- I just picked up a Carven exhaust and thought I would make a video comparing it to stock since I couldn't find one when I was looking for this exhaust. Hope you guys enjoy, let me know what you think about it. I personally think it's the best sounding exhaust for the Tacoma and I love it
This video is what made me go with carven. I bought it while I was deployed and had my step dad put it on. I heard it in person when we got back about a month ago and man am I beyond happy, best mod I have on mine so far. Makes my 2023 OffRoad manual even better

I hear ya when I went to Dealership I didn’t even think about it but I left with a manual Trd off-road . No lack of power here ,I control the rpm’s!
@@bowser1252 I'm searching for one right now haha, gotta keep the 6 spd. I've got a 13 civic si rn, which is 6spd only. I need a truck, but I don't want to lose the fun of it. 6 spd taco is the way

@@goof3012 I ordered it a little over six weeks ago and it still hasn’t even shipped. Carven is very upfront about their lead times, but man it takes a long time. I’m still excited and I’ll update you after I get it
@@goof3012 I’m back! The exhaust took a while to ship, but when it did it shipped cross country and was on my doorstep in four days. I put my truck on a lift and install took about 45 minutes to remove the stock exhaust and bolt up and position the Carven. I really love it! I spent a ton of time waiting for it to ship and watched loads of videos about it; this video is the best comparison by far and it still doesn’t do it justice. It sounds awesome on a cold start and has a great amount of throat and rumble on top of looking tough. At highway speeds there is little to no drone after the trans drops into high gear. We had to bend the stock flange a bit to get proper fitment, but everything lined up great and I really love this kit!
@@ForeverTwenty7 Thanks for getting back to me. I think I am eventually going to get it once I have enough money saved up. I have an access cab and I'm trying to figure out if the short bed option would fit. I think it should because I'm missing cab length and it goes onto the bed so it is the same overall length but I have to figure it out. I've asked carven and I still haven't really got a response.

You experience any droning on the highway or staying at high speeds?
To be honest no not really, I daily her about 30 miles a day fwy and haven't had an issue with the drone bugging me. I'm very sensitive to noises and it hasn't bugged me

Of course you have droning. That’s the price you pay! Get a louder music system is my answer!
How much louder would you say the carven is compared to stock?
It's much louder than stock but it sounds great

Late to this party, but researching a new exhaust brought me here. Currently running stock, off-roading and some minor technical routes. Did this exhaust take away from ground clearance? TIA

It helps with some performance due to catback and less backflow restriction

How’s the drone on the highway? I had to get rid of my strömung Bc there was too much drone
It does have a bit of drone but doesn't bother me
