@@thevioletbee5879 its definitely possible, but I don’t want to spoil how you’d do it. But yes, koroks do despawn if you try taking them through the depths.

It’s actually hilarious that he went to Riverside Stable, because (at least in BotW) there's a running joke from several of the NPCs complaining about how there were no women there. One of them even reacts to Link in the Gerudo outfit before realizing, one of the only NPCs outside the desert to do so.

There's also the Recall Launch glitch where you fuse a plank to a spear, throw the spear which makes it spin around its axis, freeze it in place, then attach a wing to it to throw you upwards a chasm in seconds
Or ride out on a dragon
You can climb out of the depths by hand, if you're really committed and properly prepared.
HappyFamily%: You have to build your dreamhouse near Tarrey Town and have a nice Painting of you, Zelda (The Yiga Imposter Zelda), your Horse and a Korok.
The Moment you have the Painting in your House the Run is finished.

Wrong Hole%: Collect the statue's 4 eyes on the Great Plateau from the "A Call From the Depths" side quest and drop them into Death Mountain.
The statue never specified which chasm the eyes need to be dropped into!
Yahah-yeet%: Yeet a Korok off the starting Island. The run ends when the Korok respawns.
yiga soup%: dress up as a yiga and bring a korok up to the giant boiling pot in forge island and make soup with a korok and as many bananas as you can ( I think its 21 or 24 before they despawn)
edit: gotta have the whole yiga set not just the mask
Landscaping%: Build a Zonai lawnmower and unleash it on Flowerblight Ganon
Where The Sun Don't Shine%: Plant a brightbloom flower between the cheeks of every statue in the depths.
One of the best ideas here
Blackout drunk percent you need to get to the bar in gerudo with enough rupees to fill your whole inventory with noble pursuits (60 I think) then have link drink them all

The funny thing about restaurant% is that in Majora’s mask ganondorf was gonna be just a simple npc

Barrel%: At every stable there is a wooden barrel you can stand in time ends when you stand in every barrel.
Ultraveggie%: take 21 backpack koroks and glue them together
Spicy Ultraveggie%: take 21 backpack koroks, glue them together, and explode them in a fireworks show. Maybe in Tarrey Town.
Sad that there is no cooking pot in Ganon's restaurant.

Restaurant % is a testament to how creative humanity can truly be
Link Cosplay%: Collect all the armor pieces of Link's previous adventures (The Time, Twilight, Awakening, Sky, Hero & Wind sets) and take a picture while wearing them.
Doordash%:
- Find malanya
- Use malanya bed
- make whatever meal they ask for in the dream
- Deliver the food to Malanya
Lowest %: Beat the game by going to every dungeon and getting the master sword, but by going to the least amount of map locations as possible and get the lowest % on your map after beating the game

Ultimate Offender% Enter every single town in the game, and hit at least one person in there. You must also get one of each race, so gerudo, hylian, Zora, rito, and goron.

Not only that, but Sidon, Yona, and Link all have two hands. Just cause they ship/talk about Link and Sidon doesn't mean they completely disregard Yona. Poly relationships are a thing. I've seen people ship all three together.

Restaurant% absolutely killed me XD
please consider Icarus % where you go to the highest altitude sky island in the game, launch yourself off it on a glider, wait for it to despawn, and fall to your death
You must dive the entire way down. No glide suit or fairies
Gamble%: get one (or more) of each type of Zonai device using the dispensers.

Personally I want some speedrun categories where you have to get constructs to fuse random items and attack you with them. Like butter smack percent or omelet percent

Well, think about this: Breath of the Wild was out for six years, and much of the fanbase really seeped into Sidon as the #1 husband in the game. Think of it like being given a puppy by your friend, and then one day, they just take them back and never let you pet them again.
Sorry I can't compare a fish husband to a puppy, not only is that kind of dumb of a comparison. I'm more happy for Sidon that he's married, like a true friend I'd be ecstatic to be the best man at his wedding.@@1ndiebird

One could argue that the Koroks don't deserve it either, but that doesn't stop us from relishing in their suffering.
The koroks deserve it for the shitty prize they give anyone, especially Hetsu. Golden pieces of korok poop is well worth our annoyance. We were just given the tools in the sequel to give justice.@@Emberilliance

How about doing a max horse%? The goal of the run is to find a horse as early as possible, and then fully upgrade the horse to all five stars
I always figured "Eventide" is pronounced like "even tide," not "event ide."
How about the "Burn Hudson%" where you set one of those Hudson boards in tarry town on fire as fast as possible.

Aztec%: Build a House out of any Material, Build a Bed Inside of It, Stick 2 Koroks onto the Bed, Carry the House onto Eldin Volcano, and then Drop the House Into the Volcano. Time ends once you take a Picture of Link Posing on top of the Volcano right after you've dropped It inside
Gather as many Koroks as you can in one location.
bath% Get ganondorf out of the chamber you fight him in, and get him to a goron hot spring.
how about True Reverse Reddit Mod%, where it's the same as RRM%, but you can't ascend

I love the constant debate of “why’d he pick her?” Like he didn’t pick anybody Link’s a hylian male you’re not his type. At all. Mipha might have been into some taboo shit tryna have a hylian/fish person marriage but Sidon’s not.
@@Syntex366 There's actually some in-game evidence that the marriage was Dorephan's idea (one of the stones says Sidon's father informed him he'd be marrying Yona). This doesn't mean Sidon doesn't love her, but it *is* another relevant dimension. 🤔
resistance%: get all yiga armor pieces and complete the master kohga side quest. you need to wear the full yiga armor and use only weapons used by yiga clan members. run ends after you defeat kohga beneath rito village
I am very glad that abcs is still used. It was expected, but I was kinda dissapointed when it got patched in 2 days.

I wonder why Nintendo decided to make the collision in BotW and TotK double-sided? The only thing it does is it requires you to do is clip twice, not hard, just more inconvenient! (It's not like most people know how to execute any out of bounds tricks!)
I suspect that wasn't intentional, but a side-effect of the logic to make almost every surface in the game climbable. The reason I suspect that is because by designing the game to be one where players can climb on literally almost anything, they probably wanted to use game logic that very consistently made sure such surfaces were behaving correctly everywhere they appear.
No Weapons%. It’s like any%, but no weapons, bows, or shields. (Except when absolutely mandatory.)
The restaurant one is the funniest idea ever for this game.
New category: Crowd Control Co-op any%
You play the speedrun while your partner operates crowd control and gives buffs/items/etc. to beat it as fast as possible.
Carnivore% eat every meat possible: if they have different names, they are different meals
Rail% - attach a fan to that really broken rail in the depths
better rock%
kill a talus and feed its heart to a frox
(if anyone can think of a better name, plz let me know)

No paraglider% finish the game without ever collecting the paraglider from purah and also finish the 4 regional phenomena (have fun with the wind ark) then beat ganon up

Fuse as many koroks as possible together in one clump, then autobuild them in front of them (using zonite, not the koroks themselves)

What’s funny is that during korok%, the molduga never ate the korok. The “help! Help!” Texts were still there after the moldiuga sprung up.
