The thing is, I missed two of my Suboxone appointments because I have been so busy with work and other things lately, which I only take a tiny piece of Suboxone each day so I had a lot of extras left over. The last two times I went to jail, they gave me Subutex because I am prescribed Suboxone from a doctor on the street. This time they didn't give me any Subutex because I missed my window by 2 days. I had to withdrawal for 2 and 1/2 weeks solid while in jail. It was the worst two and a half weeks of my life, not to mention I was in four different fights this time lol... Here is my story. I've been taking 4 or 5 10mg percs for over 12yrs after a bad ski accident. After the doctor cut me off after 2yrs I went to the black market. Decided to quit 2 weeks ago. After 12 hrs of not taking any I took about 2mgs of suboxone which helped but didn't let me sleep. 3 days later i took another 2mgs. It's been a week and haven't took anything and feel ok with no craving and withdrawal.
It’s is stressful to get off the last 1/4 mg but you can push though - later even in month 3 it’s difficult to manage emotional response to stress & suppressing emotional triggers.
