpap cleaners. I went from researching the best one, to just going back to the old sink with soap and vinegar.

P10 is way better because the Solo silicone nasals move in and out when I breathe and they keep me from sleeping.

It was bad enough when you were recommending mask wipes without discussing any of the chemicals, but when you recommend a UV sanitizer that for some time now the FDA has been warning customers not to use, you show yourself clueless. Worse, you're giving people advice that can harm them.

I have a F20 and get dry mouth. My nose breathing works for the first bit of the night but then my nose feels mysteriously clogged in the middle of the night at some point. Afrin is starting to effect my sinuses and throat and chest it feels like. Would LOVE some feedback.

I had used the AirFit F20 and it was OK but after 6 years it kept cause Dry Mouth and top of my nose will be uncomfortable. When I picked up My new Airsense 11 in August 2024 I told my DME I wanted to try out a different full face mask. I had 2 masks I wanted to try on in particular (my first one was ResMed AirFit F30i and 2nd one was ResMed AirFit F40). Unfortunately he said he didn't have any AirFit F30i available. He had 2 different masks he suggested and he said he really liked. He first had me try on a Evora Full Face mask (he said this is his favorite). It was a lot more comfortable than the F20 but it was difficult removing the mask since there are no magnets. The 2nd one was a ResMed AirFit F40 (Large). I literally picked the F40 due to it being 100%Silicone and so much more comfortable. He said that this particular mask (ResMed AirFit F40) is their most popular mask and a lot of their customers love it. I had got him to size my face to see which size fits well. He said that I could use either a Large or a Meduim and I tried a Meduim but it rubbed my nose so I changed to a large. I hate I couldn't try the F30i but at least my DME had my 2nd pick of mask that I wanted to try. The important thing is I never go back to the F20.

I sleep on my back and highly recommend an adjustable bed frame if you can afford it. I just purchased one on Amazon for less than $400 and it is worth every penny to be able to sleep in the zero-gravity position.

It's my first night to use cpap, not comfortable all that lighthead ache and etc... thanks for this video it helps me and I've learned. I spent 45 mins from the clinic to listen orientations how to use cpap.

I clean my supplies in the kitchen sink, but I clean the sink first with Dawn. I use mild soap and hot water and soak for 30 minutes to an hour. I rinse everything and then soak everything in vinegar and water for 30 minutes. Then i rinse everything. I set my phone calendar for every Wednesday to wash the mask & reservoir and every Saturday to clean the hose, mask, & reservoir.

Nice review, was very helpful to see exactly what the pieces are and how they're used. I wish the plastic clip on the actual CPAP wasn't quite so bulky; saddlebag space during motorcycle trips is kinda tight as it is. The AirMini base unit is a bit noisy. In hotel rooms I can usually tuck it in a nightstand drawer to control the noise, but sometimes there's no drawer. With this kit, I'll be nice to be able to hang base unit down on the side of the bed to limit how much noise gets to my ears.

Most comfortable are the lowenstein masks

I use that exact CPAP and battery and have been backpacking with it for three years now. All in weighs about ~2lbs and altogether with battery it packs to the size of a Jetboil. I have achieved 2 nights sleep with it, though that is pushing it. One night is a sure thing. Maybe if I used it half the night I'd get 3 nights, add another battery and get 6 nights for long trek sections away from grid. This battery is notorious for draining itself when left unused for days or months - have to keep after it with some charging every couple weeks.

Outstanding Video! I use everything you talked about. Never heard of the CPAP Mat, I'll look into that. Contour pillow is great and used it but now prefer Pillow Cube. Hose hanger is a must have for me! I also find some CPAP wipes have odors, so use scent free ones. Anyway, thanks again.

I found the F30i poorly made and for me leaks regardless of adjustments. Not nearly the quality of the Phillips Dreamwear mask, in my opinion

your cons are valid on this mask. I have the same issues, just doesn't work well for me. Leak leak leak

I think this whole cleaning bit is way way over kill. 😢 the cpap companies are making millions selling you parts that don't have to be replaced often. For example, the water tank doesn't wear out .If you're using distilled, you're not going to get a mineral build up..

I wish you'd provide a link or be now specific with the Philips Respironics DreamWear Nasal (CRADLE) that you liked. Because in the stores, there is a setup/fit pack. Very annoying to find which leak more and which doesn't.

Great video. I have Central Sleep Apnea and use the Resmed Quattro Air Full Face Mask, as I have allergies. I recently bought a Knightsbridge Double Chin Strap to try to reduce mouth leak, as my tooth enamel was getting damaged. It seems to be working, so I'm considering maybe switching to a nasal mask for comfort. The problem: The Resmed F30 didn't work at all for me because the nostril holes pushed into the base of my nose and collapsed and it was hurting the base of my nose, and I was getting no air. Are the P10's nostril pillows more prominent? Do they stick into your nose? I have a large pointy nose, but my nostrils aren't that wide. Any advice appreciated. Thanks!

It's trash mask. The tiny thin clips break off easily changing mask from headgear. The need to be made sturdier like Dreamweaver headgear clips. I would not recommend buying until this issue is fixed.
