@@LiamBond-iw4do Yeah, in a game that gives you aerial bullet time, a boss who's main form of attack is gusts of wind that give you air time isn't much of a challenge.
You picked the hardest Divine Beast for your first one lol. The Thunder Blight fight expects you to have a pretty good timing for block / dodge compared to the others (plus the added difficulty of thunder damage disarming you if under-prepared). On the bright side, you shouldn't have too much more trouble with combat until you reach the DLC.
*Game mechanics spoiler ahead* I learned that just like how normal enemy difficulty scales the further into the game you are, so does the health and damage of the blights. So if you’re looking to try a master-mode run, I absolutely recommend doing Vah Naboris first because I have several friends who quit because it’s so hard.
Watching people play this game for the first time is so entertaining. You get to see other peoples perspective on the world that this game drops you into, and everyone has a completely different experience. It's the charm of being dropped into a giant new world that makes this game so much better than its sequel.
You're completely nuts for not going to Zora's Domain or Rito Village first, but I respect it. And I'm thrilled that you're continuing to play this game and upload it :)
sorry for the backseat if you're not interested, but if you jump off a ledge high enough to where you can glide, taking out the bow will slow time, allowing for better aim. it takes stamina though, so be careful of that. you can also cancel the slow-mo shooting (we call it "bullet time" in the Zelda BotW community) by pressing B (to take away the bow) or X (to take out the paraglider)
This game is absolutely ruthless until you get like 12+ hearts, really adept at cooking and another stamina wheel. How quickly thunderblight Gannon killed you right off the bat you didn’t even have time to move 🤣. I can’t believe you haven’t gone on a shrine spree just to get more hearts as many times as you’ve died lol. The commitment to beating that beast was admirable.
8:46 i knew something was off, youre playing with Second Wind on! I have to say please don't. You'll get a much better experience playing the game vanilla, beating it, and then going back and playing with mods. that way you can really appreciate the qol changes that Second Wind has to offer. just a suggestion :)
TH-cam randomly recommended your channel, finished watching part 1 a moment ago and now part 2, because this is one hella entertaining playthrough of BotW!
Stop using all your stamina when sprinting 😭. If you leave a slight sliver it's recharge normally. (While your recharging stamina, you can "whistle sprint" do it by: holding forward, holding whistle, and spamming sprint button)
Dang, I just finished watching the last video and this one released! I feel blessed. I know all the other comments are talking about it, but mad respect for going Thunderblight first. I remember watching my dad fight it before I left for school in the morning… don’t sweat all the deaths, because that is completely normal, lmao. It’s cool to see new blind playthroughs of this game, especially so long after its release. Keep up the great work! And don’t burn yourself out.
I've 100% completed both regular and master mode and this is the first time I've seen BUNNIES in the game! Thunderblight was also my first blight and it was exhilarating 😊
"In this game, I can be like 'oh I should be able to do this!' and it's more of a surprise if I can't." Oh my dude, I cannot WAIT for you to try Tears of the Kingdom. Nintendo saw how much people liked this aspect of BotW and went "hold my beer." That game is INSANE, lol.
Greetings from the BIG SKY of Montana. The enemy that you fight for a divine beast start at 800 HP and go to 2,000 HP so which ever you take on first will be more than half as hard as the last one. They go up by 400HP a divine beast.
This is awesome. I absolutely love watching these! Just fecking amazing the commentary, how you play. Question: How are you enjoying the game so far, thinking of getting totk after your done?
I’m glad I wasn’t the only one that mistakenly went to gerudo first lmao. At the time I was thinking “god if every boss is this hard, I’m going to be at this game for a long time”
14:07 i have put hundreds of hours into this game and have not once seen rabbits, somebody please tell me whats going on because I feel like I'm tripping
Lad, love your accent Great gameplay reaction! Very entertaining! As a guy who completed the game, I can tell that naboris was the hardest part (as well as starting the game and collecting the gear) Keep it up!
4:25 ive played this game more times than i can count and i never knew you could knock those pillars over i always just stacked the boxes and jumped from pillar to pillar
such an underrated channel, i have played botw for a long time and i recommend getting more hearts and a few stamina vessels, i also think vah ruta (the one in the east) is probably good for you to take out cuz you get miphas grace wich revives you when you die (it also has a 10-20m cooldown i dont really remember). I love your content!
I love seeing new players experience btw for the first time! Even after so many years and seeing many playthroughs, everyone's experience are unique and interesting 😂 you're the first player I've watched take down the desert first! Mad respect. You took down the hardest one first. I look forward to watching the rest of your journey 😉

Oh please do more! I haven't had such a good time watching a playthrough video in IDK when!! I'm totally invested now! Subscribing so I don't miss future episodes!!
whenever i played BotW, my order list for the divin beasts are as follow: the elephant, the gecko, the bird, and then the camel. i've always done the camel last and thunderblight LAST, i hate it so much THAT MUCH. but now i'm tempted to go for that first and see if i can do any better knowing the methods on how to not snafu the whole operation XD maybe next year when i wanna play it fresh again, though.
Are you playing this on PC? Because I think you are playing a version with mods. The shrine you did by the stable at the start of the video is different from how it is in the base game. Edit: I'm seeing differences in the other shrines as well. Edit 2: Yep, definitely a mod. I'm halfway into the video and seeing bunnies, which do not exit in the base game.
@@mmobofficial Ah ok. Just got to the end where you explain that. I haven't followed that mod for a while. Hopefully anything incomplete doesn't harm your first experience with this game :)
As someone who also started with Thunderblight on their first playthrough, respect Though on the other hand, I lost to the boss probably 30 times before hanging my head and going for the Zora one 😭
I don't know if you went back and spoke to Riju (The little gerudo lady in charge) after you did the divine beast, but you totally should because you get some neat things. This goes for all of the leaders of the region after you've solved their divine beast problem. Repeating the sentiment that doing Vah Naboris as your first divine beast is INSANE and also congrats on doing it. Also herta's space station music at the outro hehehe
Some game hack advice that is part of the game design, if you find either a fire based or ice based element enemy you can instantly kill them by using an opposite element element weapon. As you discovered shooting the ice lizalfos with fire arrows. Electric enemies don't have an opposite element though unfortunately.
Unironically, doing Thunder Blight first was both a smart play and a hard one. On one hand yours tools are weak early on so you'll struggle more on what is unquestionably the hardest dungeon boss. HOWEVER the health and damage of the bosses scale depending on the order you take them on; meaning you got to take on the easiest version of the hardest fight by doing it first.
Thanks for sharing your experience with us all. I'm always happy to see new people getting into TLoZ series although it has being weird people having BotW or TotK instead of more traditional titles. Anyway, have fun, take your time, see you.
dont forget to talk to the chief after doing the beast so u get the champion weapon, its really good to have them before getting the sword that seals the darknes
